Abstract

This research done as a mean to identifies species of Mikoriza Arbuskula and density found incombustible secondhand peat soil in town Pekanbaru, Riau. Determining the location of arandom sampling conducted at the location of burned peat that occurred in August 2009,the sites are located at: Arengka 2 kecamatan payung Sekaki street, Tuanku Tambusaikecamatan payung Sekaki street and Delima ujung kecamatan Tampan street. Every locationof observation is taken by 1 check with 3 times fairish restating 30x30 cm with depth of 15 cm assampling. Out of three combustible secondhand peat soil locations investigated, found 5 species ofMikoriza Arbuskula that is: Glomus proliferum, Glomus intraradices, Glomus sp. 1, Glomus sp. 2and Acaulospora tuberculata. Then species of Mikoriza Arbuskula having as of wide swampy forestcompared to other Mikoriza Arbuskula´s species is group from Genus Glomus. Because in generalGlomus very lenient to condition of extreme area.

Abstract

This research for destination to know quality well water in Pekanbaru city based on sum bacteria coilform fecaland coliform non fecal on July until December of 2007 in Biologi laboratory FKIP UNRI. Take sample carryout way purposive random sampling in all 12 subdistrict there are in Pekanbam city, are Sukajadi subdistrict,Tenayan Raya, Rumbai, Marpoyan Damai, Tampan, Bukit Raya, Rumbai pesisir, Pekanbaru city, Senapelan,Sail, Payung Sekaki and Lima Puluh. Every subdistrict decide 3 lacated, take sample well with judgmentdistance place/located well from resources pollution and activity society, is : Take well water from houses tolocated neared with market (0-500 m), take well water from houses located near with Siak River and Sail River(0-500 m) and take well water from house located far from marke and River (>500 m). Procedur researchconsist of: 1) stage production medium is medium is medium kaldu laktosa (lactosa broth) and medium brilliantgreen lactose bile broth (BGLBB), 2) investigation sample with test MPN (Most probable numbu)/JPT (totalapproximation neared). Data result research analysis like descriptive, based on standardization quality watergroup B about rules quality water group B about rules quality clean water by minister of public health regulationRI No. 416/minester of public health/Per/lx/1990. From result research can conclusion that well water inpekanbaru city be pregnant coliform fecal revolve between 4,7 cell bacteria/100 ml-26,7 cell bacteria/l00 ml andcoliform non fecal revolve between 49,7 cell bacteria/100 ml- 172.7 cell bacteria/l00 ml, untill well water inPekanbaru city quality less good for used as resources clean water because already pass by maximum fromwater group B.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to developed of biology learning device based curriculum 2013 on the topics of protists grade X senior high school. Learning device includes syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), student worksheet (LKS), authentic assessment, and learning media. Research conducted at the Campus Biology Education FKIP Riau University and a limited trial at SMAN Plus Riau Province on March – June 2015. The research used development research approach with ADDIE and through limited trial. Subjects this research consist of Basic Competence 3.5 and Basic Competence 4.5. The data collection instruments used were a validation sheet. Validation sheet assessed by internal and external validation. Validation sheet is filled for each learning device developed. The collected data were analyzed as descriptive statiscally. The average results of the validity of the learning device are 3.5 for lesson plan, 3.4 for student worksheet, 3.4 for written assessment, 3.4 for attitude assessment, 3.5 for performance assessment, 3.5 for product assessment, 3.5 for project assessment, 3.6 for self-assessment, 3.5 for portfolio assessment and 3.3 for learning media. Next step is limited trial using a questionnaires student worksheet, a written test questions, and self-assessment are tried on class X MS3 SMAN Plus Riau Province with 24 students. From the results of the validation can be concluded that the development of the curriculum-based learning biology in 2013 on the topic protists can already be implemented through field trials. Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to development of biology learning device based curriculum 2013 in the excretion system topic class XI senior high school. Biology learning device delevoped include syllabus, lesson plan, student worksheet, authentic assessment, and learning media. Development process conducted at the Campus Biology Education FKIP Riau University and limited trial at SMAN Plus Riau Province on March – June 2015. This research used Research and Development approach with ADDIE models which is conducted to implementation by limited trial. Subject this research consist of Basic Competence 3.9 contained in class XI SMA. The data collection instruments used were the validation sheet. This validation sheet filled by internal validator and external validator. The collected data were statistically analyzed descriptive. The results of validity learning device are valid for lesson plan, worksheets, written assessment, and learning media and very valid for attitude assessment, performance assessment, product assessment, project assessment, self-assessment and portfolio assessment. The results of limited trial to the LKS, written tests, and self-assessment are tested on XI.MS.1 class SMAN Plus Riau province with the number of students as many as 21 people were good and excellent. From the results of the validation study it can be concluded that the device developed Biology potentially can be implemented through field trials. Abstract

Abstrak There was conducted Class Action Research which purpose is to increase 21st century skill on Basic Microbiology course by applying Discovery Learning learning strategy. This research took 6 months to conduct, from September 2014 to February 2015 and whose subjects are 20 college students of Biology Education Program in Academic Year of 2014/2015. The instrument of this research are syllabus, course’s curriculum, student worksheets, post test, daily test, and 21st century skill’s observation sheet. Result of the research discovered that the application of Discovery Learning learning strategy is able to increase students’s 21st century skill. It shown by the raising of the 21st century skill score’s mean from the first cycle within 86,38% to 90% in the second cycle.Keywords : Discovery Learning, 21st Century Skill, Basic Microbiolog

Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to determine the students learning outcome of science by directly applying the learning model. This research was done in class VII SMP Negeri 2 Batu Hampar March to April 2016 the academic year 2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collected in this study is the result of learning students consisting of absorption, mastery learning, student activities and teacher's activities. Data were collected using tests and observation sheet. The results showed that the student’s learning outcomes comprise absorption in the first cycle is 78.75% (enough) increased in the second cycle is 81.73% (good), mastery of students in the first cycle that 87.50% (complete category) increased in the second cycle of 100% (category complete), the activity of students in the first cycle is 87.88% (good) increased in the second cycle is 90.63% (excellent), the activities of teachers in the first cycle is 87.50%, ( good) increased in the second cycle of 100% (excellent). It can be concluded that the application of direct learning model can improve learning outcomes IPA class VII SMP Negeri 2 Batu Hampar the academic year 2015/2016.Keywords: Direct Learning, Learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari isolasi dan  identifikasi bakteri hidrokarbonoklastik. Bakteri hidrokabonoklastik diisolasi dari limbah cair yang terkontaminasi  minyak bumi di daerah benar Parit Malingtang Rokan Hilir. Sampel  limbah cair minyak bumibakteri hidrokarbonoklastik diambil secara purposive random sampling.Isolasi dan identifikasi .bakteri hidrokarbonoklastik diisolasi dari  air limbah cair yang terkontaminasi minyak bumi dan dibiakkan pada media padat Stone Mineral Salt Solution Extract Yeast (SMSSe) dengan penambahan minyak bumi mentah sebagai media selektif. Koloni bakteri yang didapatkan diinkubasikan pada temperatur 28-300C selama 24-48 jam dan diidentifikasi dengan pengamatan makroskopik, mikroskopik dan uji biokimia untuk memastikan bahwa bakteri yang diidentifikasi adalah bakteri minyak bumi. Hasil penelitian  di temukan   3 genus bakteri yaitu Enterobacter, Pseudomonas dan Klebsiella Kata Kunci:Identifikasi, Media SMSSe, Uji biokimia.

Abstract

Abstract: Limitations on the material used in learning there needs to be a development of teaching materials which one of them is in the form of learning module. The purpose of this research is to develop learning module based scientific approach to improved the skills of critical thinking of students to the matter fungi a class X. Of research in successor program study education biology of PMIPA FKIP University of Riau and SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in February-May 2016. The kind of research this is research of development by use the model ADDIE was done to the stages of development. An instrument data collection in this research is sheets of assessment/validation modules, students chief response and sheets of the answer students. After module developed, we do testing I in 15 students second semester education biology FKIP UR. Next validated by 4 people validator and testing II in 20 people school tuition class x in SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The results of validation show a score a whole module obtain the average score 4.14 to a category valid. Consisting of the aspect of content that served with the average score 4.19 category valid, aspects language score was obtained 4.12 to a category valid, next on the aspect of cereal offering have a score 4.15 category valid and facets kegrafisan obtain the average score 4.12 category valid. The results of testing I shows the average value 90 to a category very good. The results of testing II show a score rerata successive is 81 and 80 to a category good. The results of the analysis answer school tuition in learning module 1 shows value 78 category good. Learning module based scientific approach can improved the skills of critical thinking of students and useful for used in learning.Keywords: development, Module, Scientific, Critical thinking, Fungi

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted in May and June 2016. The study was carried out by two stages. Phase I of making yoghurt breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) with the method used in this study is the experimental method. Making yogurt breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) begins with the stage of pasteurization, refrigeration, innokulasi and incubation. The parameters in this study include lactic acid levels, pH and protein content. UHT milk 20ml Extra showed significant gains against the yoghurt breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) with a mean of 0.96% lactic acid levels, pH 3.8 and the protein content of 6.36%. Phase II is the stage of designing the module by analyzing the curriculum in 2013, KD and Syllabus. The analysis showed that KD potential in the design of conventional modules on biotechnology in the field of food was KD 3:10.Key Words: Lactic acid bacteria, UHT milk, breadfruit, Modules

Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to determine the isolation and identification of bacteria petroleum waste Sungai Duku port city of Pekanbaru and its potential as a learning module design in senior high school biology in Juny to September 2016. This researchy was conducted two phases: the field research and planning stages of learning modules. This research is descriptive and conducted by examination in the laboratory. The sampling technique in this study, done by using purposive sampling method. The results showed that the isolated bacteria were found in the waters of the Sungai Duku port city of Pekanbaru consists of five genera namely Enterobacter, Acinetobacter, Citrobacter, Klebsiella, and Bacillus. Based on the analysis of the potential of the research results can be used as a module designed on eubacteria concept for senior high school students.
