Abstract

This study focuses on the strategy of da’wa moderate from the religious figure, Islamic education institution, and Islamic boarding school (pesantren) that shows the peaceful face, tolerant, democratic that was accepted with the multicultural society and Muslim minority. The location of this research is Pesantren Manba’ul ‘Ulum in the Loloan Timur, Jembrana, Bali province it survived in the multicultural society. This study uses a qualitative approach. Informants were selected using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Meanwhile, data collection used interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses a three-oath analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Validity is based on credibility by using triangulation techniques on methods, sources, and theories. This study found the strategi of da’wa moderate Pesantren Manba’ul ‘Ulum in the multicultural society and Muslim minority are (1) continuing the culture “Ngeruwah”, (2) implanting the values of tolerance on learning processes for the student of pesantren and society, (3) accommodating majority groups (Hindu) in a non-religious agenda, such as education, sport, and other agenda.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the da’wa profile of Ustadz Hanan Attaki, the values ​​of character education in the da’wa material of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's millennial da’wa, and the advantages and disadvantages of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's millennial da’wa. This research is a qualitative content analysis research. The unit of analysis in this study were three videos of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's lecture uploaded on the YouTube shift channel with the title Beautiful morals of Rasulullah, the Hijrah TV channel with the title Learning Morals from the Prophet Muhammad, and the YouTube channel Salamulqolbi Channel with the title High Morals of Rasulullah saw. The results of this study state that the da’wa of Ustadz Hanan Attaki is a mission that serves to create millennials with digital media. The values ​​of character education in the millennial da’wa of Ustadz Hanan Attaki are character education for honesty, tolerance, respect, courtesy, responsibility, leadership, and fairness. The advantages of the da’wa of Ustadz Hanan Attaki are that the language and terms used are very close and suitable for the millennial generation, the material for da’wa is delivered in a relaxed and flexible way, and the da’wa media of Ustadz Hanan Attaki can be accessed very easily. While the weakness is that some of the terms used are rather difficult to be translated by the old generation.

Abstract

Exploring the implementation of an early childhood friendly school environment at the al-Husan KB is the main priority in this research. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and data triangulation as data collection techniques. The results are: 1) Al-Husna's child-friendly environment is able to provide facilities and infrastructure that can meet the needs of children to grow and develop without any obstacles, feeling safe and comfortable. A child-friendly environment is a place that can support children's rights being fulfilled without any obstacles or threats. The inhibiting factor for its implementation is that parental intervention, which is allowed to wait in the school environment, means that children often have difficulty moving around to play at the yard.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of character education in four countries: Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom. Each country has a different approach to shaping students' character, influenced by cultural factors, policies, and education systems. The study used a descriptive qualitative method to explore the literature and policies on character education in each country. The results showed that in Japan, character education is centered on the family with the philosophy of "ryosai kentro", while in Malaysia character education is inserted into the hidden curriculum through Islamic Religious studies. In Indonesia, character education is based on the values of Pancasila and government policies. The United Kingdom, influenced by the thinking of Thomas Lickona, focuses character education on morals to support democracy. Each country has succeeded in implementing character education in different ways but culminating in the formation of dignified human beings
