Abstract

This study aims to examine servant leadership as a differentiator in Indonesian regional development bank. It investigates the role of Human Resource (HR) leaders as a differentiator to leverage performance. The methodology used is a soft system methodology-based action research (SSM-AR). This qualitative study was conducted at South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung Regional Development Bank (Bank BSB). The findings provide a challenge to maintain sustainable growth and performance improvement services to customers. According to servant leadership theory this research gives an alternative leadership model for regional development bank. In facing global business context, this model gives the bank competitiveness to respond dynamic market that it serves, including for customers, competitors, and supplier trends.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relevance between blended learning and students' independent learning curriculum in the digital age. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to gather and analyze data from diverse participants. Multiple data collection techniques were utilized to ensure a comprehensive and in-depth exploration of the research topic. The sample included teachers from different educational levels, students with varying academic backgrounds, and educational administrators with experience in curriculum development and implementation. Procedures Data analysis involved several iterative steps. Based on the research results, it was found that a strong connection between blended learning and promoting independent learning skills among students. Challenges were identified in effectively incorporating an independent learning curriculum within the blended learning environment. The study highlighted the importance of teacher support, collaborative opportunities, and access to Technology and resources in enhancing the effectiveness of blended learning and independent learning practices. These findings contribute to the ongoing discourse on digital-age education and provide insights for educators and policymakers in designing practical instructional approaches that empower students' independent learning skills in the digital era.

Abstract

Bogor khususnya daerah Tajur terkenal dengan industri tas dan telah menjadi ajang bisnis tas yang kompetitif. Persaingan ketat telah terjadi di antara pengusaha tas. Salah satunya adalah Sumber Karya Indah (SKI) atau yang dikenal dengan Sentra Tas Tajur. Sentra Tas Tajur mempunyai pabrik sendiri dalam memproduksi tas. Seiring waktu Sentra Tas Tajur memperlebar usahanya tidak hanya tas seperti sandal, ikat pinggang, dan baju. Penjualan dan perputaran uang di SKI sudah besar namun setelah ditelusuri SKI Bogor ini belum mempunyai laporan keuangan yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan Standar Akuntansi yaitu PSAK yang harus diterapkan di Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil kunjungan pengabdian ini, penyuluhan secara sederhana tentang pembuatan laporan keuangan telah diberikan. Hal ini bertujuan agar bagian keuangan Sentra Tas Tajur dapat menyesuaikan laporan keuangannya dengan Prinsip Akuntansi Berterima Umum (PABU). Hal ini dikarenakan Sentra Tas Tajur Bogor sudah berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) walaupun belum go public.

Abstract

Employee satisfaction is something that companies should pay close attention to because when the company provides job satisfaction, employees are ensured to give their best to the company. This study is a descriptive quantitative type. The research was conducted at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Tapaktuan. The data used in this study are primary data. The population in this study consisted of all employees of PT. Pos Indonesia Tapaktuan, totaling 32 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS software. The tests conducted in this study include validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, multiple linear regression testing, hypothesis testing (t and f), and determinant testing. The results of the study indicate that the work environment partially influences employee satisfaction, work discipline partially influences employee satisfaction, motivation partially influences employee job satisfaction and work environment, work discipline, motivation collectively influence employee job satisfaction at PT. Pos Indonesia Tapaktuan.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the strategic role of HRM in selecting and marketing HR as a key asset for the company's success. The research focuses on how HRM can find and recruit talent that fits the organization's needs amid tough business competition. HR selection based on technical competence, behavior, and alignment with corporate values is seen as a crucial first step in building a strong resource foundation. Also, talent marketing strategies are important in a competitive job market. They include employer branding, career development, and employee engagement initiatives. They help attract and retain top talent. This study uses a qualitative approach to understand the processes and strategies that companies implement in HR selection and marketing. We collected data through in-depth interviews with HR managers. They were from five multinational companies in tech, manufacturing, and services. Also, watching the recruitment and training gave insights into the companies' internal dynamics and best practices. Document analysis such as recruitment policies, annual reports, and HR marketing strategies were also used to enrich the research data. The results show that a competency-based HR selection strategy. It improves recruitment and ensures new hires have the right skills to support the company's goals. On the other hand, integrated HR marketing has benefits. It boosts the company's image as an ideal workplace (employer branding). It also provides career development. This approach has increased the company's appeal to talent and strengthened employee loyalty. This approach significantly enhances a company's competitiveness in the global labor market.

Abstract

This activity involves cooperation with various parties, including correctional officers, professionals in the field of Education and the Government in this case the Ministry of Education, Research and Technology in the field of Community-Based Empowerment. Through this community service activity, it is expected that correctional officers can improve their capacity and welfare through various professional and personal development programs. This program is designed to support the effectiveness of officers' work and their work-life balance. In this training, it is explained how Service Excellence and Managerial Skills can be carried out. This training was delivered to officers in the service sector totaling 30 people who are ASN Salemba Prison. Participants are 25-33 years old with a Bachelor's degree in Law, Education, Economics and Social. Male participants 60% and female 40%. Among the participants were 2 structural officials. Preparation for the implementation was carried out in two meetings. The first meeting discussed the event rundown, division of tasks for each lecturer, provision of materials and preparation of questions to be asked to participants, availability of supporting equipment to make it easier for Prison 2A officers to listen to presentations from the Perbanas Institute. The second meeting involved the head of the Salemba Class IIA Prison who discussed the revised material and adjusted it to the situation at the Salemba Class IIA Prison. This Community Service Activity was carried out on Thursday, August 22, 2024 face-to-face and the material provided was about how IIA Prison officers provide the best service, improve employee managerial skills, and provide solutions to obstacles and results obtained from the situations discussed previously. The implementation went smoothly according to the predetermined schedule, the speakers delivered their materials according to the prepared concept, namely regarding service excellence and managerial skills.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores the impact of interactive learning methods on student motivation and achievement in elementary schools. Through observations, interviews, and document analysis, the research investigates how interactive strategies such as collaborative projects, gamification, and technology-enhanced activities influence students' engagement and academic outcomes. The findings reveal that interactive learning fosters a more engaging and stimulating educational environment, leading to increased student motivation and improved academic performance. The study highlights the importance of incorporating interactive methods into elementary school curricula to enhance the overall learning experience and promote student success.

Abstract

This study explores innovation in Human Resource Management (HRM) in the tourism industry through bibliometric analysis. Using 70 relevant articles published between 2020 and 2024 from the Scopus database, this study uses bibliometric techniques such as simple count statistics, citation analysis, co-citation, bibliographic coupling, and network analysis. Findings reveal that human resource innovation plays a vital role in enhancing service quality, employee productivity, and organizational effectiveness in tourism. Key innovations include the use of artificial intelligence, video interviews, virtual and augmented reality in recruitment and training, and digital performance management systems. These tools significantly improve human resource efficiency and responsiveness. Moreover, green human resource practices and innovative employee welfare programs contribute to environmental performance and staff well-being. The study also emphasizes the need for continuous theoretical development to support sustainable human resource innovation. Future research should explore the integration of decision support systems, business analytics, and automation into human resource management, as well as their impact on employee satisfaction and organizational outcomes. Additionally, studies on green human resource management and inclusive policies can provide further insights into fostering a productive and sustainable work environment in tourism. This research provides a foundational understanding of current trends and offers guidance for further advancement in human resource innovation within the tourism industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of earnings management and profitability on companies conducting acquisitions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2017-2023. The focus of this study is to compare the conditions of earnings management and several profitability ratios of companies, namely return on asset, return on equity, and net profit margin, before and after the company conducted an acquisition. The sample in this study was 31 companies obtained through purposive sampling and the method used a parametric inferential statistical approach using SPSS 26 software.  The results of the analysis showed that there were no significant differences in earnings management, return on asset, return on equity, and net profit margin before and after the acquisition. This study provides insight into the absence of significant changes in the company's financial performance post-acquisition, although this study is limited to short-term impact analysis.
