Abstract

Automated Text Summarization is a process that utilize an computer application toproduce summary from a document and have the same meaning form document. Theresearch purposed is to develop an application that produce single document summaryin Bahasa Indonesia dynamically. This application quote the majority core meaning ofdocument and display to user the summary. Implementing of Term Frequency-InverseDocument Frequency (TF-IDF) count weight and relation between text. Input andoutput document form a document in Bahasa Indonesia. Input document consist of title,heading and text while the output document is essense of the document. Thisexperimental result shows that accuracy is 61%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada tema  peristiwa dalam kehidupan di kelas V SDN 17 Kendari. Jenis penelitin ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 17 Kendari, yang terdiri dari guru dan siswa, 20 orang siswa perempuan dan 14 orang siswa laki- laki. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif yaitu data hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar siswa dan data kualitatif diperoleh berdasarkan lembar observasi aktivitas mengajar guru dan lembar observasi belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II, dengan persentase ketuntasan 58,82% dengan rata-rata 69,11 pada siklus I menjadi 88,23% dengan rata-rata 80,70 pada siklus II, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 17 Kendari pada tema peristiwa dalam kehidupan.Kata Kunci: model problem based learning; hasil belajar

Abstract

The teacher’s Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) become an important factor that involve in the teaching process at school. Unfortunately, based on the preliminary survey at several Junior High-School in Bogor, it had been found that many teachers had low-level of OCB. In addition, it had been found that teachers had ineffective interpersonal communication and had received less transformational leadership. Based on that issue, we formulated the objectives of this research as to improve the teachers’ OCB through developing effective interpersonal communication and transformational leadership. This research was carried out at 266 teachers from 20 Junior High-Schools, in Bogor.  This research was used correlational technique to assess the degree of relationship among those variables. The findings of this research can be summarized that there is a positive and significant correlation (1) between interpersonal communication with OCB (r=0.604, p0.01), (2) transformational leadership with OCB (r=0.602, p0.01), and between interpersonal communication and transformational leadership simultaneously with OCB (r=0.613, p0.01). These findings supported the recommendations to improve OCB through developing teachers’ interpersonal communication effectiveness and school principals’ transformational leadership.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a multimedia conservation of education application, and to determine its effectiveness in understanding the nature conservation of conservation cadres or volunteers in the national park area. This research used the Research and Development method of the model Borg Gall which was modified into five stages, were Research and Information Collecting, Planning, Developing Preliminary of Product, Preliminary Field Testing and Main Product Revision.  While the application development stage used the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method which consisted of planning, analysis, design, implementation and testing stages. Data obtained from the validation of material experts and multimedia experts. The effectiveness test used the analysis of the N-Gain value of each indicator of the pretest and posttest questions. To develop educational multimedia applications need to analysis, preparing the designs and materials, developing the application, validating applications by experts, assessing the quality of application systems, small and large scaling field trials and evaluation. The purpose research product is the digital information entitled E-Info of Nature Conservation Media which can be accessed free of charge via the link (ika.gedepangrango.org).  According to data analysis we concluded that the development of educational multimedia applications can increase understanding of nature conservation for conservation volunteers in the national park area. The Scores pretest and posttest obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.73 and a percentage score of 73.33% with the criteria ``High" and the criteria "Quite Effective", which means E-Info Application The media developed is suitable to be applied and quite effective in increasing respondents' understanding of conservation.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan aplikasi multimedia edukasi konservasi dan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitasnya terhadap pemahaman konservasi alam para kader konservasi di wilayah taman nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development model Borg Gall yang dimodifikasi menjadi lima tahapan yaitu Research and Information Collecting, Planning, Develop Preliminary of Product, Preliminary Field Testing dan Main Product Revision. Sedangkan tahapan pengembangan aplikasinya menggunakan metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, analisis, desain, implementasi dan tesing. Data diperoleh dari hasil validasi dua ahli yaitu ahli materi dan ahli multimedia. Uji keefektifan menggunakan analisis nilai N-Gain dari setiap indikator soal pretest dan posttest. Langkah-langkah untuk mengembangkan aplikasi multimedia edukasi yaitu analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan desain dan materi, pengembangan aplikasi, memvalidasi aplikasi oleh para ahli, penilaian kualitas sistem aplikasi, uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan skala luas serta evaluasi. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah informasi digital berjudul E-Info Media Konservasi Alam yang dapat diakses secara gratis melalui link (ika.gedepangrango.org). Berdasarkan analisis data  disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan aplikasi multimedia edukasi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konservasi alam bagi para kader konservasi di wilayah taman nasional. Skor pretest dan posttest diperoleh rata-rata skor N-Gain yaitu 0,73 dan skor prosentase 73,33% dengan kriteria “Tinggi” dan kriteria “Cukup Efektif” yang artinya Aplikasi E-Info Media yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dan cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konservasi responden.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mempelajari hubungan antara Kepemimpinan Visioner Kepala Sekolah dan Inovasi Guru dengan Efektivitas Kerja Guru. Penelitian dilaksanakan di 15 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Wilayah Kecamatan Cicurug Kabupaten Sukabumi Propinsi Jawa Barat pada tahun 2018 dengan sampel 105 dari populasi 142 yang diambil secara Proporsional Random Sampling. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survai dan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik korelasi dan regresi linier sederhana serta regresi dan linier ganda. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan tiga kesimpulan yaitu, pertama, terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Kepemimpinan Visioner Kepala Sekolah (X1) dan Efektivitas Kerja Guru (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi ry1 = 0, 5486. Kedua, Terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara variabel Inovasi (X2) dengan Efektivitas Kerja Guru (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi ry2 sebesar 0,8028 Ketiga terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara variabel Kepemimpinan Visioner Kepala Sekolah (X1) dan Inovasi (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan Efektivitas Kerja Guru (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi Ry12 sebesar 0,8144. Berdasarkan hal-hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Efektivitas Kerja Guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui Kepemimpinan Visioner Kepala Sekolah dan Inovasi. Kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan Visioner Kepala Sekolah, Inovasi, Efektivitas Kerja Guru.

Abstract

IMPROVING TEACHER JOB SATISFACTION BY STRENGTHENING TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTUREThis study is intended to empirically determining teacher job satisfaction by strengthening transformational leadership and organizational culture of honorary teachers of private vocational schools at Cibungbulang District. The number of research sample was 158 teachers taken using proportional random sampling techniques. The utilizing method was the correlational method. Hypothesis testing was carried out using parametric statistical analysis in the form of simple and multiple linear regression analysis, simple and multiple correlation analysis with significance levels α = 0.01 and α = 0.05. This research resulted in four conclusions. Firstly, there was a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership and teacher job satisfaction where the correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.588, the coefficient of determination Ry12 = 0.3461.  Secondly, there was a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and teacher job satisfaction where the correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.626, the coefficient of determination Ry22 = 0.3914. Thirdly, there was a positive and significant relationship between both transformational leadership and organizational culture with teacher job satisfaction where the correlation coefficient ry.12 = 0.71 and the coefficient of determination Ry.122 = 0.504. Fourthly, the job satisfaction could be improved by strengthening transformational leadership and organizational culture, both separately or altogether. It can be concluded that teacher job satisfaction can be improved by strengthening transformational leadership and organizational culture.

Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT AS A LEADER'S EFFORT IN IMPROVING TEACHER PERFORMANCE AT DAARUL ULUM MODERN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL, BOGOR REGENCYTotal Quality Management was a quality management system that focuses on customers and involves all employees in progression or continually improvements. Pre-study observations proved that the leader at Pondok Modern Daarul Ulum Kab. Bogor tended to apply a democratic leadership style in the development of Islamic boarding schools. In addition, there was a decrease in the number of graduates who continued studying abroad. This study aimed was to get relationship between the variables of democratic leadership style and Total Quality Management on teacher performance. The method used in this study was a survey with a correlational approach. The populations of this study were all teachers of Pondok Modern Daarul Ulum Kab. Bogor. The sampling method used a saturated sampling technique so that the entire population was used as a sample, as many as 244 teachers. During performing the analysis, the researcher used multiple linear regression analysis as well as hypothesis test that consisted of t test, F test and coefficient of determination test. By seeing the result, it could be seen that the democratic leadership style variable had a positive and significant relationship to teacher performance; meanwhile the Total Quality Management variable had no relationship to teacher performance.

Abstract

STRENGTHENING VISIONARY LEADERSHIP AND WORK MOTIVATION INEFFORTS TO INCREASE TEACHER  CREATIVITYThis study aimed to find the relationship between teacher creativity increase and visionary leadership strength, as well as between teacher creativity and and work motivation. This research was conducted in 11 private junior high schools in Megamendung District, Bogor Regency with a sample of 113 honorary teachers. This study used the correlational analysis method to determine the strength of the relationship between the variables studied and SITOREM analysis to analyze the indicator variables. The results of the study resulted in teacher creativity were: Ŷ = 1,122 + 0,148X1 + 0,750X2.  X1 is visionary leadership and X2 is work motivation. The optimal solution produced were: there were 10 indicators that have already been good so that they were maintained or developed, namely; responsibility, gaining recognition, flexible thinking, curiosity, classroom environment, future orientation, innovation, exemplary, communication, work commitment. There were 5 indicators that were still weak so it needed to be improved in the following order of improvement, such as: pride in work, opportunity to advance, achievements achieved, love to learn new things, opportunity to solve problems. Based on those findings, it can be concluded that strengthening visionary leadership and work motivation could increase teacher creativity.

Abstract

Service is an activity that is interactive between communities that aims to provide satisfaction and comfort. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to improve the quality and quality of services as well as in the Hajj registration service. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of satisfaction with Hajj Registration Services using the Fuzzy Service Quality (Servqual) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The data collection technique in this study used 100 questionnaires. The statement items used refer to the dimensions of service quality, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical evidence and the methods used to analyze are service quality (servqual) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The servqual method will measure the service quality of each dimension so that the gap value is obtained which is the difference between expectations and reality received by the registrant. The servqual method is then integrated with Importance Performance Analysis to classify certain service quality attributes. The results showed that the Hajj registrants were not satisfied with the quality of services provided by the Ministry of Religion in Kabupaten Bogor by showing a negative servqual score. Based on the results of the IPA, there are 9 attributes that are in quadrant B and quadrant C, 3 attributes that are in quadrant D and none of them are in quadrant A. Therefore, improving service quality needs to be carried out by the Ministry of Religion in Kab. Bogor.

Abstract

Improving Teacher Innovation through Transformational Leadership of School Principles and Achievement MotivationThis study aims to formulate concrete efforts in order to improve teacher innovation through a study on the relationship between; 1) transformational leadership and teacher innovation, 2) achievement motivation and teacher innovation, 3) transformational leadership and achievement motivation together with teacher innovation. This research was carried out at a private junior high school in Bogor Tengah District, Bogor City. This study was taken in correlational research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all permanent teachers of the Bogor City Private Junior High School foundation; 165 of 15 private junior high schools. The research sample was 117 people taken by proportional random sampling technique. The results of the study at a significant level of 5% showed that: 1) transformational leadership had a positive effect on teacher innovation where the correlation coefficient was ry1 = 0.53 and transformational leadership contributed 27.8% to teacher innovation, 2) achievement motivation had a positive effect on innovation teachers where the correlation coefficient was ry2 = 0.24 and achievement motivation contributed 5.9% to teacher innovation, 3) transformational leadership and achievement motivation together with teacher innovation as indicated by the correlation coefficient ry12 = 0.54 and transformational leadership and achievement motivation simultaneously contributed 29.1% to teacher innovation. The conclusion is that the higher the level of transformational leadership and achievement motivation, the higher the innovation of the teacher.
