Abstract

The Betawi folks in Pondok Benda Village, Bekasi town continuously perform the Nyorog tradition once hospitable the month of Ramadan and before Eid. they'll send food within the variety of cakes or rice along {side|in conjunction with|beside|at the side of|together with} side dishes to older folks. the aim of this study was to work out the values contained within the Nyorog tradition of the Betawi community in Kampung Pondok Benda, Bekasi town. This study uses a qualitative technique employing a case study approach. information sources were taken from fifteen informants through in-depth interviews consisting of ancient leaders, spiritual leaders, employees, youths, and housewives in Pondok Benda Village, Jatirasa Subdistric, Jatiasih District, Bekasi town. The conclusion is that there square measure four Islamic values within the ancient Nyorog Betawi tradition in Pondok Benda Village, Jatiasih District, Bekasih town that is to 1) respect for older folks, 2) taking care of relationship, 3) moments for giving almsgiving, 4) academic facilities for kids.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what values ​​are contained in PAI learning in class IX at SMP Negeri 22 Padang. The method used in this research is a combination method or mixed methods. With exploratory mixed methods, the designs approach namely sequential designs starting from qualitative data collection in the first stage through in-depth interviews with two informants selected through purposive sampling technique and followed by quantitative data collection in the second stage using a questionnaire to 30 students in class IX. All data in the second stage were analyzed descriptively using the IBM SPSS Statistics 24 application. Overall, the results of this study indicate that there are four values ​​of religious moderation in PAI learning, namely in preliminary activities, core activities, and learning evaluation. The four values ​​are i`tidal, tasamuh, shura, and qudwah. The results of this study also prove that learning Islamic religious education in schools is effective in instilling the values ​​of religious moderation in students in junior high school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the perceptions of the guardians of students regarding sex education in children. The method used in this research is a survey using a data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics. Respondents in this study were the guardians of twenty-three students of TPQ Baitul Amal Padang City using the purposive sampling technique. The sample is determined based on certain criteria, namely parents or guardians of students with active status at TPQ Baitul Amal. The results showed that there were twelve perceptions of TPQ Baitul Amal's guardians on sex education for children, namely 1) the importance of sex education for children 70%, 2) providing basic sex education for children 30%, 3) sex education limited to husband-wife relationships 70 %, 4) sex education is only for adults 20%, 5) guardians of students feel confused about providing sex education to children 80%, 6) guardians of students feel ashamed to deliver sex education to children 30%, 7) children will know by themselves 50 %, 8) the time is not right to provide sex education to children 30%, 9) sex education is the responsibility of teachers in schools 30%, 10) the lack of information received by guardians of students 100%, 11) children are given the freedom to seek educational information sex on the internet 30%, 12) lack of knowledge about sex education is one of the causes of sexual crimes 30%.

Abstract

This study attempts to examine the Islamization and growth of Islamic educational institutions in the archipelago, a discussion at the beginning of how Islam entered Indonesia, halaqah as the earliest scientific center in the archipelago, and how the support of the kings at that time for education. This study uses qualitative research methods. This study discusses the growth of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, beginning with the origin of the advent of Islam, the bearers of Islam and the channels of Islamization as well as the growth and development of Islamic educational institutions. The type of study used is library research by using literature study methods and historical approaches. The literature that is the main source of this study is literature including journal articles that discuss the history of Islam and education in Indonesia. Islam spread through the role of three great kingdoms, namely; Samudra Passai, Perlak and Darussalam. The three kingdoms played an important role in the growth and early development of Islamic education in Indonesia. The earliest manifestation of Islamic educational institutions in the archipelago was halaqah, halaqah was performed in the Palace Mosque, in the colonies where Muslim traders stopped at the port. The lessons given in various halaqah range from basic to advanced level.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the values of moderation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 22 Padang. This study uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. As a data source, the researchers selected 14 informants using a purposive sampling technique. The informants included one school principal, one curriculum representative, two Islamic religious education teachers, and ten students. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by reduction, presentation, and conclusion. This study found four values of moderation namely i`tidal by being assertive through the regulations and the evaluation stage, tasamuh by advising about tolerance, shura by familiarizing students with discussions and deliberations, and qudwah by making the teacher a good person to emulate. These four values are internalized using four methods namely being an example for students, doing habituation, giving advice, and telling stories.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of human-based media in learning Islamic religious education at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The main source of this research, researchers took from one Islamic religious education teacher and ten students. Research data was taken using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentary evidence. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and making research conclusions. This research proves that human-based media by Islamic religious education teachers at Pertiwi 1 Padang High School has been used for a long time and works well. Because the teacher already has sufficient insight regarding human-based media. The application of human-based media is divided into two, namely in the classroom by showing good gestures and public speaking and outside the classroom by exemplifying the style of speech, dress, and teaching respect to the teacher. The use of human-based media also has a positive impact on students, seen from the increasing learning outcomes during the use of human-based media. The inhibiting factors in the use of human-based media are the condition of the teacher, the condition of the students, and the environment. The supporting factors are the teacher's ability and the support of the school principal
