Abstract

UMKM Zahra Florist, usaha yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan hamper dan buket di Lombok Tengah, menghadapi tantangan berupa branding yang kurang menarik dan minimnya pemasaran digital. Untuk itu, program pengabdian masyarakat ini dirancang untuk memberikan solusi berupa rebranding dan penguatan digital marketing. Program ini mencakup pembuatan label produk, papan nama usaha, serta pendaftaran akun media sosial Instagram, Shopee, dan penambahan lokasi di Google Maps. Edukasi diberikan kepada pemilik UMKM mengenai pentingnya branding dan pemasaran online. Pendampingan meliputi desain label, optimalisasi media sosial, serta pengelolaan marketplace. Dengan strategi ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya tarik produk, visibilitas usaha, dan penjualan. Program ini juga ditargetkan menghasilkan luaran berupa artikel ilmiah, laporan pengabdian, serta akun marketplace dan media sosial yang aktif. Target capaian meliputi peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas produk, efisiensi pemasaran, pemanfaatan teknologi, serta peningkatan kesejahteraan pemilik UMKM. Dengan mengadopsi strategi pemasaran digital, UMKM Zahra Florist diharapkan mampu bersaing di era digitalisasi, memperluas jangkauan pasar, dan meningkatkan profitabilitas

Abstract

English skill is an essential skill to be mastered by students nowadays. Since its importance, students need to focus on developing this skill as early as they can. Nevertheless, not all institutions could provide sufficient material and skill to be taught in the class. Based on some observations, students in panti asuhan Nurul Jannah still have some mistakes in speaking using the English language. Thus, efficient English training was needed by students in panti asuhan Nurul Jannah. Lecturers from Bumigora university who were experts in English did community service in panti asuhan Nurul Jannah. This aimed to increase students' ability in English and improve some mistakes and language errors that were still done by the students. This community service was done by applying several methods such as speech, discussion, etc. After several meetings of the training, students in this orphanage showed positive attitude toward the training and most of the students could improve their ability in English.

Abstract

The "Implementation of Everyday English Expression at SMAN 1 Gerung" project aimed to tackle the challenge of enhancing students' practical proficiency in English by integrating everyday language expressions into the educational framework. This initiative responded to the identified gap between formal language instruction and the practical language needs of students, particularly focusing on 10th-grade students at SMAN 1 Gerung, in collaboration with their English language instructors. The methodology involved a structured approach beginning with comprehensive pre-testing to assess baseline competencies, followed by an early evaluation phase to tailor instructional strategies based on identified needs. Orientation sessions were conducted to familiarize participants with the program's objectives and methodologies. The core comprised drilling exercises and continuous feedback, which aimed at reinforcing learning and refining language skills. The service yielded notable outcomes, demonstrating significant improvements in students' spoken proficiency and confidence in utilizing English expressions in everyday contexts. Despite challenges such as resource constraints, the active involvement of educators and the strategic implementation of instructional techniques fostered a conducive learning environment. These program's efficacy in enhancing students' English language proficiency and preparing them for practical language use beyond the classroom.
