Abstract

Siswa memiliki peran dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan cara menjalankan proses belajar yang baik serta mengerjakan tugas secara mandiri dan bertanggung jawab. Ini dapat dicapai apabila siswa mempunyai kemampuan self-regulated learning (SRL), yaitu kemampuan mengatur disiplin diri saat belajar. Terdapat faktor eksternal dan internal yang mendorong SLR siswa, yaitu pola asuh autoritatif (PAA) dan efikasi diri (ED). Penelitian ini hendak mengkaji peran PAA dan ED pada SRL siswa remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud secara kuantitatif. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 198 siswa remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud, yang dipilih melalui systematic random sampling. Alat ukur penelitian terdiri dari skala self-regulated learning (SRL), skala pola asuh autoritatif (PAA), dan skala efikasi diri (ED). Analisis hasil menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda yang mengindikasikan adanya peran PAA dan ED pada SRL sebesar 50,4% dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05). Hal ini berarti hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Secara lebih lanjut, PAA diketahui berperan secara mandiri pada SRL serta ED juga berperan mandiri pada SRL siswa remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud.Students take part in improving the quality of education by studying properly and completing their tasks responsibly. These can only be achieved when students have self-regulated learning (SRL), which is the ability to discipline themselves in the activity of studying. There are external and internal factors that encourage SRL of adolescent student, which is authoritative parenting (PAA) and self-efficacy (ED). This study wants to examine the role of PAA and ED in SRL of adolescent students in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud quantitatively. The participants of this study consisted of 198 adolescent students in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud who were chosen through systematic random sampling. The instruments of this study are self-regulated learning scale, authoritative parenting scale, and self-efficacy scale. This study using multiple regression analysis technique that show the role of PAA and ED in SRL by 50.4% with a significance value is 0,000 (p <0.05). Furthermore, this study indicates that PAA independently has significant role in SRL. ED also independently has significant role in SRL of adolescent students in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of adversity quotient and authoritative parenting on college students academic achievement. Subjects in this quantitative study were specifically college students in Denpasar, the biggest city in Bali which amounted to 106 people who were selected through a multi-stage cluster sampling technique. Instruments used were Adversity Quotient Scale, Authoritative Parenting Scale and students GPA. The results of multiple linear regression test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) and an R value of 0.832 with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.692, which means that Adversity Quotient and authoritative parenting style together play a role of 69, 2% towards academic achievement. The higher the level of Adversity Quotient and authoritative parenting, the higher the academic achievement of college students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kondisi stres mahasiswa melalui desain penelitian cross-sectional survey. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 111 mahasiswa program studi sarjana. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan open-ended questionnaire, perceived stress scale-10, dan brief COPE questionnaire. Data kualitatif dianalisis dengan analisis tematik. Data kuantitatif dianalisa dengan One-Way ANOVA dan Multiple Regression. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: 1) permasalahan kehidupan kampus, perasaan dan pikiran negatif, serta permasalahan relasi merupakan situasi sulit yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa; 2) sebanyak 49,5% mahasiswa menunjukkan tingkat stres pada kategori rendah dan 50,5% mahasiswa menunjukkan tingkat stres pada kategori tinggi; 3) strategi koping dapat memprediksi stres secara signifikan; dan 4) strategi koping jenis positive reframing dan active coping dapat memprediksi penurunan stres, sedangkan strategi koping jenis self-blame dan self-distraction dapat memprediksi peningkatan stres. Intervensi psikologis yang berkaitan dengan strategi koping aktif dan berpikir positif diperlukan untuk membantu mahasiswa menghadapi permasalahan akademik, emosional, dan sosial.

Abstract

Siswa selama mengikuti proses belajar di sekolah mempunyai kewajiban untuk menyelesaikan tugas akademik dengan tepat waktu, namun masih sering dijumpai siswa lyang melakukan prokrastinasi akademik yang berdampak pada penurunan prestasi akademik. Prokrastinasi akademik yaitu kecenderungan keterlambatan untuk mengawali maupun mengakhiri tugas yang berkaitan dengan bidang akademik. Beberapa hal dapat berperan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik siswa antara lain kecenderungan kecanduan gawai dan self-regulated learning. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui peran kecenderungan kecanduan gawai dan self-regulated learning terhadap prokrastinasi akademikl siswa SMAN X di Kabupaten Badung yang diambill dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian inii menggunakan metode lkuantitatif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 273 siswa SMAN X di Kabupaten Badung. Alat ukur pada penelitian menggunakan Skala Prokrastinasi Akademik, Skalai Kecenderungan Kecanduan Gawai, dan Skala Self-Regulated Learning. Tekniki analisisl data memakai regresi berganda. Uji regresi berganda membuktikan bahwa nilaii koefisieni regresi sebesari 0,185 dan nilaii signifikansii sebesari 0,009 (p<0,05). Nilai koefisien beta terstandarisasi pada variabel kecenderungan kecanduan gawai sebesar 0,134 dan pada variabel self-regulated learning sebesar -0,125. Hasil dari analisis data menyatakan kecenderungan kecanduan gawai dan self-regulated learning secara bersama-samai berperanl terhadap prokrastinasi akademik siswa SMAN X di Kabupaten Badung.

Abstract

Mahasiswa yang mengalami kecemasan akan menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial, mudah tersinggung, sulit tidur. Hal-hal ini bisa mengganggu aktivitas dari mahasiswa maupun hasil akademik yang akan diperoleh oleh mahasiswa. Selain itu hal ini juga bisa berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hal-hal apa saja yang menjadi intervensi kecemasan pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini disusun dengan kajian literatur deskriptif.  Kriteria inklusi dalam pencarian literatur yang digunakan 1) artikel diterbitkan dalam rentang waktu 10 tahun terakhir yaitu 2013-2022; 2) subjek penelitian pada literatur yaitu mahasiswa; 3) artikel membahas mengenai intervensi kecemasan pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan dan peneliti mengelompokkan 4 kategori intervensi kecemasan pada mahasiswa yaitu (1) cognitive therapy yang mencakup pelatihan berpikir positif, thought stopping, virtual reality, terapi relaksasi nafas, terapi tertawa, (2) behavior therapy yang mencakup expressive writing therapy, terapi relaksasi progresif, (3) art therapy yang mencakup mewarnai mandala, terapi warna hijau, dan (4) aromaterapi lavender.  Kata kunci: intervensi kecemasan mahasiswa, kecemasan, literature review

Abstract

Seorang remaja dengan profesinya sebagai model dituntut untuk memiliki kepercayaan diri guna memenuhi segala tuntutan dalam profesinya sebagai model dan proses melewati fase perkembangan remaja. Kepercayaan diri adalah keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuan dirinya untuk menyelesaikan suatu hal sesuai dengan kebutuhannya dan memperoleh apapun yang telah diharapkan. Kepercayaan diri dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya citra diri dan komparasi sosial. Penilaian yang diberikan remaja model kepada dirinya dan seberapa sering remaja model melakukan perbandingan dengan orang lain akan memengaruhi taraf kepercayaan dirinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui  peran citra diri dan komparasi sosial terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja yang berprofesi sebagai model di Kota Denpasar. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 111 remaja berprofesi sebagai model di Kota Denpasar. Uji regresi berganda didapatkan hasil nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,842, nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,708. Hal ini berarti citra diri dan komparasi sosial secara bersama-sama berperan terhadap kepercayaan diri. Koefisien beta terstandarisasi variabel  citra diri sebesar  0,572 dan nilai koefisien beta terstandarisasi variabel komparasi sosial sebesar -0,334, menunjukkan bahwa citra diri berperan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan komparasi sosial berperan menurunkan kepercayaan diri remaja berprofesi sebagai model di Kota Denpasar. Hasil tersebut juga menunjukkan bahwa citra diri berperan lebih besar terhadap kepercayaan diri dibanding dengan peran komparasi sosial.

Abstract

Dating violence is a phenomenon that is increasingly occurring in intimate relationships, especially at the early stage of adolescence. Approximately 1 in 4 or 26.4% of women in Indonesia have experienced violence physically, verbally, sexually, emotionally, and financially. Although anyone can experience dating violence, women tend to be victims more often than men. Violence against women stems from the imbalance of power relations between women and men that has developed over a long time ago resulting in a culture called patriarchy. This study aims to explore the experiences of women who have been or are currently being the victims of dating violence. The research is conducted to 20 females aged 19-30 years who live in Bali and Java Island. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods and is analyzed using thematic analysis method. The results of the study found that 100% of respondents had experienced verbal violence, 55% had experienced physical violence, 40% had experienced sexual violence, and 25% had experienced financial violence. However, as many as 17 out of 20 respondents had blamed themselves for the violence they had experienced. The results showed that there were differences in perceptions of the dating violence experience, the level of self-esteem, and their ability to forgive among the respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how parents interpret experiences in assisting children with special needs to learn from home. This research method is phenomenological qualitative with data collection in the form of semi-structured interviews. Interviews were conducted online with three parents of children with special needs obtained by the purposive sampling method. The data obtained were then transcribed and analyzed by Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The results showed that there were several superordinate themes, namely: (1) parents' views on the child's condition, (2) difficulties faced while accompanying children to study, (3) emotional experiences while accompanying children, (4) relationship and social support obtained and expected by parents, (5) worries and future expectation. In this study, parents conveyed their personal experiences and feelings in accompanying children while learning from home. This finding can contribute to the field of educational and clinical psychology as a basis for providing appropriate interventions for parents in assisting children with special needs to learn from home. Abstract

Deaf adolescent has different characteristics in speech and language (Effendi, 2009). These differences cause difficulties in interacting and dealing with adolescent developmental tasks so that adolescent feels isolated and has low self-esteem (Halimah & Elcamila, 2010). One way to improve self-esteem is by dancing, as a form of self-expression and development of confidence in the self competence (Branden, 2005). This study aimed to determine the effect of dancing Balih-balihan toward self esteem of deaf adolescent in Bali. The sampling technique used in this study is two stages cluster sampling. Subjects of this research are 40 deaf students of SLB B in Bali, from age 11-24 years old. The research method that used is ex post facto. Data is collected by using scale of self-esteem based on aspects by Coopersmith. The dance variable is divided into two groups named the control and the experimental group, in this case the experimental group has been doing dance activity as a compulsory activity in schools. Data were analyzed by using Independent Sample T-Test. The validity test shows there are 20 valid items with a reliability coefficient of 0.384. The result of data analysis shows data distribution is normal and homogeneous. Independent Sample T-Test results t values 1.542 with a probability value 0.131 (p> 0.05). It means there is no significant effect of dancing Balih-balihan toward self-esteem of deaf adolescent in Bali. Keywords: Dancing Balih-balihan, self-esteem, deaf adolescent
