Abstract

This research is motivated by various sleep problems experienced by each individual, in this case, final year students who are preparing their thesis. Students are required to complete their thesis in order to obtain a bachelor's degree, but during the drafting process there are many obstacles which in the end make students difficult in the drafting process, so that it can have an impact on individual cognition which in this case is stress on students so that it affects sleep activities at night . The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is a relationship between stress and sleep quality in students who are preparing their thesis at “X” University. The method used is correlational quantitative. The subjects in this study were students who were compiling their thesis at "X" University, with data collection techniques using the Quota Sampling Technique with a total of 175 students using the Arikunto formula from a population of 1,746 students. Using Pearson Product Moment correlational analysis, it is known that there is a negative and significant relationship, which means that there is a negative relationship between stress and sleep quality in students who are preparing their thesis.

Abstract

The existence of this pandemic Covid-19 has an impact on some aspects like health, economy and education. This virus is spreading around the world specifically in education sector. During the Covid-19 pandemic, students around the world appliying distance learning from their home. This distance learning needs an adaptation process that making students stress in learning. Stress in learning makes many students feel pressure because a lot of assignments which causes the level of student resilience to decrease. Low resilience will make students to be anxious when facing their problems or make them depressed and make them study longer than usual. One of the factors that related to resilience is self-efficacy where resilience can increase or decrease due to self-efficacy. The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between self- efficacy and resilience in students who experience distance learning. The technique we will use is probability sampling with a cluster random sampling approach with a research sample of 100 samples. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between self-efficacy and resilience was r= 0.499** and p= 0.000 (p<0.05). The results shows that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and resilience. The higher the self-efficacy, the higher the resilience and it goes for the other way, the lower the self-efficacy, the lower the resilience. This research leads to the ideas for further research are expected to research other factors that have a relationship with student resilience such as religion or social support.

Abstract

The rapid proliferation of digital technologies has profoundly impacted adolescents, presenting both opportunities and challenges to their well-being. This study explores the concept of digital well-being among adolescents, focusing on the multidimensional nature of digital satisfaction, safe and responsible behavior, and overall digital health. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, this research identifies key factors influencing digital well-being, such as gender differences, socioeconomic status (SES), and cultural background. The findings suggest that effective interventions must be tailored to account for these contextual factors. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family-based interventions are highlighted as promising strategies, though their success may vary depending on cultural perceptions of digital technology and mental health. Additionally, the study underscores the importance of digital literacy as a protective factor, particularly for girls and low-SES adolescents who are more vulnerable to negative digital experiences. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on digital well-being by integrating these diverse factors into a cohesive framework. The practical implications for psychologists, educators, and policymakers are significant, offering actionable insights for developing targeted interventions to support adolescents in navigating the digital age. Further research is recommended to explore the nuanced effects of active versus passive technology use and to assess the effectiveness of various interventions across different cultural contexts.

Abstract

Middle School students are among the teenagers who are at risk of emotional problems because of their emotional instability. This study tested the validity of an intervention, Emotion Regulation Training for Middle School Students. The validity of this intervention module is tested in three stages: 1) Validation Test by professional judgment, namely two psychologists who have permits to practice psychology from the Indonesian Psychologists Association using Aiken's content validation method; 2) Module Trial on subjects that meet the criteria located in SMP Negeri 7 Tambun Selatan; and 3) Module Manipulation Check. The validation test results in the Emotion Regulation Training Module for Middle School Students consisted of seven sessions: rapport building, psychoeducation about emotions, situation selection, situation modification, attention deployment, cognitive change, and response modulation. Based on the three stages of validation tests conducted, an Emotion Regulation Training Module for Middle School Students has been produced that is valid, appropriate, and follows the psychology code of ethics.___________________________________________________________________Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama termasuk dalam remaja yang rentan terhadap gangguan emosional karena pada saat ini kondisi emosional siswa belum stabil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas program intervensi, yaitu Pelatihan Regulasi Emosi Untuk Siswa SMP. Pengujian validitas modul ini dilakukan melalui tuga tahap, yaitu Uji Validasi Oleh professional judgement yaitu dua orang psikolog yang memiliki ijin praktik psikologi dari Himpunan Psikolog Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode validasi isi Aiken’s, Tahap kedua dengan melakukan Uji Coba Modul terhadap subjek yang sesuai kriteria yang bertempat di SMP Negeri 7 Tambun Selatan, dan tahap ketiga adalah Cek Manipulasi Modul. Hasil dari uji validasi menghasilkan modul pelatihan regulasi emosi untuk siswa SMP yang terdiri dari tujuh sesi yaitu rapport building, psikoedukasi tentang emosi, situation selection, situation modification, attention deployment, cognitive change dan response modulation. Berdasar tiga tahap uji validasi yang telah dilakukan dihasilkan Modul Pelatihan Regulasi Emosi Untuk Siswa SMP yang sudah valid, layak dan sesuai dengan kode etik psikologi.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan lansia melalui keterlibatan dalam berbagai hobi yang bermakna dan produktif. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi brain gym, kerajinan tangan dari bahan daur ulang, dan bermain alat musik angklung. Program ini dirancang untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang inklusif dan mendukung, di mana lansia dapat mengeksplorasi minat mereka, berinteraksi dengan sesama, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka secara keseluruhan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kesehatan fisik, mental, dan emosional peserta. Lansia yang terlibat dalam kegiatan hobi menunjukkan peningkatan mobilitas dan kekuatan otot, serta penurunan risiko penyakit degeneratif. Interaksi sosial yang tercipta melalui kegiatan ini membantu mengurangi rasa kesepian dan meningkatkan rasa komunitas dan kebersamaan di antara peserta. esimpulannya, keterlibatan dalam hobi memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental, fisik, dan sosial lansia, dan promosi hobi merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk mendukung penuaan yang sukses dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia

Abstract

Tingkat resiliensi rendah sering terjadi pada masa remaja yang sedang mengalami masa transisi, terlebih lagi remaja dari keluarga dengan status ekonomi yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur hubungan antara regulasi emosi dengan resiliensi akademik siswa dengan status ekonomi rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh dari penerapan pelatihan regulasi emosi yang telah disusun dan diuji kelayakannya dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Sebagian besar siswa kelas VIII di MTS Nurul Anwar memiliki tingkat regulasi emosi yang sedang (81%) dan resiliensi akademik yang rendah (81%). Sementara hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara Regulasi emosi dengan Resiliensi akademik, dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.00 atau nilai p<0.00 dan nilai koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,770.

Abstract

The researcher's reason is because early adulthood is one of the transition periods from adolescence to adulthood. At that time, there are many feelings that are felt and thoughts in the mind about other people's judgments. Not only that, as explained above, at that time individuals are in the phase of searching for identity and forming broader social relationships. Social media, especially Instagram, is a platform that can facilitate interaction between individuals. However, it also often presents challenges related to social isolation. This phenomenon encourages researchers to explore more about how social media is related to loneliness and the level of self-disclosure that occurs among users, especially in early adulthood. This study was compiled by applying a quantitative approach method. Based on the results of research that has been conducted on 150 early adult respondents who use Instagram social media, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between loneliness and self-disclosure. This means that the higher the level of loneliness felt by individuals, the higher their tendency to express themselves through social media, especially Instagram.
