Abstract

Investment is the allocation of capital or resources with the aim of gaining profits in the future. Foreign investment is often considered the primary driver of economic development as it can increase the amount of capital available for development, create jobs, and introduce new technologies and management skills. In Indonesia, investment activities are regulated under Law Number 25 of 2007 concerning Investment and Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation, widely known as the Omnibus Law, which also regulates investment. Despite having various regulations, the protection mechanisms are often debated, especially when conflicts arise between foreign investors and the government or local parties. Therefore, it is important to study how legal protection and dispute resolution related to foreign investment in Indonesia are addressed. The research method used in this study is normative with a comparative, legislative, and analytical approach. The types of data used in this research are primary and secondary data, where primary data consist of legislation, while secondary data consist of published documents that are not in official form, including legal textbooks, legal journals, legal papers, and so forth. The data analysis technique is qualitative and presented descriptively by explaining, describing, and illustrating issues closely related to the topic, then drawing conclusions based on analysis using deductive logic in line with prescriptive discipline. The results of the study show that both Law Number 6 of 2023 and Law Number 25 of 2007 provide legal protection to foreign investors, although the focus and approach used to provide such protection differ.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah produk, harga dan promosi berpengaruh secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian Sertifikasi  Laik  Operasi  (SLO) pada PT. Jasa Inspeksi Kelistrikan Indonesia (PT. JIKI). Metode Analisis yang diambil dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Roscoe dan akan melakukan metode multivariate (korelasi atau regresi ganda) maka cara menghitungnya menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada variabel produk tidak berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, variabel harga berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, dan pada variabel promosi berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Berdasarkan hasil uji simultan dapat disimpulkan bahwa, variabel produk (X1), harga (X2), dan promosi (X3) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kepuasan pelanggan (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of integrated information systems, technological innovation, and e-business adoption on improving the performance of MSMEs in the manufacturing sector in Parepare City. The data collection method used a questionnaire that was distributed to 71 business actors using the purposive sampling technique. Members of the population as many as 103 samples consist of business owners and the marketing services. The data were analyzed using SEM from the AMOS version 23 application. The results showed that the integrated information system and technological innovation had a positive and significant impact on improving the performance of MSMEs in Parepare City through the adoption of e-business. Use of e-business as an intervening variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSMEs. The implications of this research are expected to be able to contribute to the progress of research in the scope of management and have an impact on MSME actors, especially MSMEs in Parepare City, both trading and manufacturing, by increasing the ability to implement e-business in business processes that can encourage MSMEs to adapt to information systems that integration and innovation of new technologies. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengoptimalkan branding Kota Parepare sebagai destinasi wisata maritim yang menarik bagi wisatawan domestik dan internasional. Kota Parepare, yang terletak di pesisir Sulawesi Selatan, memiliki potensi wisata maritim yang kaya, termasuk keindahan pantai, budaya bahari, serta kegiatan wisata terkait laut lainnya. Namun, meskipun memiliki sumber daya alam dan budaya yang melimpah, branding kota ini belum sepenuhnya dimaksimalkan untuk menarik minat wisatawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, serta observasi lapangan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas branding Parepare sebagai destinasi wisata maritim. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi strategi branding yang lebih optimal, mencakup penguatan identitas kota, pengembangan infrastruktur pendukung wisata, serta promosi yang lebih efektif baik secara online maupun offline. Diharapkan, optimalisasi branding Parepare dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, memperkuat citra kota, dan mendorong perkembangan ekonomi lokal melalui sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian (1) Untuk mengetahui Disiplin Kerja dan Beban Kerja berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada PT. PLN (persero) UP3 Parepare. (2) Untuk mengetahui Disiplin Kerja dan Beban Kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada PT. PLN (persero) UP3 Parepare. Metode Pengumpulan Data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Teknik Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampling jenuh dengan responden 67 karyawan. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Secara parsial, Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. PLN UP3 Parepare. Secara parsial, Beban Kerja dan Beban Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. PLN UP3 Parepare. (2) Secara simultan, Disiplin Kerja dan Beban Kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. PLN UP3 Parepare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of the Islamic Financial Management Study Program of IAIN Parepare using an in-depth SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. The main focus of the study is to identify internal and external factors that influence the competitiveness of the Study Program in the ever-growing Islamic financial education industry. This study uses the EFAS (External Factory Analysis Summary) and IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) methods to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the study program in order to improve its competitiveness at the national and international levels. The results of the study show that the quality of teaching staff and the relevance of the curriculum are the main strengths of the study program, while limited resources are a significant challenge. The study program also has the opportunity to strengthen cooperation with the Islamic financial industry and local government, although there is a threat from competition with similar, more established study programs. This study concludes that strengthening cooperation with industrial institutions, verifying funding sources, and increasing operational efficiency through digital technology are key strategies that need to be implemented. The implications of this study provide guidance for study program managers in determining strategic policies to maintain the sustainability and relevance of study programs in the future.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan karir, dan pengalaman kerja berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Unit Layanan Transmisi Gardu Induk (ULTG) Parepare, untuk mengetahui pengembangan karir, dan pengalaman kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja terhadap Karyawan pada Unit Layanan Transmisi Gardu Induk (ULTG) Parepare.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dan menggunakan program SPSS for windows 29.0. data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang bersumber dari hasil kuesioner yang telah diisi oleh para responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwan Pengembangan Karir Secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Unit Layanan Transmisi Gardu Induk (ULTG) Parepare, dengan nilai thitung > ttabel 8,131 > ttabel 2,018 dengan signifikan 0,001 > 0,05, secara parsial, Pengalaman Kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Unit Layanan Transmisi Gardu Induk (ULTG) Parepare. Hal ini hasil pengujian hipotesis uji t dimana thitung < ttabel -1,584 < ttabel 2,018 dengan signifikan > 0,05 ( 0,001 > 0,121). Dan berpengaruh secara Simultan dengan nilai fhitung > ftabel (87,041 > 3,22) dengan nilai signifikan 0,001 < 0,05.

Abstract

The telecommunications industry in Indonesia faces intense competition, prompting companies like Telkomsel to optimize pricing and brand strategies to enhance customer satisfaction. This study examines the influence of price and brand equity on customer satisfaction among Telkomsel’s 5G service users at the PT. Telkomsel Branch in Pinrang Regency. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected from 45 respondents through incidental sampling using observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature reviews. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using SPSS 26. The findings reveal that price significantly affects customer satisfaction (t = 2.649, p = 0.011 < 0.05), indicating that competitive pricing enhances perceived value. Brand equity also has a significant impact (t = 7.665, p = 0.000 < 0.05), with its stronger influence (beta = 0.707) highlighting the role of brand reputation in driving satisfaction. Together, price and brand equity explain 72.5% of satisfaction variance (F = 55.358, p = 0.000 < 0.05). The study concludes that Telkomsel should maintain competitive pricing and strengthen brand equity through enhanced network reliability and marketing to sustain customer loyalty in Pinrang Regency’s competitive market. These insights provide strategic recommendations for optimizing 5G service offerings.

Abstract

In the increasingly rapid digital era, this study reveals the key factors that drive digital food purchasing decisions at Perum Bulog Parepare, with a focus on product innovation and premium quality. Through quantitative analysis of consumer questionnaire data, this study identifies five important elements that influence buyer preferences: ease of use of digital platforms, superior product quality, competitive prices, attractive product innovations, and consumer trust. The findings show that consumers increasingly value seamless shopping experiences and high-quality products in the digital food ecosystem, with consumer trust acting as a catalyst in mitigating risk perceptions related to online transactions. The results of this study provide valuable insights for Perum Bulog Parepare to design effective strategies to face digital transformation, optimize platforms, improve product quality, and create relevant innovations. This study not only offers practical guidance for Bulog, but also contributes significantly to the understanding of the dynamics of the digital food market in Indonesia, becoming a valuable reference for industry players and policy makers in this sector.

Abstract

This study aims to observe and pay attention to the applicable legal norms in relation to the facts regarding the application of criminal penalties for perpetrators of child sexual intercourse in Mamasa, This study uses a sociological or empirical approach in Mamasa Regency. Types and sources of legal materials use primary and secondary legal materials, The factors causing the crime of sexual intercourse with children in Mamasa are low levels of education, the economy in this case poverty and environmental factors that can have major influences on a person's treatment. To prevent sexual intercourse with children, preventive efforts are needed such as preemptive, namely prevention so that the crime does not occur, then preventive efforts, namely action taken by authorized officers in accordance with laws and regulations, and repressive efforts, namely efforts to return perpetrators of crimes to further return perpetrators who have served their sentences to be able to return to community life.
