Abstract

Absensi mahasiswa merupakan salah satu hal penting dalam perkuliahan. Absensi mahasiswa dengan sistem manual dapat menimbulkan masalah dalam proses pencatatan kehadiran mahasiswa. Beberapa masalah yang terjadi seperti, mahasiswa sering memanfaatkan kondisi dengan bekerjasama antara teman dalam melakukan kecurangan. Menyikapi permasalahan tersebut, penggunaan pemindai sidik jari (fingerprint) diperlukan untuk pencatatan kehadiran mahasiswa sehingga tidak dapat dimanipulasi. Perancangan absensi mahasiswa dengan menggunakan pemindai sidik jari menggunakan sensor fingerprint scanner ZFM-20 dan keluaran dari sensor tersebut diproses dalam raspberry pi. Keluaran dari raspberry pi ditampilkan pada LCD yang terhubung ke raspberry pi. Tampilan keluaran juga ditampilkan pada ponsel pintar dan web dengan menggunakan Internet of Things (IoT). Pada ponsel pintar dan web digunakan aplikasi untuk menampilkan absensi mahasiswa. Pada aplikasi terdapat kolom Keterangan yang menandakan kehadiran dari mahasiswa. Apabila mahasiswa melakukan absensi tepat waktu atau sebelum batas waktu yang telah ditentukan maka dinyatakan “Hadir” dalam kelas. Apabila mahasiswa yang telah melewati batas waktu yang telah ditentukan dan yang tidak masuk perkuliahan maka dinyatakan “Tidak Hadir”. Kolom Total Kehadiran merupakan rekap kehadiran mahasiswa dalam 1 semester. Total seluruh kehadiran adalah 14 pertemuan dalam 1 semester. Total kehadiran ini ditampilkan pada LCD, aplikasi pada ponsel pintar dan web.

Abstract

Moncongloe District is an area with a relatively high population growth rate and distribution of housing, especially formal housing. This condition has implications for the tendency of increasing problems related to the carrying capacity of the environment and the suitability of land functions in the area. Therefore, it is necessary to harmonize the development of formal housing with the carrying capacity of the environment so that the negative impact of the phenomenon of formal housing development in this area can be avoided. The purpose of this study is to analyze the environmental carrying capacity of the development of formal housing for the prediction of the next 20 years. The analytical method used is a combined method of qualitative and quantitative analysis with a focus on the study of population projections, land availability and needs, and the carrying capacity of residential land. The results showed that the population in Moncongloe District in 2021 was 23,738 people, while the projected population in 2041 was 46,779 people, which means an increase of 97.06%. The results of the analysis of land availability show that 50% of the area of Moncongloe District is recommended for the development of residential land, including formal housing. The value of the carrying capacity of residential land (DDPm) in Moncongloe District in 2021 is 20.7 while in 2041 it is 20 so it can be concluded that the environmental carrying capacity in Moncongloe District can still accommodate the development of settlements for the next 20 years.

Abstract

This study attempts to predict future landslide occurrence at watershed scale and calculate the potency of landslide for each sub-watershed at Lompobatang Mountain. In order to produce landslide susceptibility map (LSM) using the statistical model on the watershed scale, we identified the landslide with landslide inventories that occurred in the past, and predict the prospective future landslide occurrence by correlating it with landslide causal factors. In this study, six parameters were used namely, distance from fault, slope, aspect, curvature, distance from river and land use. This research proposed the weight of evidence (WoE) model to produce a landslide susceptibility map. Success and predictive rate were also used to evaluate the accuracy by using Area under curve (AUC) of Receiver operating characteristic (ROC). The result is useful for land use planner and decision makers, in order to devise a strategy for disaster mitigation.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk yang sangat cepat disertai dengan peningkatan pendapatan per kapita masyarakat telah mengakibatkan kebutuhan lahan semakin meningkat. Namun, karena persediaan lahan terbatas maka terjadilah alih fungsi lahan. Permasalahan umum disebabkan dari jumlah penduduk yang terus bertambah, kondisi geografis, dan topografi wilayah serta strategi pengembangan Nasional dan Provinsi maka perubahan lahan terjadi secara cepat setiap tahunnya, khususnya di wilayah hinterland dan wilayah pesisir pantai kota Makassar. Penelitian ini membahas untuk pengembangan prediksi perubahan penggunaan lahan pada tahun 2034 menggunakan metode Celular Automata Markov (CA-Markov). Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Menggunakan aplikasi ArcMap 10.3 dan Idris Selva 17.0 analisis prediksi perubahan lahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Luas penggunaan lahan yang mengalami peningkatan yaitu lahan terbangun dan laut dengan luas masing-masing 262,39 Ha dan 9,31 Ha. Sedangkan luas perubahan penggunaan lahan yang mengalami penyusutan adalah lahan kosong tambak, pertanian dan tubuh air yaitu masing-masing sebesar 64,69 Ha, 4,92 Ha, 36,19 Ha dan 55,64 Ha.

Abstract

Wajo Regency is one of the districts that have a role in the development and progress of South Sulawesi Province. Therefore, agricultural production facilities will be developed through processing mechanisms to the creative industries. Irrigation will be directed at the development of large-scale and small-scale rural irrigation through artificial embankments, revitalization of swamps and lakes. Whereas in urban areas a residential environment will be held an adjustment, especially near the of Lake Tempe in the area of ​​Sengkang as the Capital of Wajo Regency. The purpose of this study is to find easy access for the community to drinking water and to provide accurate data related to Geographic Information System (GIS)-based regional location conditions. The approach used in this activity is a field survey related to the existing condition of the location by assisting the community, increasing knowledge by training or counseling aimed at solving existing problems in the village / subdistrict in Tempe Subdistrict, Wajo Regency, as well as training and utilizing digital databases related to the profile and potential of the city. The results of the study obtained were that some districts had several problems, namely, solid waste systems, road networks, inadequate buildings and inadequate clean water especially in Attakae, Maddukelleng, Pattirosompe and Tempe. However, there is potential that can be developed to improve the regional economy, such as the silk industry and wood industry.

Abstract

Maps are presented to provide information in the form of boundaries, facilities, buildings, land use and roads. Regional boundaries are one element of the village map so that it needs to be mapped in detail as a document in development planning. Enrekang Regency, which has a majority of its elders as protected areas, is still very limited in the ownership of mapping documents. The community still does not have knowledge about this mapping so that the problem of regional boundaries, regional boundaries and land use limits is still a trigger for problems in the community. Participatory mapping is a method that is needed in order to provide spatial information so that the mapping process and the resulting map are aimed at the interests of the community. In this case, counseling and mentoring activities are the beginning of the development of competence and capacity for the community in making mapping documents in Enrekang District. It is expected that this community service activity will continue in partnership activities between Unhas and the Enrekang District Government, both in training, formal education in regional and city development master programs, and assistance in planning and implementing the development of Enrekang Regency, in line with the tridharma activities of higher education.

Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia consists of various types of tourist objects which until now have become the main attraction for both domestic and foreign tourists. A tourist area needs its own arrangement so that tourists can be interested in visiting that location. The arrangement of a strategic and attractive area to become a tourist destination has been found in many regions. Most of these locations are arranged based on the wishes and expectations of the people who live in the area. The importance of the role of local communities in the development of sustainable tourism destinations has encouraged the emergence of new trends in community-based tourism development. This is also done in the area of ​​Lakkang Village, which is one of the locations that has tourism potential in Makassar City. This research aims to explain the arrangement of the Lakkang area into a tourist area based on a community perspective. Data collection techniques are carried out by observing the existing area, reviewing data or documents related to the area and interviews conducted in Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities with the community in the Lakkang delta area. The analysis technique of this research uses descriptive qualitative and spatial analysis. The results of this study indicate the existing tourism potential in the Lakkang delta, as well as the use of the ecotourism concept as a concept that can benefit not only the community but also the preservation of the tourist area in Lakkang village.

Abstract

Perumnas Manggala or known as Perumnas Antang Block 10 is one of the housing and settlement areas that are prone to flooding. The purpose of this community service activity is to socialize flood disaster management by first identifying the characteristics of the causes of flooding and developing a concept with the community regarding flood management in residential areas. Methods of implementing community service. The data collection techniques are observation, documentation, and interviews, while the data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative, and spatial analysis. The data collected is used in drafting the concept of flood management in the form of socialization and discussions with the community, community leaders, and the academic community. The results of service activities are in the form of the concept of flood management through preventive efforts to minimize flood disasters at Perumnas Antang Block 10, namely making infiltration wells, planting vegetation, managing drainage and waste systems. Adaptive and curative efforts are in the form of developing disaster response groups as preparation management in dealing with disasters that routinely occur every year. The results of the socialization show a significant level of change by the community where the level of interest in community participation and understanding of the concept of flood management increases. The community actively participates in discussions and expresses its willingness to participate in disaster mitigation activities. The discussion also showed that the community had high hopes for government assistance, both morally and materially, as well as disaster response training.

Abstract

Street vendors are one type of informal sector work that is very vulnerable to being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. It also felt by street vendors in the Makassar Losari Beach Pavilion area. The condition of street vendors on the one hand is in contact with the lower middle class and has a relatively small business scale. Besides, organized and planned PKL activities will be able to adapt to pandemic conditions and have a positive impact on the city's local economy and support the government in providing employment. This service activity aims to present ideas for the concept of structuring street vendors that are resilient to pandemics and educating traders about the application of health protocols in the work environment of street vendors. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation, interviews, through a stakeholder approach. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative analysis. The data collected is used in arrange the concept of structuring street vendors that are resilient to pandemics, sharing, and transferring knowledge to street vendors in the form of Focus Group Discussions (FGD) accompanied by video playback of planning concept arrangements and education on the application of health protocols. The results of service activities in the form of the concept of structuring street vendors include the arrangement of stalls, tables and chairs, repair of clean water networks, provision of hand washing facilities, trash cans, garbage containers, and waste disposal schemes, as well as socializing the importance of implementing health protocols for traders and visitors.

Abstract

Kawasan industri di tepi air bertujuan meningkatkan perekonomian kota dengan pendekatan keekonomian di area tepi air. Perubahan tersebut memiliki dampak pencemaran lingkungan, sengketa kepemilikan lahan, keterbatasan akses masyarakat terhadap tepi pantai dan perubahan sosial masyarakat. Saat ini keberlanjutan kawasan industri ditepi air belum mampu dinilai dan diukur berdasarkan indeks keberlanjutan yang sudah ada. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merumuskan indikator indeks kawasan industri tepi air yang mampu mengukur keberlanjutan kawasan industri ditepi air dari pilar utama aspek keberlanjutan yaitu sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan. Penelitian dimulai dengan mengkaji indeks yang ada untuk menilai keberlanjutan, kemudian mengevaluasi indeks tersebut dengan pemilihan kriteria aspek ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan, dilanjutkan dengan metode analisis Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)  dan expert choice dari data primer kuesioner para ahli perkotaan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rumusan indeks keberlanjutan IKKITA yang terdiri dari sembilan indikator dan bobot penilaian  dari tiga aspek pilar utama keberlanjutan  aspek sosial; koefisine GINI (0.326), ketersediaan sumber air PDAM (0.260), tingkat penggangguran setiap tahun dari Angkatan kerja (0.171), kemudian pada aspek ekonomi; kerapatan bangunan permukiman (0.257), taraf kehidupan hunian (0.205), ketersedaiaan transportasi publik (0.183), dan pada aspek lingkungan; ketersediaan konservasi air (0.269), rata rata ruang terbuka hijau (0.227), jarak dari lingkungan sensitive atau hutan lindung (0.159).
