Abstract

In today's highly competitive market, efficiency and effectiveness are essential for a service business. Processes in the organization must be planned and controlled, which is why management must do both. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe and recommend improvements to the internal control system in a consulting firm. This study uses a qualitative methodology that includes an in-depth review of one of the leading IT service providers in Indonesia. Budget planning and reallocation for projects are two areas where the top management approval process does not meet adequate internal controls. This consulting company can use Application Systems and Products in data processing (SAP) to integrate their internal activity processes, as a result of the proposed improvements from this research. Due to their status as SAP consultants, the company's costs will be lower than the cost of developing a new system.

Abstract

Islamic Economics regulates development through instruments of Islamic development funds including zakat, infaq, and alms. But the collection of ZIS funds is still low compared to its potential. This research is designed to analyze the influence of service quality, donor’s trust in donor’s loyalty. The population of this study was donors at the Sinergi Foundation institution. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling quota sampling with a total sample of 100 people. In addition, it also uses path analysis to determine the relationship of influence between these variables. This study indicates that, First, service quality has a positive and significant effect on donor’s trust. Second, service quality does not have a positive and significant effect on donor’s loyalty. Third, donor trust has a positive and significant effect on donor loyalty. Fourth, service quality affects the loyalty of donors through trust in donors as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Scholars and practitioners point out that the current low level of employee engagement in the workplace is one of the most worrisome global economic problems. The potential consequence of this phenomenon is a decline in job performance. Therefore, it becomes essential to understand the concept of work engagement, its meaning for employees, and its implications for employers. This study examines the development of research on the topic of employee engagement. The study aims to determine: (1) the development of the number of international publications in the field of employee engagement in the Google Scholar database from 2016-2022; (2) core journals in international publications on the topic of employee engagement, (3) a map of the development of international publications in research fields with the topic of employee engagement, based on co-words. Collecting data by conducting searches through Publish or Perish (Pop) with the keyword’s employee, engagement, employee, with the category of the article title, abstract, and keywords in the period 2016-2022. Data in the form of the number of publications per year, publishers, and journals containing articles on employee engagement and subjects were analyzed using Microsoft Excel. Meanwhile, the trend of topic mapping was analyzed using VosViewer software. The study results show that the 2016-2022 growth development of Google Scholar indexed articles in 2020 reached 193 publications (19.3%). Most international publications are published in the International Journal of Management Review as many as 17 articles. The results showed that the research on employee engagement was still dominated by transformational leadership and organizational culture. For further research, the authors suggest the need for additional data sources so that more research results are more accurate and comprehensive.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is useful to determine the effect of workload and work environment on the performance of employees of PT. This research is motivated by the phenomenon that competition between financial institutions is getting tighter, especially banking institutions. This competition is felt by Rural Banks (BPR) which is more specialized in micro, medium, and small businesses in West Java, so it is necessary to implement a strategy for maintaining BPR's performance still well. The implementation of a partnership strategy is one way that must be done to speed up time in business development. To implement the partnership strategy, BPR has to see what is the important indicator from the external and internal environmental businesses that have an influence. The population taken in this study is Rural Banks operating in West Java Province with as many as 237 offices. Sampling was done by proportional random sampling technique. The sample size of 149 is arranged proportionally according to the distribution in each Regency or City. The respondents are the President Director of each BPR, who understands the industry, competitive environment, partnership strategy, and performance. By using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) the results show that the external environment and the internal environment have a positive and significant effect on the partnership strategy variable with a coefficient of determination R Square 94.8%. The external environment partially has a positive and significant effect on the partnership strategy by 40.3%, the most dominant indicator being competitors. The internal environment partially has a positive and significant effect on the partnership strategy with 21.3% the most dominant indicator of shareholder capability.Keywords: external environmental; internal environmental; the partnership strategy. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena persaingan antar lembaga keuangan yang semakin ketat, khususnya lembaga perbankan. Persaingan ini dirasakan oleh Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) yang lebih mengkhususkan pada usaha mikro, menengah, dan kecil di Jawa Barat, sehingga perlu diterapkan strategi untuk menjaga kinerja BPR tetap baik. Penerapan strategi kemitraan merupakan salah satu cara yang harus dilakukan untuk mempercepat waktu dalam pengembangan usaha. Untuk menerapkan strategi kemitraan, BPR harus melihat apa indikator penting dari lingkungan eksternal dan internal bisnis yang berpengaruh. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah Bank Perkreditan Rakyat yang beroperasi di Provinsi Jawa Barat yang berjumlah 237 kantor. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Besar sampel sebanyak 149 orang disusun secara proporsional menurut sebaran di masing-masing Kabupaten atau Kota. Respondennya adalah Direktur Utama masing-masing BPR, yang memahami industri, lingkungan persaingan, strategi kemitraan, dan kinerja. Dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) diperoleh hasil bahwa lingkungan eksternal dan lingkungan internal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel strategi kemitraan dengan koefisien determinasi R Square 94,8%. Lingkungan eksternal secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap strategi kemitraan sebesar 40,3%, indikator yang paling dominan adalah pesaing. Lingkungan internal secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap strategi kemitraan dengan 21,3% indikator kapabilitas pemegang saham yang paling dominan. Kata kunci: lingkungan eksternal; lingkungan internal; strategi kemitraan

Abstract

The impact of the pandemic on MSMEs is believed to be greater than other sectors. One solution for MSMEs at this time is the Financial Technology strategy as the basis for a fiscal strategy because of its ability to increase financial transactions in the economy. Crowdfunding, which is one part of fintech, is currently emerging as an alternative for the government through the OJK in overcoming MSME funding problems. The research method used is descriptive. In Indonesia, crowdfunding is not familiar to investors or the public. This can be seen from the data that crowdfunding users are in the range of only 6% of all fintech users. Companies of Crowdfunding fintech have been doing digital marketing with various means such as websites and social media Instagram. However, where crowdfunding users are still very few compared to other types of fintech. For this reason, the authors suggest that companies can improve the quality of information that appears on websites, mobile applications, or social media both in terms of content and graphic design to make it look more attractive and informative, then sharpen the SWOT analysis so that better strategies can be found. to promote crowdfunding companies as well as MSMEs.

Abstract

Digital technology is continuously evolving, and NFT, as one of the blockchain breakthroughs, is receiving a lot of attention. The goal of purchasing NFT transactions on the Opensea marketplace is a fascinating topic. This article discusses the impact of brand image and brand trust on Opensea marketplace users' purchase decision, either partially or simultaneously. This article uses a quantitative research method. Non-probability sampling was used, with purposive sampling as the sample technique. Meanwhile, 133 people who have completed NFT transactions on the Opensea marketplace were polled. The findings of this study show that brand image and brand trust has a favorable and significant impact on NFT purchase decision in the Opensea marketplace.

Abstract

Loyalty is recognized as a key indicator that can show a company's success in a competitive market competition. Activities related to customer and company contacts can maximize the realization of customer loyalty, activities referred to as customer relationship management in which in technological developments there is the concept of e-CRM. The emergence of various online transportation platforms is a phenomenon that we have encountered over the past decade. This intense industry competition makes Gojek need to plan various strategies to be able to maintain its existence. This study intends to analyze the influence of customer relationships and involvement on customer loyalty among Gojek users. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a direct significant effect of e-CRM on customer loyalty, e-CRM on customer engagement, customer engagement on customer loyalty, and indirectly there is a significant influence of e-CRM on customer loyalty through customer engagement.

Abstract

The development of the food delivery service platform is supported by the increasing prevalence of the internet and the high number of smartphone users, which has created a dearth of online marketing-savvy business opportunities. This study compares generations X, Y, and Z in West Java to see how influential social media marketing is on e-purchase decisions using online food delivery services. A descriptive quantitative approach was used in this study. The data was collected using a questionnaire that was distributed online via Google-form to 90 social media users from the West Java region. Based on the findings of the study and the discussion, it is evident that social media marketing variables have a favorable and significant impact on e-purchase decisions using online food delivery services.

Abstract

Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat menganalisa, merumuskan, dan/atau merekonstruksi serta merevitalisasi strategi yang dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan distributor bahan bangunan untuk memenangkan persaingan; dapat mengimplementasikan model manajemen stratejik Hunger and Wheelen di perusahaan distributor bahan bangunan dapat meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan di dalam industri; dapat melakukan modifikasi terhadap model manajemen stratejik Hunger and Wheelen agar dapat sesuai diterapkan di perusahaan distributor bahan bangunan kaitannya dengan berbagai regulasi yang berlaku di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif.
