Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penyakit infeksi Healthcare Associated Infection (HAIs) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan diberbagai negara yang terus meningkat sampai lebih dari 40% di Asia, Amerika Latin dan Afrika. Healthcare Infection Control Pranctices Advisory Committe (HICPAC) pada tahun 2007 merekomendasikan 11 kewaspadaan standar infeksi, salah satunya adalah hygiene respirasi/etika batuk. Persepsi masyarakat tentang etika batuk sebagai salah satu penyebab rendahnya penerapan etika batuk. Untuk merubah persepsi pasien dalam melakukan etika batuk perlu dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan pada pasien dan keluarga. Tujuan: Mengetahui Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Etika Batuk Terhadap Persepsi Pasien Tentang Etika Batuk Metode: Penelitian ini dengan rancangan deskriptif korelatif control groub pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 responden, yaitu 25 untuk kelompok kontrol dan 25 kelompok intervensi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan wilcoxon untuk menilai sebelum dan sesudah, juga menggunakan Mann-Whitney Test untuk menganalisi perbandingan 2 variabel. Hasil: Dari uji statistik wilcoxon diperoleh nilai p-value 0.013 untuk kelompok kontrol dan pada kelompok intervensi didapatkan hasil p-value 0.000. Uji beda Mann-Whitney Test diperoleh nilai p-value 0.848 sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dan nilai p-value 0.000 setelah diberikan pendidikan. maka Ha diterima artinya ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap persepsi pasien tentang etika batuk di ruang Paru RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen kepala ruang dengan komitmen perawat pelaksana pada organisasi di Rumah Sakit. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskreptiif korelasi dengan rancangan cross sectional, dan jumlah sampel 119 perawat pelaksana dengan teknik pengambilan total sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fungsi manajemen yang mempunyai hubungan dengan komitmen perawat pelaksana pada organisasi adalah fungsi perencanaan (p=0,47, 95% CI=1,005-4,480), fungsi pengarahan (p=0,017, 95% CI=1,255-5,576), dan fungsi pengendalian (p=0,012, 95% CI=1,312-5,844). Sedangkan dari karakteristik individu yang terdapat hubungan adalah tingkat pendidikan (p=0,048, 95% CI=0,899-66,204). Faktor paling berhubungan adalah fungsi pengarahan setelah dikontrol variabel tingkat pendidikan. Kepala ruangan perlu memberikan motivasi dan memfasilitasi perawat pelaksana untuk meningkatkan komitmen pada organisasi.

Abstract

Background : Emergency conditions are conditions that occur suddenly and are very life-threatening, so help must be given quickly, precisely and correctly. One of the life-threatening conditions is cardiac arrest, which is a condition where the heart cannot function anymore, and requires collaboration between health personnel in providing help and this always ends in death. The incidence of cardiac arrest at the Ulin Regional General Hospital during May to June 2017 was 88 cases and most of the deaths occurred in patients. Cardiac arrest can still be saved by the correct nursing care process so that return of spontaneous circulation can occur.Purpose : Identify and explore the experience of nurses doing nursing care for cardiac arrest.Methods: This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The number of participants in this study were 9 nurses in the emergency room and intensive care unit. The process of retrieving data using interview guides, and data analysis using Colaizzy.Results: This study obtained a major theme, "Collaborative Teamwork" when providing nursing care for cardiac arrest. This theme was formed from two sub-themes namely "division of job teams", "collaboration" and KIE to the patient's family.The participant describing the existence of maintained teamwork can help smooth the process of nursing cardiac arrest so that patients can return to the condition of return of spontaneous circulation.

Abstract

Background: Nurses are the majority of human resources in the hospitals whose role determines the quality of health care and they are most closely associated with patients. They are the most dominating human resources in hospital who have the most frequent interaction with the patients. Therefore, the primary indicator of the hospitals' quality service is in its nursing services. The capabilities and competencies of the nurses can be assessed through a nursing logbook strategy.Objective: This research aimed to explore the implementation of performance assessments using the nursing logbook.Method: This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was conducted from November to December 2017 by using in-depth interviews with six participants who were selected by using purposive sampling techniques. The participants were nurses in Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Hospital. Results: The research results covered six themes, namely the existence of a nursing logbook for nurses, the purpose and the benefit of logging book in nursing, the relationship between a nursing logbook and credentials, the implementation of nursing logbook, the constraints or the barriers in the implementation of the nursing logbook, and the expectations of nurses towards the nursing logbook.Conclusion: The system of implementing the logbook as a tool for the nurses' performance assessment is not optimal due to the limited socialization to the nurses in the hospital.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Perguruan tinggi vokasi memiliki tanggung jawab membekali peserta didik dengan nilai-nilai sesuai kebutuhan dunia kerja dan industri. Untuk dapat bekerja sesuai kebutuhan dunia kerja, selain penguasaan hard skill, juga penguasaan soft skill, Pada jenjang pendidikan tinggi dalam pembentukan karakter perlu diberikan pengetahuan dan pendidikan yang memadai melalui organisasi kemahasiswaan Melalui program pelatihan kepemimpinan dan manajemen organisasi ini diharapkan dapat membentuk karakter dan sikap pentingnya memahami program dan lingkungan kampus dan menjadi motivasi tersendiri pengembangan kompetensi sumber daya manusia/mahasiswa. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertempat SD Alam Muhammadiyah Banjarbaru. Kegiatan edukasi ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 Maret 2022. Sasaran merupakan khalayak sasaran untuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mahasiswa aktif organisasi.Hasil yang didapat adalah diketahuinya masih ada yang belum mengetahui tentang kepemimpinan dan manajemen organisisai evaluasi melalui pretest dan posttest.Pelaksanaan kegiatan edukasi terkait kepemimpinan dan manajemen organisasi ini menambah pengetahuan mahasiswa terkait kepemimpinan dan manajemen organisasi.

Abstract

Introduction: Professional nurses according to the book National Accreditation National Standard edition 1.1 are as one of the one Professional Care Provider (PPA). As a PPA who provides care for 24 hours in hospital, it demands that nurses as care professionals must have competence. According to SNARS edition 1.1 hospitals are required to have nursing credential regulations includes evaluation and verification of education, registration, permits, authority, training and experience, Hospitals must also plan for nursing human resources by having qualification standards and Staff Authority (KKS). Purpose: This study aims to explore in depth the challenges of implementation credentials according to the National Hospital Accreditation Standards. Method: The research design used in this research is a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach . Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 6 participants and document studies in Islamic Hospital of Banjarmasin. Results: As a result, there are themes of The Challenges of Credentials Implementation with sub-themes of The ideal number between assessors and nurses whose competencies assessed, overlapping task an function of credential team, the incentive salary for Assessors, and The Payment for Nursing Service in accordance with clinical autorithy. Conclusion: Credentials can improve quality, protect patient safety, maintain standards of nursing care services and provide protection to nurses if the implementation of credentials is carried out with the correct process such as adequacy of the number of assessors, salary incentives for assessors, clarity of roles and functions of the credential team and also provision of appropriate salaries/bonus with the burden of action that is the responsibility of the nurse

Abstract

Sistem jenjang karir perawat adalah perencanaan dan pelaksanaan karir yang menempatkan perawat sesuai dengan keahlian dan kompetensinya, serta memberikan peluang untuk berkembang dan melakukan perubahan yang lebih baik sesuai kemampuan. Jenjang karir profesional bagi perawat tidak hanya merupakan sistem yang bertujuan meningkatkan kinerja dan profesionalisme, tetapi juga mencakup peningkatan kompetensi yang berdampak pada kinerja profesional yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh motivasi kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi kerja dengan pelaksanaan sistem jenjang karir perawat di Primaya Hospital Bekasi Utara. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Pemilihan responden berdasarkan menggunakan total sampling. Responden pada penelitian berjumlah 174 perawat di Primaya Hospital Bekasi Utara. Nilai significancy (p-value) 0,000 atau < 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara motivasi kerja dengan pelaksanaan sistem jenjang karir perawat adalah bermakna. Nilai korelasi Spearman sebesar 0,709 menunjukkan bahwa arah korelasi positif dengan kekuatan korelasi kuat. Sistem jenjang karir perawat telah diidentifikasi sebagai strategi pengayaan pekerjaan yang berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan dan kinerja perawat, menekankan pentingnya penghargaan, pengakuan, dan peluang pengembangan profesional dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja dalam profesi keperawatan.

Abstract

Abstract All health workers, especially nurses, must comply with the Covid prevention health protocol 19 especially hand washing and the use of PPE. One important factor influencing nurse compliance is the nurse's motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and nurse compliance in implementing the Covid-19 health protocol. This study used a cross-sectional design. The population was all nursing staff in the Covid 19 isolation room of a private hospital in Banjarmasin, totaling 30 people, taken using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was using Spearman Rank. The results showed that there was a relationship between motivation and nurse compliance in implementing the Covid-19 health protocol at Banjarmasin Private Hospital with a value of ? = 0.000 and the strength of the relationship was very strong (r = 0.996). Socialization or training regarding the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol needs to be carried out for all nurses working in the Covid-19 isolation room.
