Abstract

On January 2021 rain often splashing Malang City with intensity high and deep period a long time, so some areas experience flood. BMKG is an Indonesian official institution in charge to give information forecast weather good through online media nor offline. However, they do not give specific information about real-time location weather. This study aims to make it easy for user in accept information on bulk rain, water level, wind speed and temperature as effort to prevent flood. This study proposed prototype using bulk sensor rain, water level, wind speed and temperature as well as using ESP32 as microcontroller with monitoring via android. This tool could put in general place or in a vulnerable flood area. Results show that sending data from ESP32 microcontroller to firebase database is successful sent through "AVRO POLINEMA" Wi-Fi connection. QoS performance between ESP32 to Firebase shows throughput = 7.076368 Kb / s (poor), packet loss = 0.5% (very good), delay = 250,582 s (good), jitter = 0.0299139 ms (good) and between Application to Firebase got results throughput = 32.24112 (medium), packet loss = 0.4% (very good), delay = 118.009 ms (very good), jitter = 0.0903578947 ms (good).

Abstract

Along with the times and technology, the need for fast information is needed in various sectors of life, thus supporting the performance of these sectors, one of which is the security aspect, especially in security at home, considering that there are many things that happen such as crimes and negligence of residents of the house that can cause problems such as fires. In this case, a system is needed that can visually monitor the condition of the room from remote location. This is useful for the surveillance process so that if there is a crime and fire in the surveillance room, the system can monitor the state of a room via a smartphone. This study aims to create a device that is able to increase the security of the room at home by utilizing the Esp32 cam as a microcontroller and the PIR sensor as a detector of movement when crossing the corner area of the sensor and also the Fire sensor key as a detector of fire. In this study, the ESP32 cam is used as the main brain of the system which will read data from the fire sensor, PIR sensor, and remotely control the door lock and door unlock. The data from the sensor will be sent to the server by Esp32 cam. The test results have been running in accordance with the designed system. So that pictures taken and notifications of fire can be sent to the telegram application with a 100% success percentage.

Abstract

Many types of antennas can be used for digital TV receivers; in this article we try to design a double biquad antenna. This is due to a simple form, easy to make, a wide beamwidth. In designing a digital TV receiver for the Malang area, an STB device is needed, so that analog TV can still receive digital TV broadcasts. In this study, the antenna is made of copper wire, each side length: ¼ ? , with a working frequency: 650 MHz. In order to match the impedance of the 75? coaxial cable with the antenna, a  balun 4:1 is required. The research place is in the Polinema Telecommunications laboratory. The test results show that the lowest return loss (RL) occurs at a frequency of F=605 MHz, namely RL: -17.8 dB, for a frequency of F=650 MHz, the magnitude of RL: -11.3 dB. The large VSWR antenna at the working frequency F: 650 MHz is 1.46. So that it can be said that it has fulfilled the antenna parameters, namely VSWR < 2. It means that there is a power loss of less than 10%. The largest antenna gain occurs at a frequency: 400 MHz namely: 14.85 dB,. While the average gain of the antenna is 2.21 dB. The antenna radiation pattern is omni directional. The double biquad antenna is very good for use as a digital TV receiver for the Greater Malang area, either without using a reflector or with a reflector.

Abstract

Antlion habitat that breeders create currently does not use a system that can protect the habitat from changes in temperature and humidity. In addition, when they are about to be sold, breeders filter and sort the antlion one by one. Therefore, a system is made that can monitor and control changes in temperature and humidity as well as harvesting automatically through the application. This system is designed using a wireless sensor network with temperature and humidity sensors DHT22, IR MLX90614 with soft actuators and mist makers as well as loadcell sensors to trigger off the sieving motor connected to the Firebase database and interface Flutter application. Based on the results of testing the accuracy of temperature, humidity, infrared, and loadcell sensor readings, respectively, they are 98.07, 97.58%, 98.38%, and 98.78% with an average delay of 216,97ms can maintain temperature changes in the range 24-30? and humidity in the range 70-80% stably. And the average value of harvest time is 30.37 seconds with an average decrease in sand load of 56.7 grams when the harvesting mechanism is running.

Abstract

A key is a tool made of metal to open or fasten a door or object that has a lock by inserting it into the hole in the main key. The lock itself is usually used on doors, suitcases, or other objects that require security. The lock on the suitcase itself still has a slight variation and there are still weaknesses, for example the code lock if you forget it cannot be opened, then the padlock and slot lock if the key is lost cannot be opened and can still be broken into by lockpick. The type of research carried out is included in the type of research and development (Research and Development). So, from these problems, a system will be designed and built that can monitor and maximize security automatically so that user's goods are protected from crime or theft by utilizing Near Field Communication (NFC), Global Positioning System (GPS), Magnetic Sensors and Microcontrollers. This system is made portable, so that it can be used in various goods with certain conditions, for example suitcases. The results of this research are portable lock tools, and applications that can integrate lock tools in real time. From the test results obtained accuracy on the gps key, and the security system can run according to the program.

Abstract

Currently, goat farming is one of the fastest growing businesses. Developments that occur include buying and selling that can be done through e-commerce available on digital media. E-commerce can increase sales from goat breeders through complete descriptions and goat productivity. Based on the description above, it is necessary tools and systems that can help increase the productivity of goat farmers. The method used is to carry out the process of weighing goats using loadcell, measuring goat body temperatures using MLX614 temperature sensors, and RFID sensors used to detect goat ID, goat type, and weighing time. In addition, it also uses Arduino as a microcontroller and raspberry pi as a server. There are sensor nodes and server nodes where data will be sent from the arduino uno sensor server node raspberry pi 3RF24L01. Communication technique is client server designed for communication between the client node and the server so that error the data transmission smaller. The results of testing tools and systems include testing the accuracy of sensors having several sensor values ??such as RFID, Loadcell and temperature sensors MLX90614 with several points, namely for RFID itself it is concluded that the success rate is read 100%, for the accuracy level of the loadcell sensor with a comparison of some of the scales carried out 10, the average error was 0.77% and the testing accuracy of the MLX90614 temperature sensor with a thermogun comparison, the average error value before calibration was 7.565%, while after calibration, the average error value was 0.507%.
