Abstract

Abstract : This research describes the error in morphology which is done by second student of Japanese Language Education Department University Of Riau. This research uses quantitative and qualitative description methode. Error analysis by Heidi Dulay (1981) is the theory which is used in this research. The theory consists 5 kinds of error,that are omission, addition, missformation, alternating form, and misordering. The error data is got from 28 of students result of essays in sakubun II class which topic are「楽しい一日」 and 「日本でびっくりっしたこと」. According to data analysis result, there are 4 errors: omission as many as 27 errors, addition as many as 8 errors, missformation as many as 54 errors and alternating from as many as 1 errors. In conclusion, the error which appears at most is missformation error, while alternating form error is the least. From interview result and connection in all of sakubun, there are mistake and error classification. There are 96 mistakes in mistake, while 70 mistakes in error.Keywords : Error Analysis, Sakubun, Morphology.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the relationship of ethic code of bushido concept on words, phrases, and sentences spoken by figure Kinemon and to determine the form of sociolinguistic analysisof the relationship between language and culture in sentence uttered by figure Kinemon on ethics codein concept“bushido”. In this study, the writer used a qualitative analysis research method. The object of this research was“One Piece” anime episod 581th chapter Punk hazard that became the early occurrence Kinemon figures. Data collection techniques in this study was“see and note” that focused on sentence of uttered by prominent Kinemon with eight reference of ethics code method became a basic of a samurai. The results of this study are expected to enrich the knowledge of the cultural discourse of bushido and to provide an understanding of the application ofbushido ethics code on speech acts shown by Kinemon.Key Words: Bushido, Ethics Code, Kinemon One Piece, Sociolinguistics.

Abstract

Abstract :This research is about development of associative picture card katakana to overcome the dificullties in memorizing katakana latters .The learning media of katakana letters which is development is suitable for beginners. The assosiative picture card media used a tehcnique based on a picture , so it is easy to understand as Levie a& Levie in Arsyad (1996: 9) states that learning through picture stimulus and later stimulus can make learning outcome be better for memorizing ,identifying, recalling, and connecting facty and concept. This research use a “ research and development “.The method of this development and research is use a Sugiyono design, but this research and development only adapted five sugiono’s Model research and development Among others : 1) incorporation data, 2) planning, 3)basic product development, 4) validation (validator), 5) basic step product revision. The incorporation data method used is with distributing necessity questionnaire validation and The result of the validation of expert declared to be used as a presentation media with an average of 87,5 %, validation of subject matter expert 1 declared valid to be used as a presentation an average of 79,5 %, and the validation research by the subject matter expert 2 got a presentation 75 %. From the research of the validation all of the expert and subject matter expert it can be conclude that it was visible to be used in learning katakana.Key words : Associative Picture Card , Research And Development, Katakana

Abstract

Abstract: The research discussed about the translation of idioms which contained in Hayate no Gotoku comic volume 36. The aim of this research is to know how the use of strategies and procedures in translation of idiom. The theories used in this research are translation strategies of idiom according to Baker (1992) and translation procedures according to Newmark (1988). The object of this research is Hayate no Gotoku comic volume 36 as the source language and translated comic into Indonesia language entitled Hayate the Combat Butler volume 36 as the target language. This research is a qualitative research which used descriptive method. The result of this research show that from 15 idioms, the strategies found that were, 1 idiom is translated by using an idiom of similiar meaning and form, 5 idioms are translated by using an idiom of similiar meaning but dissimiliar form, 8 idioms are translated by paraphrase, 1 idiom is translated by omission. Futhermore, the procedures found that were, 11 idioms are translated by free modulation procedure, 3 idioms are translated by standard modulation, and 1 idiom is translated by cultural equivalent procedure. Based on these results, the most commonly found translation strategies of idiom is translation by paraphrase and the most commonly found procedure is transpotition.Key Word : Idiom translation, Strategies, Procedures, Comic, Hayate the Combat Butler

Abstract

Abstract : This research is discuss the comprehension of the use of setsuzokushi ~te kara and ~ta atode by the II, III, IV grade students of Japanese Language Education Study Program University of Riau academic year 2016/2017. The purpose of this research is to measure students ability in using setsuzokushi ~te kara and ~ta atode. Then, to know the difficulty of the use setsuzokushi ~te kara and ~ta atode. This research used quantitative descriptive method by using survey as the research design. The data were obtained by using test and interview the respondents. This research was done as a quantitative research in the field of education. All data processed using statistic method and the result converted by descriptive method to describe the result. Based on the results of the test, it can be seen that the overall level of students' understanding of the use of setsuzokushi ~te kara and ~ta atode is at level D or less, at the interval 40-54,99 with an average of 52.58. The test results show that the highest score is 80 and the lowest score is 30. And highest average score by IV grade students is 55, after that by III grade students is 52. The lowest average score by II grade students is 50,75. The test result also supported by the interview result, respondents are always have a problem in using setsuzokushi ~te kara and ~ta atode. Moreover, based on the interview result respondents are difficult to differentiate between setsuzokushi ~te kara and ~ta atode, and the lack of vocabulary mastery.Keywords : Analysis Understanding, Conjunction (setsuzokushi) ~te kara, Conjunction(setsuzokushi) ~ta atode

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed at finding out variation of word form, meaning, and function of moe word which is used by Otaku Japanese Community. This research used some theories from J.D Parera (2004), Sudjianto and Ahmad Dahidi (2007), and from Abdul Chaer and Leonie Agustina (2010). The method of this research is qualitative descriptive method. The data was collected from anime, drama and Japanese film. The result showed that moe word used only by Otaku community. Variation of moe word are moe, moeru, moeta, moenai, and moe moe. Generally, the meanings of moe word are love emotion, or like something excessively, both the animate objects or inanimate objects, and situation. Moe word has three function, they are emotive function, referential function, and phatic function.Keywords: moe, otaku, form, meaning, function

Abstract

Abstract : This research describes about using an error of transitive and intransitive verbs are done by students in second grade of Japanese Program in Riau University. This research uses a descriptive method. This theory which is used for error analysis and linguistic theory of jidoushi tadoushi . The data is an error gets from written questionnaire test form on bunpou subject. While the factor of an error data gets from interview. Based on the data analysis can be concluded that the form of the most common error is when selecting verb in the sentence of tadoushi or jidoushi . This caused of students still difficult for which different between jidoushi and tadoushi.Keyword : error analysis, jidoushi, tadoushi

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe how to use the final particle (shuujoshi) kana and kashira in Japanese language drama by using sociolinguistic approach. Shuujoshi are particles (joshi) used at the end of a sentence or at the end of the sentence to express the speaker expression, prohibition, questions or doubts, expectations, or request, confirmation, orders, and so on. The particles included shuujoshi group is ka, kashira, to / kke, nee, no, wa, ze, zo, kana, naa, yo, tomo, sa, and ne. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Shuujoshi kana and kashira associated with a variety of Japanese. Kana commonly used by both men and kashira worn by women. As the times there was no significant difference between the use shuujoshi kana and kashira. Data were analyzed as a number of research data 14 data each 7 data kana and 7 data kashira. Selection data is based on data relating to the speaker and the person said, which also in terms of age, gender, social class and the relationship between the speaker and the person said.Keywords : Shuujoshi, Kana, Kashira, Variety of Japanese, Sosiolinguistik.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is about development adobe flash media as supporting material for learning Japanese vocabulary basic level University of Riau. The purpose of this research is to  that adobe flash media as supporting instructional Japanese vocabulary basic level University of Riau was in line expert standart or validator, so that media viable to use. This research us a “research and development” study. The subject of this research are Japanese college students in 2015/2016. In a way give a questionnaire with 10 question. The location of the research is in Riau University.The method of this development and research is use a Sugiyono design. Among others : 1) incorporation data, 2) planning, 3)basic product development, 4) validation (validator), 5) basic step product revition. The incorporation data method used is with distributing necessity questionnaire validation and trials product. The result of the validation of lecture expert is declared valid to use as learning media with an average percentage of 89,28 %, the result of the validation of media expert is declared valid tu use as learning media with an average percentage of 88,46 %, and the result of trial product validation is 88 %.
