Abstract

The Belitong Geopark, located in Tanjungpandan is one of the geopark areas that has extraordinary natural potential. The sustainability of the Belitong Geopark has become a concern in recent years, with efforts to utilize the geopark's potential to support the economic growth of local communities that have not felt a significant economic impact. At the level of business communication studies, we see that there are barriers to effective communication with the resulting economic implications. The methods of this study are observation and literature review. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using Em Griffin's semiotic analysis. The results showed that the sustainability of the Belitung Geopark has a positive influence on the economic growth of the Tanjungpandan community. The increase in Tanjungpandan community income is driven by increased tourist visits to Geopark Belitung. The increase in employment of the Tanjungpandan community is driven by the increase in economic activities related to Belitung Geopark, such as tourism, trade, and services. The increased welfare of the Tanjungpandan community is driven by increased income and employment.

Abstract

KUR is a government initiative designed to provide access to capital to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in order to encourage inclusive economic growth and job creation. This research uses the literature study method to examine the issue. The results show several important findings. Firstly, KUR has a positive impact on improving community welfare. MSMEs that obtain KUR access are able to increase production capacity, expand market coverage, and create new jobs that directly affect income and living standards. Secondly, there is an imbalance in implementation and benefits between MSMEs in urban and remote areas. More developed areas tend to enjoy greater benefits because they have more access to information and facilities than remote areas. In addition to geographical factors, the quality of MSME management also affects the effectiveness of KUR. MSMEs with better management tend to be more effective in utilising KUR funds for productive activities, while those with poor management have difficulties in optimising the use of these funds. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the access and benefits of KUR evenly across all regions along with management training assistance for MSMEs. In conclusion, KUR is an important tool to improve economic welfare through the empowerment of MSMEs. However, continuous efforts are needed in equalising access, improving the quality of management, and coordinating between stakeholders to maximise the potential benefits of KUR. Thus, this programme can become a significant pioneer in achieving inclusive economic welfare in Indonesia.

Abstract

Social media has revolutionized communication, creating new spaces for interaction and expression. This study examines the Stray Kids Yogyakarta community on Twitter (@straykids_YK), a fanbase for the South Korean idol group Stray Kids, established in December 2017. Although interaction on Twitter is limited, community organizers try to increase engagement by providing information about upcoming events and joint projects with other fanbase accounts, hoping to increase community awareness. This research, based on qualitative and case study methods, explores the role of the Stray Kids Yogyakarta community through interviews with administrators and community members. The study revealed that the Stray Kids Yogyakarta community thrives through active communication on WhatsApp, Instagram, and in-person meetings, despite limited Twitter engagement. Interviews highlighted that while Twitter needs improvement, the community is vibrant and well-connected, showing strong adaptability and dedication among fans. This indicates the community's ability to maintain robust connections and engagement across multiple platforms.

This study aims to analyze the research trend of digital leadership to discover opportunities for future research in government organizations, especially in the context of the immigration sector, due to technology adoption to carry out its functions. This study utilized bibliometric analysis to analyze research publications from the Scopus database and create as well as visualize maps based on network data using VOSviewer software. Three hundred and sixty-six (366) documents were taken with the keyword “digital leadership”. The results showed that the early discussion of digital leadership started in 2015 and significantly increased in 2024. Indonesia contributed the most research compared to other countries. This study was mostly affiliated with Bina Nusantara University and mainly written by Abbu, H. The visualization result showed this study connected to five clusters focusing on gendered leadership, e-leadership in education, digital innovations and sustainability, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital learning, and digital transformation and capabilities. The absence of public organization cluster, especially in the immigration sector, implies that this study gives opportunities to guide future research among scholars and practitioners

Abstract

Educating students in entrepreneurship is a way to enhance the number of entrepreneurs. At the higher education level, it is executed by incorporating entrepreneurship courses into the curriculum with particular emphasis. Attention must be directed towards various stakeholders, particularly the institutions that facilitate entrepreneurship education, to ensure that the program enhances not only quantitative outcomes (the number of new student ventures) but also qualitative outcomes (sustainable new ventures), even after the completion of the educational process. The presence of multiple objectives among members of the digital new venture group for interaction is a significant issue that requires additional investigation in this study. This research uses the Multiple Goals Theory framework in interpersonal communication to delineate the objectives of interaction as perceived by each member of the new digital venture group. The study employed a quasi-qualitative methodology, incorporating in-depth interviews, observations, and recording, involving 15 student participants from the new digital venture group and the facilitator. Every student in the new digital venture group possesses interaction objectives classified into three categories: instrumental goals, interpersonal goals, and identification goals. This study demonstrates that Multiple Goals Theory indicates the interaction objectives of students in the new digital venture group encompass primary goals, mostly categorized as instrumental goals, specifically aimed at achieving an optimal course evaluation and developing a new venture. In this study, secondary interaction goals, which are theoretically intended to impede the attainment of primary interaction goals, instead facilitate the fulfillment of those basic goals.

Abstract

Digital transformation at the National Land Agency (BPN) is a strategic response to demands for faster, more transparent, and accountable public services. This study aims to identify the forms of digital transformation that have been implemented and the challenges faced in their implementation. The method used was a literature review of ten relevant recent scientific journals. The results show that the BPN's digital transformation includes electronic land certificates, electronic mortgages, the Touch My Land public service application, land archive digitization, strengthening the digital competence of civil servants (ASN), an electronic queuing system, and service integration with Land Deed Officials (PPAT). Despite significant progress, challenges such as infrastructure, digital literacy, and inter-agency coordination remain obstacles. This study concludes that the success of the BPN's digital transformation requires a holistic approach encompassing technology, human resources, and supporting regulations.
