Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh variabel skills dan variabel personality terhadap kinerja tenaga penjualan di PT. Kosmetik X zona 2 dan zona 3 jawa bagian timur. Bila dilihat dari maksudnya, penelitian ini digolongkan sebagai penelitian korelasi, sedangkan jika dilihat dari jenis data yang digunakan maka penelitian ini masuk kedalam penelitian  kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampel adalah menggunakan sampling jenuh/ total sampling yaitu teknik yang menggunakan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel, jumlah dari populasi sekaligus sampelnya adalah sebanyak 102 responden, penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan sofware SPSS versi 25 dengan uji hipotesis yang terdiri dari uji asumsi klasik dan analisis linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa skills dan personality baik secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga penjualan PT.Kosmetik X zona 2 dan zona 3 jawa bagian timur, variabel skills mempunyai nilai sumbangan efektif sebesar 24.3% terhadap kinerja tenaga penjualan, sedangkan variabel personality mempunyai sumbangan efektif terhadap variabel kinerja tenaga penjualan sebesar 32.6%.

Abstract

Dalam era kompetisi bisnis, implementasi dari perilaku kerja inovatif (innovative work behavior) selalu dibutuhkan untuk menciptakan terobosan untuk meningkatkan produk yang dihasilkan serta menjaga keberlangsungan bisnis itu sendiri. Perilaku kerja inovatif dapat didorong melalui pertukaran pemimpin dan anggotanya (leader-member exchange) dan pemberdayaan psikologis (psychological empowerment). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu pengaruh leader-member exchange dan psychological empowerment terhadap innovative work behavior. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah review sistematik literatur elektronik dari database Google Scholar. Pencarian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kata kunci “leader-member exchange”, “psychological empowerment”, dan “innovative work behavior”. Seleksi dengan menggunakan kriteria eksklusif kemudian dilakukan untuk mempersempit topik yang diinginkan menjadi pengaruh hubungan antara leader-member exhcange dan psychological empowerment terhadap innovative work behavior, sehingga didapatkan dua puluh artikel penelitian yang kemudian digunakan pada review sistematik ini. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa interaksi yang terjadi dalam leader-member exchange yang melibatkan psychological empowerment dapat menimbulkan motivasi intrinsik pada karyawan untuk memunculkan innovative work behavior. Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan psikologis, Perilaku kerja inovatif, Pertukaran pemimpin-anggota

Abstract

Nurse’s job satisfaction ia an important factor that must be strived by the management of hospital because the impact of job satisfaction is not only on the nurse itself bu also have an impact on the patient and  hospital’s image also. This is a descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional approach. This study was conducted involving 74 non-civil nurses who worked in  surgery inpatient care of “X” public hospital in East Java, Indonesia. The result show that career development affect nurses’s job satisfaction through organizational commitment as mediating variables. Compensation  affect nurses’s job satisfaction through organizational commitment as mediating variables

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi keterlibatan berbagai pihak dalam pengelolaann bencana di kawasan Gunung Kelud pasca erupsi tahun 2014. Penelitian dilakukan di KRB Gunung Kelud Kabupaten Kediri dengan informan yang berasal dari institusi pemerintah (BPBD), NGO Jangkar Kelud dan Masyarakat Lokal. Pendekatan etnografi digunakan untuk mengeksplor fenomena sosial budaya yang terjadi di wilayah studi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan participant observation, In depth interview dan penelusuran dokomen serta analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasca erupsi tahun 2014 upaya pengelolaan bencana yang dilakukan lebih mengndayagunakan kapasitas lokal yang ada di kawasan rawan bencana Gunung Kelud. Saat ini kegiatan pengelolaan bencana yang dilakukan adalah mitigasi dan membangun kesiapsiagaan masyarakat di KRB Gunung Kelud. Praktik pengeleloaan bencana dilakukan secara kolaboratif antara masyarakat lokal, BPBD dan LSM Jangkar Kelud. Salah satu program yang dikembangkan adalah ‘sister village’ (desa bersaudara). Penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya dinamika dalam pengembangan program sister village. Program ini   didukung masyarakat dan tokoh-tokoh lokal termasuk orang-orang yang masih kokoh dalam memegang nilai-nilai adat, tradisi, sehingga program sister village dianggap sebagai model penanggulangan bencana yang lebih mengakar secara sosio-kultural dan selanjutnya dapat digunakan sebagai referensi dalam mengembangkan model pengelolaan bencana berbasis kapasitas lokal  di Indonesia. Di sisi lain penolakan (resistens) dari warga turut mewarnai pengembangan program sister village. Adanya anggapan bahwa ‘sister village’ hanya sebatas program dengan dana kegiatan yang sudah dianggarkan, sehingga sebagian warga menolak untuk mengikuti kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pemerintahan desa dan difasilitasi BPBD.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low number of men who become KB acceptor, although family planning programs have been promoted in Indonesia since the 1970s. Therefore, this study aims to examine: (1) men’s participation in the implementation of Family Planning Program in East Java Province; (2) obstacles that impede the participation of men in the implementation of the Family Planning Program; And (3) Strategies that need to be developed to increase men’s participation in the implementation of family planning programs in the postmodern society. This study was conducted in Surabaya which was choosen for representing the urban and Madiun for representing the character of rural communities. Samples was choosen in each city/district consists of 75 people or a total of 150 men. Data was collected through structured interviews with 15 informants are underwent indepth interview. This study found that (1) male participation in family planning in particular the use of vasectomy methods is still very low in both Surabaya and Madiun, most EFAs place family planning programs as women’s responsibilities; (2) obstacles that impede the participation of men in family planning are psychological constraints such as concern in decreasement in masculinity, impotence, social constraints; and the constraints that come from the wife such as possibility of wife’s affair; and (3) strategies for increasing men’s participation in family planning include more intensive socialization, and mass media campaigns, which feature popular ad stars, so the participation of men in the Family Planning Program is no longer considered something which is taboo or embarrassing.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing number of foreign manpower entering and working in Indonesia since the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by the end of 2015. Therefore, this research intends to study the prosperity and the bargaining position of outsourced labours in the AEC era. To examine this, theories related to globalization and the free market, and issues related to employment were implemented. This research was conducted in an industrial area in Surabaya through questionnaires answered by 100 respondents who worked as outsourced labourers. Of this 100, 10 individuals participated in in-depth, structured interviews to supplement the data obtained through the questionnaires. There are a number of findings as a result of this research. Firstly, all respondents working as outsourced labourers are aware of the AEC and the impact of an increasingly difficult economic situation. Secondly, the low prosperity of outsourced labourers had in face occurred before the AEC. Outsourced labourers with a Specific Period Employment Agreement lacked job stability and had lower wages than permanent workers. Thirdly, the foreign manpower that has entered Indonesia has weakened the bargaining position of outsourced labourers as foreign workers are more highly educated and equipped with certified expertise and skills. The weak bargaining position of these workers is also due to the dropping union membership of outsourced labourers.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of local institutions in the establishment of preparedness habitus and the development of disaster mitigation in Mount Kelud area of Kediri Regency using the structural-constructivist approach of Pierre Bourdieu. This research is qualitative research in nature so that the data collection is conducted by participant observation, document tracking, and in-depth interview. The results showed that local institutions that play a role in the formation of disaster prepared habitus and mitigation development in the Mount Kelud area are formal institutions e.g. BPBD of Kediri, District and Village, and informal institutions namely the Jangkar Kelud Community and the Village Disaster Preparedness Team. The research also found that collaborative roles between leaders and local leaders have contributed greatly to the formation of disaster preparedness habitus for residents of Mount Kelud Slopes. This evident showed when residents of Mount Kelud were able to evacuate and rescue independently and could minimize casualties and adapt to the current situation when Mount Kelud erupted in 2014. In the formation of preparedness habitus and disaster mitigation leaders and local leaders use the knowledge and local wisdom as capital value to develop the attitude of life "Harmony with Mount Kelud", and the principle of life 'Sitik Edang ". For local residents, Mount Kelud is a part of their daily life that cannot be separated socio-culturally. The existence of the Suro Ox Myth and the Larung Sesaji Kelud cultural practice are some collective memories that can be used as cultural mitigation for the community in disaster management.

Abstract

The growth of Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) is able to reduce unemployment and poverty in Indonesia MSMEs can create new jobs and create new work units that use new personnel, so as to support household income. Therefore, UMKM Managers and actors must keep up with technology, so that the marketing and product promotion concepts that are implemented are widespread and attractive among buyers both at the domestic, regional and international levels. strategic. Especially with the enactment of the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA), Indonesian UMKM increasingly have greater market access. This activity is intended to empower local UMKM actors in Tuban Regency. The participants in this empowerment activity were as many as 50 people and were carried out by lecturing, discussion, training and mentoring in product marketing using digital technology. As a result of the community service activities, participants were enthusiastic about the activities carried out and proposed concrete follow-up actions such as training and mentoring in marketing digital-based products.abstrakPertumbuhan Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) mampu mengurangi angka pengangguran dan kemiskinan di Indonesia. UMKM dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja baru dan unit-unit kerja baru menggunakan tenaga-tenaga baru, sehingga dapat mendukung pendapatan rumah tangga. Karena itu, Para pengelola dan pelaku UMKM harus mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, sehingga konsep pemasaran dan promosi produk yang dilaksanakan tersebar luas dan menarik dikalangan pembeli baik domestik, regional maupun internasional. UMKM di era digital sebagai motor penggerak perekonomian Indonesia, maka menjadi sangat strategis. Apalagi dengan telah berlakunya Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA), UMKM Indonesia semakin memiliki akses pasar yang lebih besar. Kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untuk memberdayakan para pelaku UMKM lokal di Kabupaten Tuban. Peserta dalam kegiatan pemberdayaan ini sebanyak 50 orang dan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pemasaran produk menggunakan teknologi digital. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini peserta antusias dengan kegiatan yang dilakukan dan mengusulkan adanya tindak lanjut yang konkrit seperti pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam memasarkan produk berbasis digital.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, diperkirakan jumlah anak terlantar sekitar 3,5 juta jiwa. Ini pun terbatas pada kelompok anak-anak yang yatim piatu dimana dari jumlah itu hanya sedikit di antara mereka yang terjangkau pelayanan sosial. Di Kabupaten Sidoarjo sendiri, jumlah anak terlantar, anak yatim dan anak yatim piatu yang tinggal di berbagai panti diperkirakan mencapai angka ribuan, bahkan lebih, dan tidak mustahil pula angkanya kini terus bertambah karena tekanan kemiskinan dan kondisi perekonomian yang tak kunjung stabil. Kegiatan sebagaimana dilaporkan, selain mencoba melakukan indentifikasi keberadaan LKSA di Kabupaten Sidoarjo dalam mengimplementasikan SNPA, juga sekaligus akan mengkaji dan merumuskan sebuah pendekatan dan model penanganan anak-anak yang terlantar yang ada di panti. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini diharapkan akan diperoleh informasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan penyusunan kebijakan dalam mengoptimalkan peran LKSA dalam pemenuhan hak serta perkembangan anak asuhnya. Dengan demikian penelitian Analisa Keberadaan Lembaga Kesejahteraan Anak (LKSA) Di Kabupaten Sidoarjo menjadi penting untuk dilaksanakan. Metode yang digunkan pertama yaitu mengkaji dan menganilisis data sekunder. Kedua melakukan review. Dan ketiga yaitu melakukan penggalian data primer ke lapangan. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan kondisi LKSA di Kabupaten Sidoarjo masih banyak yang belum memenuhi standarisasi yang telah ditetapkan dalam SNPA. Kendala yang dihadapi pengurus LKSA dalam memenuhi standarisasi SNPA, selain berkaitan dengan keterbatasan dana dan SDM, juga karena jumlah anak asuh yang dilayani tidak sebanding dengan kemampuan pendanaan dan SDM yang diimiliki. Kedua, bagi anak-anak asuh panti, situasi problematik yang mereka hadapi terkait dengan kondisi LKSA.

Abstract

Contraception is an effort used to prevent pregnancy in women of childbearing age. Presently, contraception is not only used for adult women or those who have had a partner, but also for female adolescents. This study aimed to understand the practice of using contraceptives among female adolescents in rural areas. The theory used as an analytical tool was the theory of social construction by Peter L Berger and Thomas Luckmann. This study used a qualitative method. The research subjects in this study were women who used contraceptives as an adolescent. This study showed that the use of contraceptives or family planning by female adolescents in the Kabuh District is a common practice. Female adolescents interpreted family planning practices as prevention of pregnancy. The most commonly used contraceptives are the contraceptive injection and the birth control pill. Adolescents obtained preference for contraceptives from their parents and family. Meanwhile, family planning services were only provided through a midwife using the One-Stop Service method. Cultural values and customs that are deeply rooted in the Manduro community make the practice of pre-marital family planning perpetuated, even though it contradicts information in general and religion. This study concluded that the practice of pre-marital family planning is believed to be the best solution for female adolescents who are engaged but still want to seek new experiences.
