Abstract

Tingginya angka pemutusan hubungan kerja atau PHK di Kawasan perkotaan juga merambat pada industri perkebunan karet di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Hal ini terjadi dengan akibat pandemic covid 19 yang merambah semua dunia kerja dan tak lepas para pekerja perkebunan dan petani pada umumnya. Dengan bercermin pada kejadian ini maka tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat melakukan kegiatan pengabdian berupa sosialisasi budidaya tanaman karet sebagai penopang ekonomi petani pasca pandemic di kelurahan Ballasaraja Kecamatan Bulukumpa Kab Bulukumba Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan tahun 2021-2022. Tanaman karet dipilih dengan masa panen relative Panjang di kisaran 25-27 tahun dengan sistem panen perhari dan dimulai produktif di usia 4-5 tahun pasca tanam dengan tawaran omset mengiurkan 1 ton getah karet per hektar  dengan harga Rp 12.000 per kilogram bisa mencapai RP. 12.000.000 perbulan. Ini adalah penghasilan fantastis yang mengiurkan petani. System tanam, dan perawatan karet yang relatif mudah juga memberikan kemudahan pada para petani untuk menguji coba. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini tim pengabdi melakukan sosialisasi mulai dari motifasi, cara pembibitan, pengolahan tanah, penanaman dan penyulaman, perawatan dan pemeliharaan, tumpeng sari dan pemupukan. Diharapkan kegiatan sosialisasi pembinaan budidaya tanaman karet ini efektif untuk membantu masyarakat terlepas dari jerat ekonomi akibat pandemic yang berkepanjangan di beberapa tahun mendatang.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to determine the relationship between independent and dependent variables. To investigate the impact of the story face strategy and the concept mapping strategy on second grade students' reading comprehension at senior high school. This is an experimental study with a pre test and post test design. The research sample consisted of second grade students (2 Sains classes) during the academic year 2018/2019, and the purposive sampling technique was used. The effect of Story Face Strategy and Concept Mapping Strategy toward reading comprehension based on the data indicates that there was significant effect between data in pre-test and data taken from post-test of the students' achievement. The value of the test was highly significant showed as 19.088 and the t-table was showed as 2.093. The value score of t-test was quite higher than the t-table (19.088 2.093). It is concluded that the Story Face Strategy and Concept Mapping Strategy are effective in teaching reading skill to senior high school second grade students.

Abstract

Background: The purpose of this activity is to provide learning to teachers so that they can carry out an effective and enjoyable learning process to increase student interest in learning. Method: This training is to start with the analysis stage by asking the teachers at SDN 239 Sarajoko problems regarding the online learning process through the zoom application with 13 teachers at SDN 239 Sarajoko and also carried out offline. then design and carry out Canva application training as a learning medium by presenting material after which there is a question and answer session and an evaluation stage of the training results to measure the progress of the results of the training to partners and the final stage of this training is the consultation stage which is carried out so that they continue to carry out communication relationships with partners and service teams. Results: The results of this dedication can be described in several stages, namely the 3 indicators that are the focus of the service team to be implemented in the program are the Canva application in making videos, power points, posters as learning materials. This Canva application training activity really helps teachers to improve their ability to provide modern and effective teaching methods that will make the learning process systematic and comfortable.

Abstract

The aim of this research project is to learn more about students' reading comprehension through the application of H.U.G. penultimate. Utilizing a single pre-experimental method with desired results pre-test, post-test. A baseline test was administered to each participant, followed by a treatment plan consisting of eight therapy sessions, and finally a final test. The subject of this essay is the second grade, students of SMAN 13 Gowa, for the 2019/2020 school year. From here. Ten. Classes consist of orderly and orderly classes for each student. The class consists of 35 women. In this case, the total population is 0.350 students. Due to the heterogeneity of students in learning English, the researchers used a purposive sampling technique. Researchers, however, chose a different class to serve as their personal watchman. As a result, the total number of participants in this study is 35. The mean score for the participants in the pre-test was 54.85, while the post-test score for the participants was.81.82. Then there was a average correction, with the post-test student score being higher than the pre-test score. Development of students' reading skills. understanding is proven by value. the. pre-test, which is higher than the value of t-table. (17,320>3,081). This indicates that students in Grades II and SMA 13 Gowa can comprehend written material specifically by using the strategies of Highlighting, Underlining, and Glossing. Students' understanding and their talent for reading texts. Afterward, the researcher concluded that the use of Highlighting Underlining and Glossing strategies in reading material could improve the class is composed of 35 students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand how the use of Method Talking Chips can increase the capacity of students boarding students at the first-year sole school in Kabupaten Gowa. First grade students of SMAN 13 Gowa year 2019/2020 is the focus of this essay. There are 247 participants who make up the seven classes, which are the exact class (X IPA 1), which has 33 participants, the exact class (X IPA 2), which has 34 participants, and the exact class (X IPA 3), which has 37 participants. X Social 1) was composed of 36 students, while X Social 2 was composed of 34 students. The 35 students who make up the social class (X social 3). The 38 women who make up the social class (X social 4). Purposive sampling techniques were used in this study. Class that is advertised as a secondary school. The recording is used to analyze the language that was spoken by the students. The total score for all participants in the pre-test can be interpreted as being 6.8. In the post-test, the mean scores of students' fluency and the mean scores of students' comprehension were respectively 4.03 and 3.68. The total number of average students at the post-test was 7.71. By comparing the total number of participants at the pre- and post-tests, it can be seen that the post-test had a higher total number of participants than the pre-test. With other words, it can be said that 7.71>6.8. It is possible to demonstrate that using the chip-based speaking method, students understanding and speaking fluency both significantly increase.
