Abstract

IMPROVEMENT OF MATHEMATIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR PGSD STUDENTS THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF CIRC LEARNING MODELSMathematical communication skills are very important to be mastered by a prospective teacher. Without this ability it is impossible for him to be able to guide his students, especially in mathematics. In addition, they also have to teach their students mathematical communication skills. However, the data prove that students' communication skills are still low. They are not yet able to express their ideas orally or in writing. This study aims to see if there are differences in communication skills through the application of the CIRC learning model with the conventional learning model. The method used is a two-class quasi experiment. The instrument used is a test description which requires answers that show mathematical communication skills. Data analysis was performed by testing the hypothesis using statistical techniques t test. For the real level of 5% or 0.05 with the value dk = (n1 + n2 - 2) = 47, then the t table shows the number 2.01174. From the t test carried out, it was obtained t_ (count) of 6,527. Because t_ (count) ttable, H_ad is accepted and H_ (0) is rejected. So it can be concluded that there are differences in students' communication skills through the application of the CIRC model with conventional learning models. The CIRC Learning Model is considered to be better in improving student communication skills

Abstract

The general school curriculum has not fully provided the concept of learning for children with special needs such as for children with learning disabilities. E-books are teaching materials as assistive technology, specially designed for students with learning disabilities. The aims of this study developing teaching materials in the form of e-books as learning aids for children with learning disabilities. This study is carried out base on the needs and learning styles of students. The subjects in this study consisted of expert testing and limited product user testing, in this case students. The sample selection of the test subjects was carried out by purposive sampling. Therefore, the research and development (R&D) approach was used in this study. The model developed using ADDIE. The expert validation stage is carried out on curriculum experts, media, and education practitioners. The trial was carried out on students at various levels, (1, 3, 5, and 7) with a total of 25 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results showed that the development of assistive technology for e-books with the basic concept of art received a good response, was understandable, looked attractive, and was effective or feasible to use. Students achieve a better level of socialization, successfully achieved most of the lesson plan program goals such as motor, speech, language, reading, writing and memory development.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada siswa kelas IV melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kadumanggu 03 Kecamatan Babakanmadang Kabupaten Bogor yang terdiri dari 30 siswa, dengan komposisi 13 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dua siklus, pada siklus satu dan siklus dua terdiri dari empat tindakan utama yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan penilaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 62,9, siklus II 86,125, sudah melampaui indikator keberhasilan 81. Perubahan sikap siswa siklus I 49,46, siklus II 90,46, sudah melampaui indikator keberhasilan 81. Perubahan keterampilan siswa siklus I 60,13, siklus II 86,13, sudah melampaui indikator keberhasilan 81. Begitu pula dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus I mencapai 37%, siklus II 87%, sudah melampaui KKM 70. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kadumanggu 03 Kecamatan Babakanmadang Kabupaten Bogor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of grade 4 students infractions through Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). This research was conducted at SDN Cilendek Timur 2 Bogor, Indonesia. The research method used is Classroom Actionresearch with Kemmis and Taggart model, which consists of planning, action, observation,and reflection. This study consists of three cycles. The percentage of students whoachieved fraction score more than or equal to 70 in the first Cycle was 12.5%, in thesecond Cycle was 56.5%, and in the third Cycle was 92%. The activities of teachers andstudents in accordance with the learning steps with RME reach 92.5% at the end of CycleIII. So it can be concluded that RME can improve student learning outcomes in fractions.Also, RME increased students mathematics attitudes

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of PGSD students in geometry courses through the implementation of the 7E cycle learning model with the use of computer-generated concept maps. This research was conducted by Classroom Action Research Method (PTK) Kemmis and Taggart model, consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Instruments used in the form of tests to create a concept map of the material that has been studied, and non-test in the form of: interviews, observation sheet (checklist), and field notes. The criteria of success in this study is that all students get a minimum value of B. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes from one cycle to the next cycle always increased. In cycle 1, the number of students who got A score of 31%. In the second cycle increased to 52%. While the number of B values ​​obtained by students in cycle I to cycle II also increased, from 22% to 26%. Although it continues to increase, in cycle II there are still students who get the value of C, so the research continued on cycle III. In the third cycle there is no more students who get the value of C. From this study can be concluded that the implementation of the 7E cycle learning model through the use of computer-based concept map can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of PGSD students in geometry courses. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the situation of the learning process by using the tube-assisted recitation method and knowing the ability of students to create learning media through you tube assisted recitation learning methods can develop. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The subjects of this study were 5th semester students, PGSD FKIP Pakuan University. The instruments used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that you tube assisted recitation method can improve student independence, motivation to display the best, creativity and self-confidence of students in making learning media in elementary school. But there needs to be an emphasis on the importance of involving IT and the importance of including a reference list.

Abstract

This study aims to produce flipbook teaching materials for theme 2, subtheme 2, the benefits of learning energy 1 in class IV at SDN Semplak 1 and to determine the feasibility of flipbook teaching materials. This development uses the ADDIE model. The research begins with a needs analysis, making a design, developing a flipbook teaching material design, then being validated by experts, revising the product, and conducting a limited trial (implementation). The total average value of the validation results of material, media, and language experts shows that flipbook teaching materials are very feasible to use with an average acquisition percentage of 91.90%. In the limited test stage, 29 students gave a very good response to the flipbook teaching materials used. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that this flipbook teaching material was tested, interesting and very suitable for students to use for learning.

Abstract

Analysis of Achieving Student Learning Styles. Qualitative research with a case study approach. Thesis of Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pakuan University, Bogor, 2020. Aims to identify the dominant learning style possessed by an outstanding student at SDN Semeru 1 Bogor City named Muhammdan Rafa Setiawan and what factors affect the student's achievement. This type of research is qualitative with the case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that students were less reactive to sound, easy to focus, quicker to understand new information by looking at it, were able to sit quietly during the lesson, answered verbal questions briefly to the point and liked learning activities by reading so it could be concluded that the dominant learning style the subject has, namely the visual learning style. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the subject's achievement are the presence of interest and high motivation to learn, have an unyielding and resilient attitude and support from the subject's teachers and parents.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to improve the learning outcome of mathematics on fraction through the application of realistic approach. The research was conducted to 24 students of the fourth grade at SDN Cilendek Timur 2 Bogor. The research method employed was Classroom Action Research with the model Kemmis and Taggart which consists of four steps: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research was undergone in three cycles. The result research shows that there is improvement of the learning result on fraction. In the first cycle, the percentage of students getting the score of 70 or higher was 12.5%, in the second cycle, it reached 56.5%, and in the third cycle it was 92%. The students and teacher’s activities were in accordance with realistic approach reaching 92.5% at the end of the third cycle. Therefore, it can be inferred that the application of realistic approach is able to improve students’ learning outcome on fraction. Thus it is recommended that teachers use realistic approach as one of the alternatives to teach mathematics, especially on fraction.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing students' learning difficulties in mathematics. Located at the Neglasari State Elementary School, Bogor City, it was held in the even semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year. In this research, the writer uses qualitative research with descriptive method. The data collection procedure was carried out by triangulation, namely a combination of the results of observations (observations), interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by reducing irrelevant data, presenting data systematically, and drawing conclusions from research findings. The results showed that the learning difficulties experienced by students in mathematics subjects were difficulties in understanding concepts, difficulties in understanding mathematical language, difficulties in calculations and difficulties in solving problems. It can be concluded that students still have difficulty learning in mathematics. The solution is that students must get the right treatment, with the efforts of teachers who are also supported by their parents, as well as the enthusiasm and motivation of students to improve their numeracy skills.
