Abstract

Scholarships are awards from an institution or an individual to someone for educational purposes. Scholarships can be given free or on conditions that prospective scholarship grantee must-have. The scholarship grantee selection process is usually with several criteria in order to get grantee who can be declared elected as scholarship grantee. The use of several criteria in the selection process requires more analysis to determine the scholarship grantee. Moora (Multi-Objective Optimization on The Base of Ratio Analysis) is one of the methods of decision support systems that can be used to assist decision-makers in making decisions. This study takes scholarship acceptance criteria as a parameter then each parameter is given a weight based on the priority of each parameter. The results of this study are to get an optimization value of each alternative then after ranking, it can be seen the ranking of scholarship grantee.

Abstract

This research will discuss a web-based stroke therapy model to display examples of online therapeutic movements. This therapy is expected to help the patient's attendant to perform the therapy independently. The attendant must consult with a physiotherapist/doctor to determine the appropriate therapy. This research is motivated by the results of focus group discussions with physiotherapy to get a positive response and an acceptable value of 80%. Results of focus group discussions suggest for mobile-based development of the model. Based on these suggestions, the design of the model in this study will be developed based on the web. A web-based application is expected to simplify the distribution process of expert system models for non-pharmacological stroke therapy tools.

Abstract

Computer science and information technology have advanced in a variety of sectors that were previously unachievable due to constraints such as hardware. Computer vision can be used to recognize an object using computer science. Objects can be recognized by taking or recording photos or videos and then processing them using specific tools and methodologies. The goal of the facial landmark-based face detection research using OpenCV and Dlib is to perform face detection in people so that it can be used for a variety of purposes in the future. The strategy employed in this study was the usage of facial landmarks using OpenCV and Dlib to improve face detection accuracy. Face detection has been effectively carried out based on facial landmark points, according to the findings of testing the entire system. Face landmark-based face detection is more accurate using the OpenCV Dlib, which can be seen during processing in the OpenCV Dlib, which can precision photos based on facial movements.

Abstract

Indonesian agricultural products are one of the highest-yielding agricultural commodities on the Asian continent. Farmers are still reliant on a manual method to agricultural land care and management, one of which is the application of fertilizer to agricultural land. As a result, with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or a robot flying drone, a system or fertilizer sowing equipment is utilized on plants. The results of this study led to the creation of a hexacopter drone equipped with fertilizer-based sensors and GPS. Hexacopter refers to a quadcopter having only four rotors. Drone rides are paired with tank-shaped sower actuators and fertilizer spraying as a container and fertilizer sowing method. Using GPS sensor block m8n, which serves as a satellite signal receiver and is converted to a position point in the form of longitude and latitude values, the vehicle can travel to fertilize by following the route of the coordinate point that has been identified in the agricultural land region. The Pixhawk 2.4.8 flight control system, which uses automatic or autonomous controls, can run smoothly, allowing the ride to automatically seed the track. The Lippo 2300mAh 4s battery has a maximum ride load lifting capability of 500 grams of fertilizer and a fertilizing height of three meters.

Abstract

The digital era affects students' attitudes toward utilizing applications as learning media. This phenomenon can be used to boost student achievement, but it can also have negative consequences, such as chatting while studying or cheating on school exams. To support the positive and reduce the negative impact of smartphone use, it is necessary to supervise this activity. The supervision can be done by utilizing a camera to detect a smartphone. The YOLOv5 algorithm was used, which is known for its good speed and accuracy in object detection. This smartphone detection system can be controlled, so the application is adjustable to the needs of learning activities. Collecting a dataset, annotating, training objects, writing program code, and testing the system are all stages in the development of this system. The dataset used in this research consists of 1,038 smartphone images from the internet and camera-captured images. This detection system was built to assist teachers in monitoring the use of smartphones by students. The results of this model training are 77.7% mean average precision, 93.2% precision rate, and 71.7% recall rate under varying lighting conditions.

Abstract

Smoothly Shoescare is a shoe cleaning and maintenance service provider in Yogyakarta facing challenges in managing transaction data and service delivery. The data collection process is currently conducted manually, from filling out order forms via WhatsApp or customers visiting in person, to recording transaction data in physical books. This manual method leads to negative impacts such as redundancy, damage, and loss of customer and transaction data. Additionally, the ordering process through WhatsApp is time-consuming due to slow and accumulating chat confirmations. In the shoe pickup and delivery process, there is a problem with insufficient accessibility to customer addresses, causing delivery delays due to inaccurate location points. The application being developed is mobile-based for customers and web-based for service providers. In designing the application, the Unified Modelling Language (UML) method is used to visually represent the system design. The mobile application is built using the Flutter framework, while the system used by service providers employs the Next.js framework. The result of this research is an online-accessible shoe cleaning service application with features capable of addressing the issues faced by Smoothly Shoescare. This application can accurately determine pickup and delivery location points by utilizing Location Based Service technology.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah cara manajemen inventaris, khususnya di sektor farmasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem manajemen aplikasi inventaris obat berbasis Android untuk Apotek Aura Farma. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Analisis kebutuhan bertujuan memahami kebutuhan dasar apotek dalam mengelola inventaris. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, sistem dirancang dengan fungsionalitas utama seperti pencatatan stok obat, pembelian, penjualan, dan laporan inventaris. Desain antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif dipilih untuk memudahkan interaksi. Implementasi dilakukan di platform Android dengan database yang sesuai untuk menyimpan data. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui uji coba aplikasi di lingkungan nyata apotek. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini membantu mengelola inventaris secara efisien, meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan stok, dan mempercepat transaksi. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan manajemen inventaris di Apotek Aura Farma dan apotek lainnya.

Abstract

The grocery retail sector in Indonesia plays an important role in meeting people's basic needs, with grocery merchants in urban and rural areas serving as the main middlemen in the distribution of staples to end consumers. Grocery merchants in Indonesia often face challenges in improving sales efficiency due to the use of conventional methods that are slow, unstructured, and prone to recording errors. These challenges can potentially lead to loss of customers, financial losses, and hinder business growth. This research aims to develop an Android-based cashier application specifically designed for grocery merchants to improve transaction efficiency and stock management. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews were conducted to understand the needs and constraints faced by merchants in the transaction process. The findings were used to design the main features of the application, such as CRUD-based item management (Create, Read, Update, Delete), barcode scanning with a smartphone camera, digital receipt sending via WhatsApp, and payment support via QRIS E-wallet and cash transactions. This application is assumed to be used on Android devices with adequate internet access. The results show that this application is able to reduce recording errors, speed up transactions, and increase customer satisfaction compared to the manual method. The solution is expected to improve productivity, drive business growth, service quality and customer satisfaction as well as the competitiveness of grocers in the digital era. Future recommendations include the development of analytics features to monitor sales performance and support strategic decision-making.

Abstract

Budidaya pertanian tanaman hortikultura memiliki peran yang cukup besar dalam pembangunan ekonomi. Namun, masih terdapat kendala dan masalah yang terjadi pada pertanian hortikultura di Kelompok Tani Surya Hijau Kota Yogyakarta. Belum adanya informasi secara cepat mengenai kebutuhan pertanian yang digunakan, sehingga petani mengalami keterlambatan dalam proses penerimaan informasi mengenai obat tanaman hortikultura, penyakit tanaman hortikultura, dan harga pasar tanaman hortikultura. Selain itu, pengelolaan keuangan hasil penjualan tanaman dilakukan menggunakan cara pembukuan, sehingga sering terjadinya kelebihan pengeluaran dan memperlambat proses pencatatan keuangan hasil penjualan tanaman hortikultura. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membantu petani tanaman hortikultura dalam pengelolaan tanaman hortikultura dan pengelolaan keuangan petani dengan merancang sebuah aplikasi berbasis Android menggunakan metode Unified Modeling Language (UML). Aplikasi ini membantu dalam pengelolaan keuangan, memberikan informasi mengenai harga pasar tanaman hortikultura, obat tanaman hortikultura, dan penyakit tanaman hortikultura. Harapan dibuatnya aplikasi ini dapat berfungsi untuk memperlancar pengelolaan tanaman hortikultura pada Kelompok Tani Surya Hijau.
