Abstract

This paper proposes a method to optimize the parameter of the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) using artificial immune system (AIS) via clonal selection. The parameters of LQR utilized in this paper are the weighting matrices Q and R. The optimal LQR control for load frequency control (LFC) is installed on each area as a decentralized control scheme. The aim of this control design is to improve the dynamic performance of LFC automatically when unexpected load change occurred on power system network. The change of load demands 0.01 p.u used as a disturbance is applied to LFC in Area 1. The proposed method guarantees the stability of the overall closed-loop system. The simulation result shows that the proposed method can reduce the overshoot of the system and compress the time response to steady-state which is better compared to trial error method (TEM) and without optimal LQR control.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the Effects of Promoion mix to Guest Buyer Decision in HW Hotel Padang. This type of research is a comparative study causal. Population in the research amounted to 1400 people. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, using insidental sampling. Number of sample in this research amounted to 94 people. Data collection using a questionnaire based with the Likert scale that tested for validity and reliability.  Based on these results by using the t test showed that the five indicators of the promotion mix (Advertising, Personal selling, Sales promotion, Public relations, and Direct marketing) buyer decisions as the dependent variable significantly with the value of R square of 0.813.

Abstract

Frequency dynamics is one of the important aspects of power system stability. From the frequency dynamics, the operator could plan how is the reliability of the electricity. The frequency can be maintained by controlling the balance between load demand and generation. To maintain the balance of the generation, the governor is playing an important role to increase the speed of the turbine and enhance the generating capacity of the generator (ramp-up). However, as the speed of the governor is slower than the increasing load demand, in the sub-transient area, the frequency may experience higher overshoot. Hence, it is important to add additional devices such as battery energy storage systems to enhance the frequency dynamics response in the sub-transient area. One of the important parts of storage is the controller. The controller must make sure the storage charges and discharge energy are in the sub-transient area. Hence PID controller can be the solution to make the storage operate optimally This paper proposed a novel PID controller on battery energy storage systems (BESS) to enhance the dynamics performance of frequencies. The five-area power system is used as the test system to investigate the efficacy of the proposed novel idea. Time domain simulation is investigated to see the improvement of the frequency dynamics response. From the simulation results, it is found that adding a PID controller on BESS could enhance the BESS response and result in frequency dynamics response improvement.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter harus menjadi pusat perhatian di dunia pendidikan, karena sejatinya karakter baik tidak dapat muncul begitu saja. pendidikan karakter isebagai suatu cara yang berlangsung sepanjang hayat dalam membentuk kebiasaan baik atas sikap dan perilaku pada generasi bangsa. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan istudi kepustakaan. Kemudian teknik yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data melalui beberapa sumber seperti jurnal, artikel, skripsi, tesis, dan informasi lainnya yang relevan dengan artikel ini. Studi kepustakaan diartikan sebagai metode penulisan dari hasil pencarian teori tentunya yang relevan. Tahapan studi kepustakaan artikel ini yaitu memilih data, menyederhanakan data yang diperoleh, penjabaran data, dan penarikan kesimpulan data- data yang diteliti. Data yang digunakan adalah idata primer berupa jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan skripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh program pendidikan karakter terhadap kepribadian isiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi program pendidikan karakter memiliki dampak positif dalam membentuk etika dan kepribadian positif pada siswa. Strategi dan metode yang digunakan idalam program ini secara signifikan mempengaruhi perubahan perilaku siswa, terutama dalam aspek integritas, empati, dan kedisiplinan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dinamika pengajaran bahasa Arab di SD Sunan Giri Malang dengan fokus pada inovasi, tantangan dan solusi dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Pendidikan bahasa Arab menghadapi tuntutan era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi, yang memerlukan inovasi kurikulum untuk memenuhi kebutuhan zaman. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan inovasi implementasi kurikulum dan mengidentifikasi tantangan serta solusi dalam konteks SD Sunan Giri. Metodologi kualitatif dengan wawancara digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Guru bahasa Arab di SD Sunan Giri menjadi responden dan data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum bahasa Arab di sekolah sudah menunjukkan kemajuan, namun masih terdapat tantangan seperti persepsi kesulitan bahasa Arab oleh siswa. Abstract

The most common problem in spark ignition engine is how to increase the speed performance. Commonly researchers used traditional mathematical approaches for designing speed controller of spark ignition engine. However, this solution may not be sufficient. Hence, it is important to design the speed controller using smart methods. This paper proposes a method for designing speed controller of a spark ignition engine using the bat algorithm (BA). The simulation is carried out using the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. Time domain simulation is carried out to investigate the efficacy of the proposed method. From the simulation results, it is found that by designing speed controller of spark ignition engine using PI based bat algorithm, the speed performance of spark ignition engine can be enhanced both in no load condition and load condition compared to conventional PI controler.

Abstract

This research explores the contribution of character education in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teacher education curriculum and its impact on the quality of education in these institutions. Character education is an important component in shaping students' morals and attitudes in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, which is an educational institution that integrates aspects of general science and religion. This article uses the literature review method to examine various studies and related sources that discuss the implementation of character education in the teacher education curriculum. The results show that the integration of character education in the teacher education curriculum not only enriches teachers' pedagogical competencies but also enhances their ability to shape students' positive character. Effective character education helps teachers in developing teaching methods that not only focus on academic aspects, but also on shaping students' moral and social values. However, challenges such as lack of adequate training and limited resources often hinder optimal implementation. This study recommends the need for strengthening character education training for prospective teachers, as well as providing better support from education institutions, to ensure that character education can be effectively implemented in the curriculum and have a significant positive impact on the quality of education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

In modern power systems, renewable-based power plant such as wind power system is integrated significantly. Among numerous types of wind power systems doubly fed induction generators (DFIG) is becoming favorable in the last few years. However, adding a wind power plant could give a new challenge to the power system, especially in frequency stability. Hence, it is important to control the frequency of the power system to be able to find its initial condition in every condition. Generally, the frequency of the power system can be controlled by using automatic generation control (AGC). AGC is used to maintain the balance between generating capacity and the load by adding integral control to the governor. However, with more and more wind power systems in the grid conventional AGC is unsuitable. Hence, it is important to have an advanced AGC based on the artificial intelligence method. This paper proposed the application of fuzzy-proportional integrator derivative (fuzzy-PID) for AGC in power systems considering the high penetration of wind power systems. From the simulation results, it is found that the proposed method can reduce the overshoot and accelerate the settling time of frequency better than using conventional AGC.

Abstract

Technological developments are very influential on the lives of the world's people, one of which is used for business purposes or known as Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce). Several E-Commerce facilities such as online transportation, online payments, online shopping, are practical facilities that are in great demand by the public. As an online food delivery service known as Go-Food. Go-Food application transactions or food orders have several contracts (multi-contract). This research is a field research. The data collected is analyzed descriptively qualitatively, that is, describes as clearly as possible the related data, then concluded deductively, that is, draws conclusions from statements that are general to specific. So that understanding the research results can be easily understood and understood. Some of the contracts in Go-Food transactions are as follows: PT. Go-Jek and merchants. PT. Go-Jek with merchants is an ijarah agreement. Transactions between Pt. Go-Jek and Driver, a collaboration between Go-Jek and drivers and known as the cooperation system (Syirkah). Contract between the consumer and the driver, if the consumer makes a payment using his own go-pay system, the transaction that occurs between the two is buying and selling, but if it is in cash, then there is a wakalah contract, here it will also be a qardh contract because the consumer owes it to the driver. Contracts between drivers and merchants, there are buying and selling activities between drivers and merchants, buying and selling represented by the driver to the merchant, representative transactions like this in Islamic law are known as wakalah contracts. With the istihsan method, economic activities that provide convenience and good benefits without harm and injustice to mankind can be answered and proven by the istihsan method, so that sharia economic activities can always exist and can compete with conventional economics.

Abstract

This article attempts to explain why the issue of sex change is still an important discussion topic in Islam. The phenomenon of transwomen and transmen is judged unilaterally on the basis of religious, cultural, and socio-religious doctrines. This study aims to be able to look further at the research gap from the previous studies by looking at the reception of transwomen and transmen in the view of Islamic family law as well as to discover the factors that have caused gender reassignment among transwomen and transmen. This paper has discovered that transwomen and transmen have suffered a stigma from religion and in society, and this stigma has been influenced by various economic, political, and religious, doctrinal interests. However, at the same time, there are cases that show religious legitimacy allows someone to change their gender. This research has been conducted using the literature study approach to investigate the reception of transwomen and transmen from the perspective of Islamic family law.
