Abstract

Background: Hospitals are required to provide good services matching with the given standards. People who received health services were faced with the risk of nosocomial infection. The incidence of infection was recorded in various countries nosocomial around 3.3%-9.2%. Hand hygiene was the most important thing to prevent the spread of infection. The purpose of this study was to determine nurse’s compliance with hand hygiene in effort of preventing efforts nosocomial in Ward Dahlia of RSUD Wonosari Yogyakarta. Method: This study was a qualitative descriptive study. The research subject was as many as 15 nurses with a total sampling, where as the interview with the head of the ward, nurses and other control and prevention of infection used purposive sampling. Collecting data was done by sheet checklist, interview and documents. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman. Results: The nurses in performing hand hygiene SOP have been appropriate but some not with the percentage of 80%. Nurse’s compliance in hand hygiene compliance based on five principles moment it was found that nurses in carrying out the moment 1 was by 66.7% and the moment 2 was 73.4%, the percentage was categorized as minimal compliance. Conclusion: Standard operating procedure of hand hygiene and infrastructure was well, the process of implementation of hand hygiene nurses have not all met the standards. Nurses mostly ignored the moment 1 and 2, the moment 3, 4 and 5 were in the category of good compliance. Monitoring and evaluation has been done.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan slusi untuk pengelolaan limbah ternak. Peternakan sapi merupakan sumber penghasilan bagi masyarakat pedesaan.  Dampak peternakan salah satunya limbahnya mengganggu lingkungan, berbau tidak enak dan sumber penyakit.  Masyarakat umumnya belum bias mengolah limbah menjadi biogas.   Biogas berpotensi menggantikan penggunaan LPG, yang dapat digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan bahan bakar warga. Metode yang digunakan dalam adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah telah pemahaman peternak tentang proses pengolahan limbah dan terwujudnya reaktor pengolah limbah dengan model kubah tertanam dalam tanah berkapasitas 6 kubik.  Reaktor ini memberikan manfaat berupa energi gas yang dialirkan ke kompor serta siap digunakan memasak cukup untuk keluarga 3-4 orang.Abstract: the purpose of this service activity is to provide slusi for livestock waste management. Cattle farming is a source of income for rural communities. One of the impacts of animal husbandry is that the environment disturbs, smells bad and is a source of disease. The general public cannot yet process waste into biogas. Biogas has the potential to replace the use of LPG, which can be used to meet the fuel needs of citizens. The method used in the training and assistance. The results of this activity are farmers' understanding of the waste treatment process and the realization of a waste treatment reactor with a dome model embedded in a 6 cubic-capacity soil. This reactor provides benefits in the form of gas energy which is flowed to the stove and is ready to use enough cooking for a family of 3-4 people.

Abstract

Media sosial saat ini menjadi gerbang informasi dan komunikasi. Selain itu media sosial juga menjadi raja dalam berinteraksi tanpa batas. Penggunaan nya dalam penerimaan Zakat, Infaq dan Sedekah (ZIS) tentu akan memberikan hasil tersendiri. Berbeda dengan teknik pengumpulan ZIS tradisional yang mengetuk dari pintu ke pintu. Peran media sosial dalam meningkatkan penerimaan ZIS Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) akan terasa berbeda dari teknik tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran media sosial dalam peningkatan penerimaan Zakat, Infaq dan Sedekah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Setelah melakukan penelitian, didapati hasil berupa adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam penerimaan ZIS pada lembaga yang intensif menggunakan media sosial. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial efektif dalam memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya ZIS, sehingga masyarakat tergugah untuk menjadi muzakki. Keinginan masyarakat menjadi muzakki ZIS tidak lepas dari fungsi dan peran media sosial, yaitu sebagai sarana komunikasi yang efektif, sarana publikasi yang masif dan intensif, sarana informasi yang cepat tepat dan terbuka, dan fungsi  yang terakhir adalah sarana informasi yang aktual dan kreadible

Abstract

The 9-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-3,3,6,6-tetra-3,4,5,6,7,9-hexahydro-2H-xantene-1 compound, which is addressed as compound 1 in this study, is the derivatives of 1,8-dioxo- octahydroxantene. This compound has a carbonyl group and double bond on beta carbon toward the carbonyl group and benzene ring. The presence of this chromophore helps the compound creates intermediate stabilized by resonance from its interaction with free radicals and has the potential to be an antioxidant. Compound 1 was synthesized from p- methoxybenzaldehyde and dimedone through Knoevenagel condensation reaction using an acid as catalyst. The lime and lemon juice was selected as a catalyst to support green chemistry principle. The obtained product includes white powder with a melting point of 222-224oC. The IR analysis results, GC-MS, and 1H-NMR data show that the compound structure of Compound 1. Meanwhile, the antioxidant activity test using the DPPH method reveal that Compound 1 has the antioxidant activity with IC50 of 22.74 ppm.

Abstract

Hidrokarbon adalah salah satu materi dalam cabang ilmu kimia organik yang berkembang pesat. Pada kurikulum tingkat satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) kimia organik mulai dibelajarkan di kelas X pada materi hidrokarbon. Pembelajaran hidrokarbon selama ini dilakukan dengan studi refrensi saja. Namun seiring perkembangan tehnologi dan informasi siswa lebih memilih internet karena dinilai praktis. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan internet akan lebih baik jika digabungkan dengan suatu model pembelajaran. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti ingin mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan internet dalam pembelajaran Learning Cycle 6E sehingga peneliti mengambil judul penelitian “Keefektifan Internet dalam Learning Cycle-6E pada Materi Hidrokarbon jika ditinjau dari Hasil Belajar Siswa”. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis rancangan semu (Quasy Experimental Design). Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa – siswi kelas X di SMAN 4 kota Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas, sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan data hasil temuan penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran materi hidrokarbon yang diajarkan menggunakan model Learning Cycle-6E berbantuan internet terbukti efektif dimana ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dimana nilai rata – rata siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at confirming and proving the comparison of two learning method, lecturing-demonstration and lab-work assisted with Vee Diagram, in buffer solution topic to students’ learning motivation and learning outcomes. This study is a quasi-experiment with balanced control group design. The subject of this study was XI Graders of IPA 1 and IPA 3. The results of this study indicate that lab-work learning assisted with Vee Diagram could motivate more the students as well as generating students high-order thinking skills than lecturing-demonstration learning method.Key Words: lecturing-demonstration, lab-work assisted with Vee Diagram, motivation, learning outcomes, buffer solution topic Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan keefektifan pembelajaran larutan penyangga menggunakan ceramah demonstrasi dan praktikum berbantuan Diagram Vee terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan balanced control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan IPA 3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran larutan penyangga menggunakan praktikum berbantuan Diagram Vee lebih memotivasi siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran ceramah demonstrasi, dan praktikum berbantuan diagram Vee menghasilkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang lebih baik. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mind mapping with Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) model on student’s cognitive learning outcomes (CLO) in the rate of reaction material. This study was a quasi-experimental design with a 2x2 design factorial. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in CLO for students who were learned using ADI-mind mapping and ADI in the rate of reaction material; (2) there were differences in CLO for students with high initial abilities and students who have low initial abilities learned using ADI-mind mapping and ADI in the rate of reaction material; (3) there weren’t an interaction between students initial abilities and learning models towards student’s CLO.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh mind mapping dalam model Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif (HBK) pada materi Laju Reaksi. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian factorial 2x2 design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan HBK untuk siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model ADI-mind mapping dan ADI saja; (2) terdapat perbedaan HBK untuk siswa dengan kemampuan awal tinggi dan siswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah yang dibelajarkan dengan model ADI-mind mapping dan ADI saja; (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara kemampuan awal siswa dengan model pembelajaran terhadap HBK siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop biochemical practicum guidelines II and test the guidelines for small-scale practicum guides. This research was developed based on the Thiagarajan (4D) method. The practicum guide produced is a biochemistry practical guide II specifically for students, biochemical practicum guide II specifically for lecturers /assistants and multiple choice tests. The validation guide shows guidelines for biochemical practices specifically students have an average value of 88.89 with very feasible criteria and biochemical practicum guidance guide II specifically for lecturers / assistants has an average value of 91.11 with very feasible suggestions. The results of a small group biochemical practicum guide for students specifically had an average score of 85.94 with very decent criteria. This shows that the practicum guide for the results of the development is feasible to be used in biochemistry practicum II lectures.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan praktikum biokimia II dan uji kelompok kecil panduan praktikum hasil pengembangan. Penelitian ini dikembangkan menurut metode Thiagarajan (4D). Panduan praktikum yang dihasilkan yaitu panduan praktikum biokimia II khusus mahasiswa, panduan praktikum biokimia II khusus dosen/asisten dan tes pilihan ganda. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukan bahwa panduan praktikum biokimia khusus mahasiswa memiliki rata-rata nilai 88,89 dengan kriteria sangat layak dan panduan panduan praktikum biokimia II khusus dosen/asisten memiliki rata-rata nilai 91,11 dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil panduan praktikum biokimia II khusus mahasiswa memiliki rata-rata nilai 85,94 dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa panduan praktikum hasil pengembangan layak untuk digunakan pada perkuliahan praktikum biokimia II.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of contextual teaching material towards undergraduate students’ learning outcomes in inogranic descriptive chemistry course. The research method used in this study is quasi experiments with posttest only control group design. 31 undergraduate students in experimental group and 37 undergraduate students in control group were taught with different teaching material on elements and compounds of alkali metals topic. The result of the study shows that there is difference learning outcomes between undergraduate students who were taught with contextual teaching material and undergraduate students who were taught with teaching material that usually used in inogranic descriptive chemistry course.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah kimia anorganik deskriptif. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan eksperimen semu dengan posttest only control group design. Sebanyak 31 mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 37 mahasiswa pada kelas kontrol dibelajarkan menggunakan bahan ajar yang berbeda pada topik unsur dan persenyawaan logam alkali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar antara mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan bahan berbasis kontekstual dan mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan bahan ajar yang biasa digunakan pada matakuliah kimia anorganik deskriptif.
