Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan hasil penelitian tentang Pengaruh Strategi Writing In The Here and Now Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Argumentasi Siswa Kelas X SMK Madyatama Palembang. Strategi writing in the here and merupakan bagian dari active learning yang diperkenalkan oleh Silberman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh strategi writing in the here and now terhadap kemampuan menulis argumentasi siswa kelas X SMK Madyatama Palembang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Madyatama Palembang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X TKJ 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik data yang digunakan adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil perhitungan statistik uji-t satu fihak, diperoleh nilai    = 3,50 dan 1,6991. Dengan demikian berarti sehingga ditolak dan  diterima. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh strategi writing in the here and now terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi karangan argumentasi di kelas X SMK Madyatama Palembang. Kata Kunci: Writing in the here and now, argumentasi  THE EFFECT OF WRITING IN THE HERE AND NOW STRATEGY ON THE TENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ ARGUMENTATION WRITING ABILITY OF MADYATAMA VOCATIONAL SCHOOL PALEMBANG AbstractThis research is the result of research about Influence of Writing Strategy in the Here and Now on Writing Ability of Argumentation of Grade X Student of SMK Madyatama Palembang. Strategy writing in the here and is part of the active learning that was introduced by Silberman. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the influence of writing strategy in the here and now to the ability to write argumentation of students of class X SMK Madyatama Palembang. Population of this research is all students of class X SMK Madyatama Palembang. The sample of this research is class X TKJ 3 as experiment class. Data technique used is test and documentation. From the calculation of t-test statistic one side, obtained value t_ (count) = 3.50 and t_ (table) 1.6991. Thus it means t_ (count) ≥ t_ (table) so that it is rejected and accepted. It shows that the influence of writing in the here and now strategy on the learning result of students in writing argumentative texts at tenth grade students of SMK Madyatama Palembang. Keywords: Writing in the here and now, argumentation

Abstract

Online learning is learning that uses technology such as electronic devices. In this case, a teacher must have other alternative ways to deliver learning materials in order to arouse students' enthusiasm for learning. The information search method is one of the learning methods that can be used by a teacher in teaching during online learning, namely by giving students the freedom to seek answers or information from any source in accordance with the related material. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of online learning using the information search method on the learning outcomes of fifth grade science subjects at Kemala Bhayangkari Elementary School. The research subject is the fifth grade of SD Kemala Bhayangkari. This type of research is True Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results showed that after the pretest, treatment, and posttest were carried out in the experimental class, the average value of the pretest on science learning outcomes was 67.29 while the posttest average value of science learning outcomes was 86.66 and the results of the t-test calculation showed that > ​​( 4,967 > 2,201). So it can be stated that it is accepted and rejected, so it can be concluded that online learning using the information search method is effective for the fifth grade science subject at SD Kemala Bhayangkari.

Abstract

Problem-solving is a process or individual effort to respond or overcome obstacles or obstacles when an answer or answer method is not yet clear. This means that problem solving can make students create new ideas or techniques in a problem. Based on this, the problem in this study is how the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in the volume of space in the fifth-grade students of SDN 176 Palembang is solved. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students in the volume of building materials. The results showed that the mathematical problem-solving ability (1) students were in high category, students were able to understand the problem correctly, were able to make a were able to carry out the appropriate stages of the problem-solving ability indicator correctly, able to make conclusions answers obtained. (2) moderate category students, students can carry out problem-solving steps such as planning to solving problems. (3) low category students, students cannot find out the problem and carry out problem-solving steps according to indicators such as planning, solving problems and making conclusions from the answers.

Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic situation made the Government announce  online learning activities.  This policy and it was relationship with teacher strategy at interesting teaching to learn. So that, This research was focused on the strategy that the teacher and used in impelemanting learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Namely distance learning (PJJ), so that it could runned effectively, optimally, and run well. This research aimed to describe the strategy of teachers in teaching Speking during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subject was class VIIB  English teacher, and grade VIIB students. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show that the teacher used an expository strategy that emphasized the teaching and learning process directed to achieve learning objectives.  Analysis of online teacher learning methods with virtual media as a supporting means used two learning methods, first, the assignment method through the google classroom application, the results of the answer sheets were collected directly to the school, and then the second learning method was question and answer through Zoom Meeting and WhatsApp Group. The conclusion obtained from this research was that the teacher strategy in teaching speaking at Junior High School Prabumulih during the Covid-19 Pandemic could be seen from: teaching objectives, teaching approach, and teaching methods.

Abstract

This paper investigated the used of dictogloss in teaching English grammar. Dictogloss offers a context-rich method of assessing how much students know about the topic of the text. Two tests were given to the students, a pre-test and a post-test. It was found that the students’ score in the posttest (82) was significantly higher than that in the pre-test (59). The writers examined the student’ note taking on the linguistic components and grammatical structures by focusing on certain grammar items, accuracy and meaning. Note taking or composition was scored by using a marking system. By using dictogloss the teacher reinforce students’ mastery in learning English grammar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan dan efektivitas model pembelajaran pair checks ini terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian jenis eksperimen (True Experimen design) yaitu dengan soal berupa tes. Dengan desain Posttest-Only Control Design. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak dua kelas yang dipilih secara random sampling pada kelas IV salah satu SD N 04 palembang. Analisis data mengatakan bahwa data teruji normalitas, teruji homogenitas, dan teruji hipotesis. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 73,79 % dan kontrol 54,48%. Hasil tersebut terlihat dapat menyatakan bahwa terdapat keefektifan dan signifikan pada penerapan model pair checks menggunakan SPSS versi 25 menunjukkan bahwa nilai yang diperoleh dari thitung = 4,902 pada taraf signifikan 0,05(5%) dengan ttabel = dinyatakan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang artinya ada efektifitas model pair checks terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV di SDN 04 Palembang. Dengan adanya model ini dapat mempermudah guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan juga bagi siswa dapat membuat siswa menjadi terlibat dapat proses pembelajaran berlangsung maka dari itu model pair checks ini sangatlah efektif untuk di terapkan pada proses pembelajaran terutama pada materi IPA. Dan bagi sekolah merupakan salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat di terapkan di sekolah.Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran, Pair Checks, Hasil BelajarAbstractThis study aims to determine how the implementation and effectiveness of this pair checks learning model on student learning outcomes. This research uses an experimental type of research method (True Experimental design) that is with questions in the form of tests. With Posttest-Only Control Design. The sample used in this study were two classes selected by random sampling in class IV, one of SD N 04 Palembang. Data analysis said that the data were tested for normality, tested for homogeneity, and tested for hypotheses. Hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test. The results showed that the posttest average of the experimental class was 73.79% and the control group was 54.48%. These results can be seen stating that there is effectiveness and significance in the application of the pair checks model using SPSS version 25 indicating that the value obtained from tcount = 4.902 at a significant level of 0.05 (5%) with ttable = stated Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is the effectiveness of the pair checks model on the learning outcomes of fourth grade science subjects at SDN 04 Palembang. With this model, it can make it easier for teachers in the learning process and also for students to get students involved so the learning process can take place, therefore this pair checks model is very effective to be applied to the learning process, especially in science material. Abstract

Kurangnya media pembelajaran guna mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran siswa untuk memahami materi ajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan media pembelajaran lift the flap book pada pembelajatan IPA kelas V SD yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini yaitu menggunakan metode R&D (Reseacrh and development) dengan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini di lakukan di SD Negeri 4 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penilaian oleh ahli media media memperoleh skor 96,00% dengan kategori “Sangat layak/valid”, ahli materi yaitu 92,30% dengan kategori “Sangat layak/valid”, sedangkan hasil penilaian oleh guru kelas memperoleh skor 90,76% dengan kategori “ Sangat praktis”. Hasil penilaian siswa pada uji coba one to one memperoleh skor 92,66% dengan kategori “Sangkat Praktis” sedangkan pada uji coba small group memperoleh skor 80,2% dengan kategori “Praktis”. Penilaian kepada seluruh siswa memperoleh skor 87,25% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Dengan demikian media yang dikembangkan berupa media lift the flap book dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa sebagai media pembelajaran

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan media pembelajaran Roulette Bingo pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi puisi kelas IV SD yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini yaitu menggunakan metode R&D (Reseacrh and development) dengan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini di lakukan di SD Negeri 4 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penilaian oleh ahli media memperoleh skor 97,33% dengan kategori “Sangat layak/valid”, ahli materi yaitu 91,67% dengan kategori “Sangat layak/valid”, sedangkan hasil penilaian oleh guru kelas memperoleh skor 97,34% dengan kategori “ Sangat praktis”. Hasil penilaian siswa pada uji coba one to one memperoleh skor 79,44% dengan kategori “Praktis”, sedangkan pada uji coba small group memperoleh skor 91,50% dengan kategori “ Sangat Praktis”. Hasil penilaian yang terdiri dari 29 siswa memperoleh skor 88,27% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis. Dengan demikian media yang dikembangkan berupa media Roulette Bingo dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dari soal higher order thinking skills terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas V. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu true eksperimental design dengan desain penelitian berupa the randomized posttest only-control design dengan sampel penelitian yang terdiri atas dua kelas meliputi kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VB berjumlah 27 siswa dan kelas kontrol yaitu VC berjumlah 25 siswa dengan teknik simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan menggunakan Uji-t dua sampel bebas (independent sample t-test) diperoleh nilai thitung yaitu 10,549 dan nilai ttabel yaitu 0,2732 dengan ? = 0,05 dan df = 50, maka thitung > ttabel sehingga Ha diterima dan tolak Ho sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Soal higher order thinking skills memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas V.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) berbantuan Power Point terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika kelas IV di SD Negeri 4 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekperimen yaitu true eksperimental design dengan bentuk desain Posstest-Only Control Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini siswa kelas IVA dan IVB yang berjumlah 57 siswa, diambil dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan menggunakan Uji-t dua sampel bebas (independent sample t-test) diperoleh hasil yaitu 4,871 dan nilai = 1,673 dengan = 0,05 dan df = 55, maka sehingga diterima dan ditolak. Dari data uji hipotesis tersebut dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh dalam penerapan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) berbantuan Power Point terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika kelas IV di SD Negeri 4 Palembang.
