Abstract

Pengembangan video pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan video pembelajaran yang valid dan mendeskripsikan kepraktisan dan keefektifan video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Desain penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Video pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan diuji kelayakan produk oleh validator ahli dan pengguna. Hasil validasi video pembelajaran dikategorikan valid dengan persentase tingkat validitas mencapai 92%. Hasil kepraktisan pembelajaran menunjukkan pelaksanaannya sangat baik dengan nilai persentase 92%. Hasil keefektifan video pembelajaran menunjukkan kriteria sedang dengan rata-rata skor N-Gain sebesar 0,45. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, validitas video pembelajaran dikategorikan valid, sedangkan kepraktisan pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik dan keefektifan pembelajaran yang digunakan dikategorikan sedang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai referensi sumber belajar siswa di SMP.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Darussholah yang mempunyai NSPP 510035090361 tersebut berdiri pada tahun 1900. Pondok Pesantren tersebut beralamat di Panti, Kabupaten Jember, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dan obseservasi dengan pengasuh dan santri ternyata: (1) selama ini santri hanya mengkaji kitab-kitab kuning atau dengan kata lain tidak membekali santri untuk mempunyai keterampilan selepas mereka lulus dari pondok dan melanjutkan kehidupan; (2) santri mempunyai keterampilan meracik kopi tetapi tidak mengetahui cara memasarkannya sehingga selama ini kopi hanya dinikmati sendiri serta untuk tamu yang datang dan kebetulan pada saat kami bertamu ke sana dibuatkan kopi; (3) belum pernah ada pelatihan terkait strategi pemasaran khususnya terkait packaging dan branding bagi santri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan solusi melalui pelatihan packaging dan branding untuk meningkatkan nilai jual kopi santri sehingga dapat membantu pemenuhan kebetuhan pondok pesantren secara ekonomi selain menumbuhkan jiwa entrepreneur bagi santri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dari santri yang mengikuti pelatihan ini. Santri memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan terkait strategi packaging dan branding sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai jual kopi santri.

Abstract

In 21st century learning, critical thinking skills are the main choice that must be mastered by students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of local wisdom-based science teaching materials in improving junior high school students’ critical thinking skills. Most science teachers still apply teacher-centered learning, so students tend to be passive. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The subjects of the research were grade VII students. Data collection techniques and instruments in the form of tests that include indicators of critical thinking skills. Data analysis used homogeneity test, Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test, independent sample t-test, and n-gain score. The results of the independent sample t-test are sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000<sig. α = 0.05. Students’ critical thinking skills in the experimental class were higher (N-gain score = 39.09%) than in the control class (N-gain score = 12.03%). Based on the study results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the application of local wisdom-based teaching materials in improving the critical thinking skills of middle school students in the moderate category.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa kelas VIII MTsN 4 Banyuwangi salah satunya adalah bahan ajar berupa modul yang digunakan kurang menarik dan berkarakter, dimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa cenderung rendah dan sulit memahami materi di modul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul IPA berbasis STEM yang layak dan menarik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and development (R&D) dengan menerapkan model pengembangan Nieveen. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII B MTsN 4 Banyuwangi tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Pengumpulan data penelitian melalui teknik validasi oleh ahli melalui lembar validasi dan angket respon siswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul IPA berbasis STEM termasuk kategori sangat valid dengan tingkat kevaliditan 92.5% dan memperoleh skor N- gain 0.42 yang menunjukkan kategori sedang sesuai dengan kriteria keefektifan modul, serta berdasarkan respon siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata pernyataan positif sebesar 3.27 yang termasuk kategori baik dan pernyataan negatif 1.82 yang termasuk kategori tidak baik.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused several impacts, one of which is in the field of education. Teachers must innovate to develop media to facilitate distance learning systems. One of the media that can be used is E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning. E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning, namely learning media that is presented in an electronic format based on Problem Based Learning. This study aims to develop Problem Based Learning-based E-LKPD to improve the science process skills of junior high school students. The type of research used is R&D research with development design using the ADDIE model. The results obtained are that the Problem Based Learning-based E-LKPD that was developed can be used as a learning medium during the pandemic to improve students' science process skills. This is because E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning contains a problem to be solved by students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using picture-based worksheets on the material process on learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with a posttest control group design. The data from the Independent Sample T-Test test obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.002 and the right-hand t-test which shows the results of the calculation tcount (3.362) > ttable (2.018) which means that there is an influence of process image-based worksheets on learning outcomes. Meanwhile, to test the ability to think critically using the Mann Whitney U-Test test which obtained the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.014, which means the significance value is <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is an influence of process image-based worksheets on critical thinking skills. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the process image-based worksheets significantly affect student learning outcomes and critical thinking skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bahan ajar berbasis metode hypnoteaching untuk memotivasi siswa SMP dalam belajar IPA pada materi energi terbarukan yang memenuhi syarat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini merujuk pada model pengembangan Thiagarajan. Subjek penelitian adalah  siswa kelas VII A, VII C, dan VII D SMP Negeri Genteng. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pengamatan, dokumentasi, angket, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis metode hypnoteaching dapat memotivasi siswa SMP dalam belajar IPA pada materi energi terbarukan

Abstract

The PBL model is a suitable learning model to make students actively involved in learning activities and is supported by media in the form of concept maps to attract student motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the PBL model with concept maps on the science learning motivation of seventh grade junior high school students regarding global warming. This research includes experimental research. The results of the study which were tested by statistical independent sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000, which means that it is smaller than 0.05, it was decided that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the application of the PBL model with concept maps on the science learning motivation of junior high school students on global warming material.
