Abstract

The Micro, Small, and Medium industries (MSMI) have an essential role as a driver of the economy in Indonesia. The sector MSMI opportunities can provide employment that can reduce unemployment and contribute to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). In addition, several types of products from this sector through exports contribute to generating foreign exchange. The objectives of this study: 1) analyze the direct and indirect effects of the business environment and business management on creativity and innovation and business success; 2) analyze the factors driving and inhibiting creativity and innovation; 3) analyze the factors driving and inhibiting business success: survey research methods and forms of descriptive and verification research. The research object of MSMI snack food in West Java Province was 150 respondents. Sampling using technique random sampling is based on areas that have the potential for industrial development (industrial centers) consisting of three areas, namely Bogor, Sukabumi, and Cianjur, which have a large number of  MSMI  with superior products that have potential and become priorities for development. This research used the analysis technique SEM or Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that there are direct and indirect effects of the business environment, business management on creativity and innovation as well as business success; the driving factors for creativity and innovation as well as business success are the business environment and business management.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the role of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence in affecting the teacher performance. This study used a research design of an associative quantitative approach. The data were collected through documentation and online questionnaires. This study used a sample of 39 respondents with the determination of the sample size using the saturated sample formula. Partial least square was applied to examine the relationship between teacher performance, intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. The results of this study showed that of the three hypotheses formulated, there were two hypotheses that were rejected. For the effect of the intellectual intelligence variable on the teacher performance variable, the results did not have a significant effect, and then, the effect of the emotional intelligence variable on the teacher performance variable was the same, which was not affected significantly. Meanwhile, the spiritual intelligence variable had a significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

The rapid growth of internet usage has affected several sectors of human life, not least in the transportation sector. The implications of mobilizing the use of application-based transportation (GoJek) are now a trend among people to travel from one place to another. This condition illustrates that the intensity of the use of application-based transportation will have implications for the level of user satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of price and consumer confidence to consumer satisfaction of users on the basis of application transportation. This research uses a case study model by involving students in one of the tertiary institutions in Pematang-siantar City. The number of samples in this study were 322 students obtained through non-probability sampling techniques with a purposive sampling method. Data collection uses an online questionnaire that is distributed to all samples in the form of a link (URL). Data analysis uses SEM test models consisting of measurement models and structural models. The results of research and hypothesis testing explain that price has a significant effect on user satisfaction of application-based applications. Furthermore, consumer confidence has a significant influence on user satisfaction based on application applications.

Abstract

The development of the micro, small, medium industry has rapid growth and development because it is able to survive amid the conditions of the economic crisis. The objectives of this study were: 1) to analyze the influence of business environment, business management and creativity and innovation on business success simultaneously and partially in West Priangan; 2) Factors driving and inhibiting business success in West Priangan. Survey research methods and forms of descriptive and verification research. The research object of snack MSMI in West Priangan was 150 respondents. Sampling using random sampling techniques is based on areas that have the potential for industrial development (industrial centers) consisting of three regions, namely Bogor, Sukabumi and Cianjur. Then the questionnaire was tested with validity and reliability tests. The results of the test data were declared valid and reliable and carried out a classic assumption test for use in the regression test. The results showed that simultaneously the business environment, business management and creativity and innovation had a positive and significant effect on the success of business in West Priangan. Partially the business environment, business management and creativity have a positive and significant effect on business success. Innovation does not have a positive and significant effect on business success. Meanwhile, the driving factors for business success are the business environment, business management and creativity, and innovation is an inhibiting factor for business success.

Abstract

The public culinary stalls (PKL) are an informal economic sector that have been evolving in big cities especially in Bogor. The Government is obliged to manage and arrange the public culinary stalls in order not to disturb the society, lay-out of the city, and public order. Public Cullinary Stalls have been increasing the society economics and supporting the government relating to jobs opportunities. This research aims to discover: 1) the profile of public culinary stalls 2) a simultaneous effects of the aspects of economics, social, environment, lay-out of the city and public order aspects upon PKL performances, and 3) a partial effects of the aspects of economics, social, environment, lay-out of the city and public order upon PKL performance The research has been applying a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data collection has been obtained through the questionnaires distribution, the observation and depth interview. The research has determined that the economics, society, environment, lay-out of the city an, public order factors have been affecting simultaneously and partially the performance of PKL.Key-words : Economics, Social, Environment, Lay-out, public order and Performance of PKL.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to identify and mapping of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) condition in Bogor area, also to recommendation the policy and empowerment the policy of SMME through the stakeholder involvement, so it can be able to increase the MSMEs performance. The research’s object is MSMEs in Bogor area. It uses the SWOT analysis with the desk study research method that is collecting data or seconder information that relevant to the research activity and approach method survey that is collecting the data or primer information with in-depth interview method and Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and the parties relating to this research. Finding this research is value of IFAS score of 2.90 and the value of EFAS score of 2.55 then obtained Matric Internal-External (IE Matric). Based on the above conditions where the relative IFAS score above average and EFAS score medium, then strategy that can be applied to that position is stability strategy or growth through horizontal integration. Abstract

This study aims to identify MSMEs problems, identify internal and external factors, and recommend alternative strategies through stakeholder involvement. This research uses a participatory approach. Data obtained in the form of primary through observation, depth interviews, and FGD. Secondary data was obtained from other sources. Analyzing using IFAS, EFAS and SWOT analysis. Based on the IFAS EFAS score, the competitive ability of MSMEs is classified as moderate. The right strategy is to implement a growth strategy through horizontal integration. In contrast, the alternative approaches are institutional empowerment, increased development, intensive engagement with stakeholders, increased access to funding sources, marketing network development, conducive climate, improvement of entrepreneurship programs, improvement of production and information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of occupational health safety programs and physical work conditions on the performance of production department employees at PT Bahagia Jaya Sejahtera. The population and sample amounted to 36 employees in the production section at PT Bahagia Jaya Sejahtera. Data collection through questionnaires and interviews. Instrument testing is done with validity and reliability. Analysis of research data includes multiple regression analysis, correlation and simultaneous and partial significance tests. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis the occupational health safety program and physical work environment conditions have a positive and significant effect on performance and the F test results state that simultaneous occupational health safety programs and physical work environment conditions affect employee performance. While the results of the test state that workload and work environment partially affect employee performance Increased workload within the limits of the ability of employees can improve employee performance.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is the important asset especially for an organization performance. Considering about the biggest benefit of HR company, it will be better if a company give attention to all HR aspects. One of the aspect is compensation. The aim in giving compensation is to increase working performance and to minimize employee's resignation or tunover intention. The purpose of this research is to know the compensation effect to the performance and tunover intention in Maternity Hospital. Analysis simple regression is used as a method on the research, and 54 employees are used as the population. Partially the result of this research shows that compensation is affected positif and sgnificant to work performance. Compensation affected negatif and significant to tunover intention.

Abstract

Abstract.  This study aims to determine the effect of market orientation, product creativity, and product innovation on food SMEs’ marketing performance in Bogor. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. the research sample used 100 food SMEs. The results showed that simultaneously and partially the variables of market orientation, product creativity, and product innovation had a positive and significant effect on food SMEs’ marketing performance in Bogor. For further research, other variables that affect marketing performance can be added, including entrepreneurial orientation, learning orientation, brand image, customer value, and product quality in addition to increasing the number of samples of non-food SMEs. Keywords: Marketing Performance; Market Orientation; Product Creativity; Product Innovation. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh orientasi pasar, kreativitas produk dan inovasi produk terhadap kinerja pemasaran UMKM makanan di Kota Bogor. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Sampel berjumlah 100 pelaku UMKM makanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan dan parsial variabel orientasi pasar, kreativitas produk dan inovasi produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran UMKM makanan di Kota Bogor. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya dapat ditambahkan variabel-variabel lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja pemasaran, diantaranya adalah orientasi kewirausahaan, orientasi pembelajaran, citra merek, nilai pelanggan dan kualitas produk serta menambah jumlah sampel UMKM non makanan Kata Kunci : Inovasi Produk; Kinerja Pemasaran; Kreativitas Produk; Orientasi Pasar
