Abstract

Pengaruh latihan double leg bound dan knee tuck jump terhadap kemampuan smash bola voli pada siswa ekstrakulikuler Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 6 Samarinda. bahwa latihan double leg bound dan knee tuck jump memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan smash. Untuk mencapai prestasi maksimal dalam cabang olahraga bola voli, dibutuhkan komponen kondisi fisik yang menunjang sesuai karakteristinya, yaitu latihan double leg bound dan knee tuck jump. Bertolak dari itu, maka penulis ingin mengetahui: Apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara double leg bound dan knee tuck jump terhadap kemampuan smash? Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa ekstrakulikuler Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 6 Samarinda sebanyak 40 siswa putra. Dari jumlah tersebut yang dipakai sebagai sampel sehingga menjadi 40 siswa putra, dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling (sampel diambil secara keseluruhan). Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pola M-G (Mathced-Group Design) yaitu sebelum eksperimen dilakukan mathcing antara kelompok latihan double leg bound dan kelompok latihan knee tuck jump. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh dari penelitian dianalisis menggunakan t-tes. Hasil perhitungan statistik diperoleh latihan double leg bound dari t-hitung lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel, pada taraf signifikansi 5 % dari derajat kebesaran (d.b) 20-1 = 19 (7.760 > 2.021) dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa latihan double leg bound terhadap kemampuan smash siswa ekstrakulikuler Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 6 Samarinda. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan statistik diperoleh latihan knee tuck jump dari t-hitung lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel, pada taraf signifikansi 5 % dari derajat kebesaran (d.b) 20-1 = 19 (7.758 > 2.021) dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa latihan knee tuck jump terhadap kemampuan smash siswa ekstrakulikuler Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 6 Samarinda. berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan kepada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dan Sekolah Menengah Atas serta pelatih apabila ingin membina dan melatih smash dapat digunakan dengan latihan double leg bound.

Abstract

The Numeration Literacy Program organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Technology in the Teaching Campus Program is a program that aims to improve the quality of education. The focus of this research examines the implementation of efforts to improve numeracy literacy skills through the 6th generation teaching campus program. This research method is a quantitative approach. The location of the study was carried out at State Junior High School 3 Tenggarong Seberang, the study population included students and teachers. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews, documentation, as well as AKM pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the implementation of the campus teaching program batch 6 through collaborative activities in the numeracy literacy application program carried out, including school making, reading movement 15 minutes before learning, language month activities, literacy teaching in class, numeracy ice breaking, numeracy snakes and ladders, Literacy Numeracy quizzes and the application of technology adaptation. The results of the implementation of the program can increase students' AKM scores on literacy by 8% and numeracy by 3%. This study concluded that the implementation of the numeracy literacy program through the 6th generation teaching campus can improve numeracy literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between height and arm muscle strength to volleyball serving ability by health vocational school students. This study is quantitative descriptive which tries to describe the serving ability of students volleyball in relation to height and arm muscle strength. The population of this study is all students of SMK Kesehatan Samarinda, while sampling uses purposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique uses a height test with measurements, an arm muscle strength test with a medicine ball test, and a volleyball service ability test. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. This analysis uses the SPSS 20.0 program using a multiple linear regression test with a significant level of α = 5%. Based on the data analysis conducted in this study, the conclusions were obtained. 1) there is a relationship between height and upper serve ability in volleyball with r count (r0) = 0.445(P<0.05), 2) there is a relationship between arm muscle strength and upper serve ability in volleyball with r count (r0) = 0.635 (P<0.05), 3). There is a relationship between height and arm muscle strength together with the ability to serve the top in volleyball, there is a result of R calculation (R0) = 0.798 (P<0.05). From the results of the study, height and arm muscle strength are known to be related to the ability to serve the top in volleyball, in general, it can be drawn a straight line that students who have height and arm muscle strength can show better serving ability over volleyball.

Abstract

Structured physical exercise programs can have a significant influence on the psychological well-being of older people in nursing homes. Research shows that by designing an exercise program tailored to individual health conditions and needs, such as in consultation with a fitness professional or physiotherapist, older adults can reap multiple benefits, including improved mental health, enhanced emotional well-being and improved sleep. These programs can also help to increase the independence of older adults and reduce the risk of depression and other mental illnesses. However, the implementation of structured physical exercise programs in nursing homes can face challenges such as limited resources, individual health challenges, and lack of knowledge and awareness about the benefits of physical activity. Overcoming this requires a holistic approach that involves various parties, including nursing home staff, fitness experts, and the families of the elderly. With tailored program development and careful supervision, physical exercise programs can be an effective tool in improving the physical and psychological well-being of older adults in nursing homes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to conceptually analyze the problem-based learning model in improving students' critical thinking skill. The research method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The type of research was library research. Data collection techniques by collecting and analyzing documents descriptively, both written, image and electronic documents. The research results obtained were then presented descriptively in accordance with the research problems and objectives. The results of this research showed that the conceptual analysis of the problem-based learning model in improving students' critical thinking skill, namely Problem-based learning is a learning model that uses problems as a starting point for learning. In other words, problem-based learning is a problem-centered learning activity, Problem-based learning is a learning model that involves students to solve a problem through the stages of the scientific method so that students can learn knowledge related to the problem and at the same time have the skills to solve problems,  a learning model that uses real-world problems. This learning model aims to encourage students to learn through various real problems in everyday life that are related to the knowledge they have or will learn;, Problem-based learning model is a learning model that involves dominant student activities, the teacher acts as a facilitator.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how students' learning outcomes for the idea of harmonic vibrations are affected by the use of problem-based learning-based student worksheets. One of high schools served as the research site. A quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design was the study methodology employed. Purposive sampling was the method of sampling that was utilized. Multiple choice questions are employed as part of the test instrument. Two classes that the school permitted to be researched and that were split into experimental and control classes served as the study's samples. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test show that the application of problem-based learning-based student worksheets on student learning outcomes on the concept of harmonic vibrations produces significant results with a significant value less than the significance level. That is, the use of problem-based learning student worksheets has an influence on student learning outcomes for the idea of harmonic vibrations.

Abstract

Background. The learning of natural sciences at Islamic elementary schools in Central Ternate has not yet been integrated with the verses of the Koran. There is still a dichotomy between general knowledge and religious knowledge, even though all of this knowledge originates from the Al-Quran. Purpose. This study aims to dig deeper into the integration of verses from the Koran in science learning at Islamic Elementary Schools in Central Ternate City. This study uses a phenomenological approach to the triangulation model. Respondents in this study were 15 people consisting of 3 school principals, 3 class teachers, and 9 grade 4 students of SD Islamiyah in Central Ternate City. Method. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews related to research variables. The research data were analyzed descriptively.   Results. The results showed that based on the results of observations of learning activities in class 4 SD Islamiyah in Ternate City, it had not been found integrating science learning with verses from the Qur'an, meaning that learning only focused on science subject matter, had nothing to do with verses. Al-Qur'an related to science material being taught, but students' character building can be seen clearly when learning activities take place. Conclusion. The same thing was also obtained from the results of interviews with school principals, class teachers, and students that the implementation of learning by integrating verses of the Qur'an had not been carried out because the school was still carrying out learning by referring to the established curriculum, so there was no connection between Al -Qur'an and any subject matter conveyed by the class teacher.

Abstract

Technology trends have changed the educational paradigm, especially at the tertiary level. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a way to change the learning process with the form of games in education, this will make education in higher education experience increased efficiency and effectiveness in learning. However, a deep understanding of how artificial intelligence can improve higher learning experiences and their impact after graduation is still limited. This research aims to investigate how artificial intelligence helps learning in higher education and its impact on students' career preparation after graduation. The focus is on analysis of the implementation of AI in teaching, learning, and decision-making support in higher education institutions. The research method used is literature study and content analysis. Data was collected from scientific articles, books, as well as related research reports on the use of artificial intelligence in higher education. The data is then analyzed to identify trends, benefits, and challenges associated with applying AI in educational contexts. Research results show that the use of artificial intelligence in higher education has increased the personalization of learning, increased knowledge retention, and facilitated more timely and accurate feedback. Additionally, AI also plays an important role in helping students develop skills relevant to the future job market. The conclusion of this research is that by integrating artificial intelligence into higher education, institutions can improve the quality of learning and help students be better prepared to face the challenges of an ever-changing job market. However, challenges such as technology dependency and the need for proper training for educators and students must also be addressed so that the full potential of AI in education can be realized.

Abstract

Quizizz is a very useful gamification tool for use in innovative education in higher education. By using quizizz, can help and interest students in learning. In addition, by using Quizizz, can increase creativity, and can help evaluate learning easily. This research was conducted with the aim of seeing how effective the use of Quizizz is in higher education. Because in fact, the Quizizz application is a game-based application, which can involve the participation of all students in playing in class. The method used by researchers in examining Quizizz as a Tool for Gamification of Innovative Education in Higher Education is to use quantitative methods. The data obtained by the researcher was obtained from the results of the distribution of questionnaires. The distribution of the questionnaire carried out by the researcher was done online by using the Google From software. The results of the data acquisition will also be tested again using the SPSS application. From the research results, it can be known that Quizizz is very useful to be used in innovative education in higher education. Innovative education can be interpreted as a skillful, critical, and creative education. Therefore, Quizizz is very appropriate to be used as an innovative educational gamification tool in higher education, because Quizizz can present different learning materials than previous learning materials. From this research, researchers can conclude that with Quizizz, it can enable teachers to identify material that has not been mastered by students, and can measure the level of skills that have been improved by students. In addition, the use of Quizizz as gamification in universities can also train students independently to learn, such as making questions, as well as other interesting games that will be used to learn.

Abstract

This paper explores the views of John Dewey and E. D. Hirsch on determining quality educational goals, and compares the similarities and differences between their approaches. The main objective of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the two prominent educational theorists and their ideas on quality educational goals, and to examine how their approaches differ and overlap. To achieve this objective, the research methodology adopted in this study is a comparative analysis of the two thinkers' views on education. The study begins with a thorough review of the literature on the educational theories of Dewey and Hirsch, followed by a comparative analysis of their approaches. The comparative analysis includes an examination of their perspectives on curriculum development, experiential learning, cultural literacy, and knowledge-based education. The data collected from the literature review and comparative analysis is then synthesized to develop a comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences between Dewey and Hirsch's approaches to determining quality educational goals. The findings of this research suggest that while Dewey and Hirsch's approaches differ in their emphasis on experiential learning versus cultural literacy, they share a common goal of providing a quality education that prepares students for active and engaged citizenship. Additionally, both Dewey and Hirsch emphasize the importance of effective curriculum development and individualized learning. Education policymakers and practitioners can draw on the insights provided by this research to develop a holistic approach to education that incorporates the strengths of both Dewey and Hirsch's perspectives.
