Abstract

Pada paper ini akan dijelaskan tentang pengembangan RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) yang dapat dipergunakan dalam sistem supervisory control menggunakan komunikasi berbasis IP (Internet Protocol). Perangkat keras RTU yang kami kembangkan terdiri dari embedded controller, mikrokontroler, dan modul input output. Di dalam embedded controller di kembangkan perangkat lunak dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6. RTU berfungsi untuk mengambil data dari modul-modul input output dan mengirimkannya ke master station serta menerima data perintah dari master station dan menjalankannya. RTU juga dilengkapi dengan perangkat lunak yang dapat ditulisi program, menerjemahkannya, dan menjalankan program tersebut. Program ditulis dengan syntax bahasa C, dapat ditulis pada perangkat lunak RTU dan dapat juga dikirim dari master station. Dari hasil pengembangan diperoleh sebuah perangkat RTU yang berkomunikasi dengan master station melalui jaringan berbasis IP. Kata kunci: embedded controller, mikrokontroler, RTU, IP

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas metode pemantau posisi dan arah gerak helikopter tanpa awak dengan bantuan layanan Google Maps API dan sensor GPS. Sinyal yang dihasilkan oleh GPS berupa data posisi dalam koordinat lintang dan bujur. Arah gerak helikopter diperoleh dari modul GPS dengan mengkalkulasi data riwayat posisi. Sinyal dari GPS selanjutnya dipancarkan oleh modem radio di helikopter dan diterima oleh modem radio di komputer. Data kemudian diolah oleh program aplikasi yang dibuat dengan Visual Basic 6. Data hasil olahan digunakan oleh program javascript untuk menampilkan posisi dan arah gerak helikopter ke dalam peta yang diperoleh dari layanan Google Maps API. Sebagai hasil akhir, pengguna dapat melihat posisi dan arah gerak helikopter pada browser seperti Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome maupun browser lain yang mendukung HTML5. Kecepatan pembaharuan data posisi pada jaringan lokal dapat mencapai duapuluh data perdetik atau 20 Hz. Kemampuan ini sangat lebih dari cukup mengingat kemampuan akusisi sensor GPS komersial yang paling mutakhir hanya  berkisar  antara 5-10 Hz. Dengan menggunakan metode ini data GPS dapat diproses tanpa ada data yang terlewat.

Abstract

One factor affecting the quality of tea is the selection of plant material that would be planted on the field. Clonal selection is a common way to produce tea with better quality. However, as a natural cross pollination species, tea often consists of various clones or progenies of cross-pollinated process. This commonly occurs on plantations owned by smallholder farmers. To produce a consistent quality tea, the clones or progenies need to be identified. Usually, human experts distinguish the plants from leaves by visual inspection on the physical attributes of the leaves, such as the textures, the bone structures, and the colors. It is very difficult for non-experts or common farmers to do such identifications. In this, we propose a deep learning-based identification of tea clones. We apply deep convolutional neural network (CNN) to identify 3 types of tea clones of Gambung series, a series of tea clones developed at Research Institute of Tea and Cinchona. Our study indicates that the performance of the CNN systems are affected by the depth of the convolutional layers. VGGNet, a popular CNN architectures with 16 layers, achieves better accuracy compared to AlexNet, a CNN with 6 layers.

Abstract

A microcontroller based audio modem system by means of Digital Direct Synthesizer (DDS) and Zero Crossing Detector (ZCD) technique is proposed in this paper. The modem operates in audible frequency range. The function of this modem is to transmit digital data through analog audio channel. In the modulator, DDS is used to generate sinusoidal audio signal. The modulation technique is 16-tones M-Ary Frequency Shift Keying (M-FSK) or MFSK16. In the demodulator, ZCD technique is used to measure the  sinusoidal signal periods. The experiments were done in the physical layer, to analyze the optimal channel bandwidth, transfer rate, and Bit Error Rate (BER). It was found that the optimal channel bandwidth for each tone is proportional to the frequency, due to fixed error DDS calculation. The performances of the modem are capable to modulatedata in transfer rate 200 bps and BER 2x10−3 without channel coding improvement.keywords: Audio modem, DDS, M-FSK, Zero Crossing Detector, GSMSistem modem audio berbasis mikrokontroler dengan teknik Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) dan Zero Crossing Detector (ZCD) diusulkan pada tulisan ini. Pada sisi modulator, digunakan teknik DDS untuk menghasilkan gelombang sinus audio. Teknik modulasi yang digunakan adalah 16 tone M-Ary Frequency Shift Keying (M-FSK) atau MFSK16. Pada sisi demodulator, teknik ZCD digunakan untuk mengukur perioda gelombang sinus. Pengujian dilakukan pada layer fisik modem dengan mencari lebar kanal yang optimal untuk masing-masing tone, nilai transfer rate, dan nilai Bit Error Rate (BER). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan lebar kanal optimal untuk masing-masing tone berbanding lurus dengan besar frekuensi, karena errorperhitungan frekuensi oleh DDS bersifat tetap. Performansi modem mencapai nilai transfer rate 200 bps dengan BER 2x10−3, tanpa penambahan pengkodean kanal.kata kunci: Modem audio, DDS, M-FSK, Zero Crossing Detector, GSM

Abstract

Pada tulisan ini, dievaluasi performansi skema modulasi MFSK (M-ary Frequency Shift Keying) untuk aplikasi pengiriman data melalui kanal suara GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication). Parameter yang dievaluasi berupa kesalahan bit trasmisi yang dinyatakan dengan laju kesalahan bit atau bit error rate (BER). Evaluasi ini dilakukan untuk menentukan besarnya orde M yang akan dipilih pada aplikasi pengiriman data digital melalui kanal suara GSM. Pada proses simulasi, data digital dikodekan menjadi simbol-simbol lalu dimodulasi menggunakan modulator MFSK menjadi data menyerupai pembicaraan (suara). Suara yang dihasilkan dikodekan dengan algoritma CELP (Code Excited Linear Prediction), kemudian dikirimkan melalui udara yang dimodelkan sebagai kanal AWGN (Additive White Gaussian Noise). Di sisi penerima, sinyal terima yang menyerupai suara ini didemodulasi dan dikonversi kembali menjadi data digital. Dari simulasi menggunakan Eb/No (signal to noise ratio) sebesar 6 dB, diperoleh laju bit 2,5 kbps dengan BER 2,01 x 10-3 untuk M=4, 2,22 x 10-3 untuk M=8, dan 1,87 x 10-3 untuk M=16.

Abstract

The selection of exemplary teachers is done every semester, which is done six months to determine who deserves to be an exemplary teacher. In this case the teacher's assessment is exemplary by the teachers and leaders. schools do not have methods that can deal with priority issues with work ethic criteria, objectives, scholarship, inclusive attitudes, communication is the benchmark in selecting model teachers. In addition, schools also often have difficulty in selecting exemplary teachers to be assessed. this becomes a flaw to determine whether or not the teacher is selected as an exemplary teacher. Therefore it is necessary to test the results of these methods to see the strength of the relationship of the results obtained with the ranking of decisions made. the stronger the relationship will certainly be better. This can be seen from the calculation of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which is the Hierarchy Consistency Ratio (CRH) in the selection of model teachers in Ceger State Elementary School 02 in the morning of East Jakarta, obtained a value> 0.1 which is = 0.02553225 which means the calculation results can be declared correct .

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted on August 2014 at Nagari Tikalak, X Koto Singkarang, Solok Regency, West Sumatera. Its objection is to know the overall comparison of fish catches (kg), to know types and the result of fish catches (how many fish can be catched) at before and after midnight fishing by using “gill nets”. This reseach uses survey method. The operation of gill nets had been done for 10 days.Fish catches on before midnight was “Bilih fish” (4,78 kg / 692 fish), “Paweh fish” (0,07 kg / 7 fish), and “Hampala fish” (0,05 kg / 4 fish). Whereas on after midnight fishing, the fisherman could get 9,18 kg (1430 fish)Bilih fish and 0,13 kg (8 fish)Paweh fish. Overall, there were 3 types fish which were captured;Bilih fish (Mystacoleusus padangensis Blkr), Paweh fish (Osteochilus brachmoides) andHampala fish (Hampala mocrolepidota).Based on counting result by using T test and chi square test, I found that there were the divergence of fish catches between before midnight fishing and after midnight fishing.Keywords: gillnets, before midnight, after midnight, West Sumatera

Abstract

The demand for implementing robots into our daily lives has surged in recent years, necessitating safe grasping for effective interaction with the environment. However, a majority of researchers rely on commercial grippers for their experimental studies, which are typically expensive and not accessible to everyone. Despite the existence of open-source designs, the assembly process is often challenging and requires modifications to enhance secure grasping. This paper presents a simple, compact, and low-cost gripper to offer an accessible and readily deployable solution for research and education. The gripper utilizes a parallel four-bar linkage mechanism, minimizing the number of components and incorporating off-the-shelf parts for straightforward assembly. Furthermore, to enhance its capabilities, the proposed gripper implements a soft skin tactile sensor on its fingertips. These sensors offer three-directional measurements using Hall effect sensing and embedded silicone. By controlling fingertip force based on information from the tactile sensors, the gripper achieves safe grasping. The gripper is evaluated to grasp daily life objects with different properties such as shapes, sizes, and levels of deformability. Evaluation results showcase the gripper's versatility, enabling it to securely grasp various objects, including fragile items. This outcome underscores the gripper's effectiveness, versatility, and safety in practical use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna dari tindak tutur imperatif di dalam percakapan pada Anime Suzume No Toji Mari. Peneliti menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dalam mencapai tujuan penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karakter Suzume dan Souta pada Anime Suzume No Toji Mari. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah makna tindak tutur yang terdapat pada Anime Suzume No Toji Mari. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Sutedi untuk mengetahui makna dalam penyampaian keinginan lawan bicara dan juga teori Hayashi untuk mengetahui fungsi dari tindakan tuturan. Penulis mengumpulkan data menggunakan metode simak dan juga menggunakan teknik lanjutan berupa teknik catat. Terdapat 25 data kalimat imperatif. Dapat diketahui ada 4 makna kalimat imperatif yang mempunyai fungsi perintah, mengajak, larangan, dan permintaan. Dari 25 data tersebut dapat dikelompokkan menjadi 8 makna perintah, 6 makna mengajak, 3 makna larangan, dan 8 makna permintaan.

Abstract

This study is entitled Analysis of Factors Affecting Newspaper Purchasing Decisions in Times of Increasing Technological Progress at Pt Arisma Indonesia Merdeka in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This study aims to analyze the effect of consumer confidence, distribution and brand image on newspaper purchasing decisions at PT Arisma Indonesia Merdeka in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research is descriptive and uses accidental sampling with a sample size of 94 respondents. Using multiple regression analysis techniques and to test the research hypothesis used the f test and t test. The results of the study are with multiple linear regression Y = 0.891 + 0.421X1 + 0.236X2 + 0.300X3. The equation can be interpreted that the constant is 0.891, which means that if consumer trust (X1), distribution (X2), and brand image (X3), the value is zero (not done), the purchase decision (Y) is 0.891. The coefficient value of purchasing decisions (X1) is 0.421, meaning that if consumer confidence (X1) increases by 1 unit, purchasing decisions (Y) will increase by 0.421. The distribution coefficient value (X2) is 0.236, meaning that if the distribution (X2) increases by 1 unit, the purchasing decision (Y) increases by 0.236. The brand image coefficient value (X3) is 0.300, meaning that if the brand image (X3) increases by 1 unit, the purchasing decision (Y) increases by 0.300. Determination testing obtained the contribution of consumer trust variables (X1), distribution (X2) and brand image (X3) to purchasing decisions (Y) of 80.9% while the remaining 19.1% was influenced or varied by other variables not included in this research model.
