Abstract

Vendor selection is a critical activity in order to support the achievement of company success and competitiveness. Significantly, the company has some specific standards in the selection. Therefore, an evaluation is needed to see which vendors match the company's criteria. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and select the proposed vendor in a web-based decision support system (DSS) by using the fuzzy-AHP MOORA approach. The fuzzy-AHP method is used to determine the importance level of the criteria, while the MOORA method is used for alternative ranking. The results showed that vendor 4 has the highest score than other alternatives with a value of 0.2536. Sensitivity analysis showed that the proposed DSS fuzzy-AHP MOORA concept was already solid and suitable for this problem, with a low rate of change.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan implementasi program Pengabdian Kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan sampah dan memanfaatkan kotoran sapi melalui lubang resapan biopori yang dilaksanakan di wilayah RT 04 RW 01 Kelurahan Wates, kecamatan Ngaliyan, Kota Semarang. Permasalahan sampah rumah tangga dan kurangnya kesadaran dalam memilah sampah menjadi fokus utama. Metode pelaksanaan melalui sosialisasi tentang pilah sampah dan pembautan lubang resapan biopori, serta peraktik pembuatan lubang resapan biopori dengan memasukkan sampah organik dan kotoran sapi kering. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman warga tentang pengelolaan sampah dan pemanfaatan biopori. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu meminimalisir genangan air, menghasilkan kompos alami, dan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan. Kesimpulannya adalah program ini berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi masyrakat dalam pengelolaan sampah dan pemanfaatan kotoran sapi melalui lubang resapan biopori. Diharapkan program serupa dapat diterapkan di masayarakat lain untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih baik dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan pelaksanaan Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang bertujuan untukmenangani isu-isu terkait pengelolaan sampah dan meningkatkan efektivitas pemanfaatan kotoran sapimelalui penerapan teknik lubang resapan biopori di area RT 04 RW 01, Kelurahan Wates, KecamatanNgaliyan, Kota Semarang. Permasalahan utama dalam upaya pelayanan publik ini adalah penumpukansampah rumah tangga yang berakumulasi serta kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam proses pemilahansampah. Pendekatan pelaksanaan melibatkan serangkaian aktivitas sosialisasi terkait pemisahan sampahdan langkah-langkah dalam proses pembuatan lubang resapan biopori. Selain itu, demonstrasi praktikdalam pembuatan lubang resapan biopori dengan memanfaatkan sampah organik dan kotoran sapi yangtelah mengering dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakatterkait manajemen sampah dan pemanfaatan lubang resapan biopori. Program ini diharapkan memilikiperan yang signifikan dalam mengatasi masalah terkait genangan air, menciptakan pupuk organik alami,dan mendorong kesadaran akan isu lingkungan. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dari penelitian ini adalahbahwa program tersebut berhasil dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah danmemanfaatkan kotoran sapi melalui implementasi lubang resapan biopori. Diharapkan bahwa upaya serupabisa diterapkan di berbagai komunitas sebagai langkah untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih ungguldan berkesinambungan.Kata Kunci: Biopori, Kotoran Sapi, Sampah Organik

Abstract

The rapid growth and widespread adoption of ChatGPT, an AI-driven natural language processing (NLP) tool developed by OpenAI, has garnered both positive and negative attention across various sectors. This study explores public opinion on ChatGPT using Twitter data. The methodology employs topic modeling techniques to identify the main topics discussed in relation to ChatGPT on the platform and conducts sentiment analysis to investigate public perceptions. This research is particularly relevant due to the recent release of the paid version of ChatGPT-4 by OpenAI. Understanding public sentiment and the main topics of conversation is essential to address potential risks, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure the ethical and responsible development of AI-driven NLP tools.

Abstract

The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) stands as a widely recognized and extensively utilized method for addressing the complexities of supplier selection across diverse industries. Acknowledged for its systematic framework, TOPSIS serves as a valuable aid for decision-makers in meticulously evaluating and ranking potential suppliers, taking into account a variety of criteria. This paper provides a exploration of the TOPSIS framework in the field of supplier selection, aiming to empower decision-makers with insights to effectively utilize TOPSIS as a strategic tool. The objective is to facilitate informed and optimal supplier selections. The findings can contribute to both theoretical understanding and practical guidance, emphasizing the strategic significance of TOPSIS in decision-making.

Abstract

The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a well-known and widely utilized approach for decision-making in various disciplines. The SAW method involves a step-by-step process that enables decision-makers to evaluate and rank alternatives based on their respective attribute values and assigned weights. Within this context, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive exploration of SAW for decision-making. This study demonstrates the utilization of the SAW method in supplier selection, which aims to streamline and optimize the supply chain management process for organizational business.The resultsderived from the study have revealed its practicality, effectiveness, and adaptability in handling multi-criteria decision problems, by examining its principles, advantages, limitations, and application based on real situations. It's important to note that the method's reliance on accurate weight assignment to criteria poses a challenge. This process can be subjective and intricate, especially when faced with conflicting objectives. However, SAW stands as a valuable addition to the decision-maker's toolkit, providing a structured and transparent framework for making well-informed choices amidst complexity.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) makanan kemasan kering bukan hanya pelaku bisnis biasa, melainkan elemen tak terpisahkan dalam dinamika bisnis Indonesia. Peran UMKM ini melibatkan kontribusi tidak hanya pada ekonomi, tetapi juga pada perubahan sosial dan citra produk Indonesia di pasar global. Artikel ini membahas faktor kunci kesuksesan UMKM makanan kemasan kering, termasuk adaptasi terhadap tantangan pasar, kolaborasi, diversifikasi saluran distribusi, dan respons terhadap tren kesadaran kesehatan. Pelatihan, pendampingan, dan pengembangan branding diidentifikasi sebagai kunci utama untuk memastikan keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan bisnis UMKM di tengah dinamika bisnis yang cepat berubah. Kesimpulannya, UMKM makanan kemasan kering memegang peran vital dalam perkembangan ekonomi Indonesia, dan strategi holistik menjadi landasan untuk memastikan kontribusi positif mereka dalam ekosistem bisnis yang dinamis.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia still face various challenges, including access to markets and the lack of skills in utilizing digital technology to expand their market and increase income. With the rise of the digital era, the use of digital technology and e-commerce can be a solution for MSMEs to enhance their competitiveness and expand their market. As consumer behavior shifts towards online shopping, technology-based marketing strategies can become a key driver in boosting the sales of MSME products. E-commerce offers opportunities for everyone to introduce products or services with unlimited marketing reach. Therefore, business organizations must be adept at identifying effective marketing opportunities in the digital era that are both cost-efficient and impactful. The main focus of this community service project is to increase the market share and sales turnover of MSME products in Bugangan Village, Semarang City, through appropriate marketing strategies. The stages of this service begin with preparation. In this stage, the community service team conducts site visits and initial field observations to assess the conditions and challenges faced by the partners directly.  Then, the preparation of materials to be delivered follows. The team prepares materials that are tailored to the needs of Bugangan Village. The third stage is socialization and implementation. As a result of the activities, 20 MSMEs in Bugangan Village, Semarang City, gained knowledge about online or digital marketing, product photography, content creation with Canva, Google My Business, and setting up e-commerce accounts.

Abstract

This study investigates whether digitalization reduces or reinforces the gender gap in working hours in Indonesia. Using the 2023 National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) and the Oaxaca–Blinder decomposition approach, it compares the working hour disparities between men and women in both digital and non-digital employment. The findings reveal that the gender gap in working hours is relatively smaller in the digital sector and is largely explained by observable characteristics such as education, formal employment, and training. In contrast, a significant portion of the gap in the non-digital sector remains unexplained, indicating strong influences of social norms and structural biases. These results suggest that digitalization can enhance women's labor market inclusion if supported by affirmative policies that improve access to technology and training. Meanwhile, the non-digital sector still requires broader structural reforms to achieve gender equality in working hours.
