Abstract

The goal of this study was to ascertain the Talking Sticks method of English language learning, which is used in the English for Communication course at IPB University's Vocational School. An experimental methodology is applied. Qualitative research is the kind that this is. Tests and interviews were used as methods of data gathering. Three hundred students from the Vocational School of IPB University's Digital Communication and Media Study Program served as the research subjects. The study's findings indicate that people's speaking abilities were valued more highly. Pre-test scores average 74, post-test scores average 77 for the control group and 89 for the experimental group. It is clear from this procedure that Talking Sticks can be utilized as a learning tool to improve speaking abilities. Lecturers are able to observe how the methods of learning that are employed can improve students' English comprehension. Additionally, it is known from the interview process that professors can identify candidates with strong and weak talents by using the results of the pre- and post-tests.

Abstract

Research entitled Community-Based Crisis Communication Model Innovation (Case Study of Disaster and Pandemic Mitigation in Bogor City and District by the BORAC Community). This study aims to formulate a community-based crisis innovation model that is able to bridge the fulfillment of information needs, education, preparedness, empowerment of affected communities and social aspects. This study provides an overview of communication science applied to Disaster Mitigation, especially building a community-based crisis communication model during disasters and pandemics. This study used a qualitative descriptive method and a collection method with interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results showed that the BORAC Community succeeded in carrying out crisis communication and disaster mitigation programs including socializing information on COVID19 mitigation, local heroes programs, implementing programs such as Eid Gifts, Fasting Coupons, and Replanting. The results of sharing these activities have changed people's attitudes ranging from cognitive, affective, and psychomotor so that people have high preparedness in dealing with disasters and have high resilience in the event of a disaster. This model of crisis communication can be adopted by other regions.

Abstract

The Petshop business has been increasing recently. This is related to the economic capacity of the community and changes in several segments of society who are starting to buy food for their beloved pets, cats and dogs. Determining the selling price is a very important thing for Petshop business people to pay attention to in order to increase purchasing power and of course as one of the business people's strategies so that people want to buy animal needs at the Petshop. Apart from that, stock management must also be carried out well by the perpetrators so that there is no accumulation. Selling prices that are too high will cause stock buildup due to poor turnover of goods. This is proven by the influence of selling prices on stock conditions at Cat Care Petshop with a determination value of 82.6%. So Cat Care Petshop must regulate the selling price of feed so that stock availability can be controlled and does not pile up.

Abstract

The Berkah MBR Women's Farmers Group operates in the agribusiness sector and was founded in 2020. Urban farming development activities (cultivation, processing and marketing) by utilizing existing land and resources are carried out on a massive scale by groups such as the MBR Berkah Farmers Group. The research was carried out on urban farming land belonging to the Berkah MBR Women's Farming Group and residents in Katulampa Village, East Bogor. The analytical methods used are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics are used to describe the perceptions of the Women Farmers Group and residents regarding the use of Digital Marketing. The type of data used is primary data obtained through a questionnaire using a questionnaire instrument implemented via Google Form. Based on research results, the Berkah MBR Women's Farming Group has the perception that conventional marketing of urban farming products needs to be supported by digital marketing. KWT MBR also generally believes that digital marketing techniques using WhatsApp, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram are important to learn and apply because they can generate large profits.

Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai negara agraris, memiliki potensi sumber daya alam yang melimpah di sektor pertanian. Agrowisata muncul sebagai solusi untuk memaksimalkan potensi ini dengan menggabungkan pertanian dan pariwisata, menawarkan pengalaman unik bagi wisatawan melalui kegiatan langsung di lahan pertanian. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat lokal merupakan kunci dalam pengembangan agrowisata yang berkelanjutan, di mana mereka tidak hanya terlibat sebagai tenaga kerja tetapi juga sebagai mitra yang diberdayakan dalam pengelolaan dan inovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pariwisata berbasis komunitas, kewirausahaan regional, dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan agrowisata di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan agrowisata tidak hanya meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah dengan menciptakan lapangan kerja dan mendorong perkembangan usaha terkait. Agrowisata juga memberikan manfaat sosial, seperti meningkatkan semangat gotong royong, kesadaran lingkungan, dan keterampilan pertanian di kalangan masyarakat. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan pengetahuan perlu diatasi melalui kolaborasi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan pelaku usaha. Agrowisata berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat dan kewirausahaan regional berpotensi menjadi pendorong utama pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan

Abstract

Aglaonema ‘Siam Aurora’ is a foliage ornamental plant cultivar commonly used indoors, whose leaf coloration is influenced by shade levels. This study aimed to determine the effect of shade intensity on the vegetaitif and morphological changes of Aglaonema ‘Siam Aurora’. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatments: control (no shade), and shading using 55% paranet in one, two, and three layers. Observations were made on changes in leaf and stem color using the RHS Colour Chart, as well as on plant morphological growth. The results showed that shading had no significant effect on plant height, leaf length, and leaf width, but significantly affected the number of leaves during weeks 6 to 8. The color of the center and edges of the leaves developed optimally under all treatments, indicating the plant's physiological adaptation to low light conditions. Stem color differed in the early stages but tended to become uniform by week 8. Leaf shape showed initial variation but became uniform after the fifth week. These findings suggest that Aglaonema ‘Siam Aurora’ has high tolerance to low to moderate light intensity, and shading with one to two layers of 55% paranet is effective in maintaining leaf morphology and color. More extreme shading levels and longer planting durations are recommended to further explore morphological responses.

Abstract

Komunikasi organisasi merupakan aspek fundamental dalam mendukung efektivitas kerja, koordinasi, dan keberhasilan program dalam suatu institusi, termasuk dalam industri media penyiaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi organisasi dalam pelaksanaan program off-air ‘Damai Indonesiaku Festival Ramadhan’ oleh tvOne. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi penerapan tiga pola komunikasi utama, yaitu vertikal, horizontal, dan diagonal. Komunikasi vertikal memfasilitasi penyampaian instruksi dan pelaporan antara pimpinan dan bawahan, komunikasi horizontal mendukung pertukaran ide dan kolaborasi sejajar antartim, sementara komunikasi diagonal memungkinkan koordinasi lintas divisi secara fleksibel dan responsif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ketiga pola tersebut saling melengkapi dalam menciptakan sistem komunikasi yang terstruktur dan efisien. Meskipun secara umum komunikasi berjalan lancar, terdapat hambatan minor berupa keterbatasan waktu koordinasi akibat perubahan lokasi acara secara mendadak. Namun, hambatan ini dapat diatasi berkat kerja sama tim yang solid dan adaptif. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa strategi komunikasi yang efektif dan terintegrasi sangat diperlukan dalam pengelolaan program off-air yang bersifat dinamis, serta berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan efektivitas operasional dan keterlibatan publik. Studi ini juga memberikan kontribusi empiris bagi pengembangan literatur komunikasi organisasi dalam konteks industri media.

Abstract

Komunikasi efektif berpengaruh pada kemudahan Individu dalam menyampaikan pesan, begitu juga dengan kelangsungan penyampaian pesan perusahaan. Salah satu perusahaan perbankan yang berhasil melakukan campaign melalui media sosial adalah PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengelolaan media sosial TikTok dan oleh divisi marketing communication dalam meningkatkan citra BNI dengan pendekatan kualitatif deksriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, partisipasi aktif, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengelolaan media sosial TikTok dan X oleh divisi marketing communication PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. telah memanfaatkan berbagai langkah kreatif untuk meningkatkan citra perusahaan mulai dari tahapan pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Media sosial X BNI kini telah memaksimalkan banyak fitur dan kombinasi jenis konten guna menarik perhatian audiens X yang mampu meningkatkan engagement konten. Terdapat tantangan mencari ide, sehingga diperlukan strategi kreatif dan analisis tren dalam menjaga konsistensi daya tarik audiens

Abstract

One of the health problems that often occurs in young girls due to iron deficiency is anemia. Iron deficiency anemia can be prevented by using local food ingredients that contain high iron, namely chicken liver, which is substituted in the product pempek dos so that it becomes an iron fortified food. The research is aimed at developing a product of pempek with the addition of chicken liver. This study uses a complete random design (RAL) of one factor with three treatments. The results of the research showed that there was a significant difference in the hedonic test of color attributes. The chosen pempek formula is F2 with the addition of chicken liver 60 grams, F2 has an energy content of 346 kcal, protein 10.6 g, fat 5.7 g, carbohydrates 63.8 g, and iron 4.6 mg. This formula has a contribution to AKG as much as 16% energy, 16% protein, 8% fat, 21% carbs, and 30% iron.
