Abstract

Transformasi digital membawa tantangan dan peluang signifikan bagi perpustakaan sebagai pusat informasi dan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi perpustakaan di era digital, termasuk perubahan perilaku pengguna, keterbatasan anggaran, literasi digital, persaingan dengan platform digital, serta isu keamanan data. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis library research, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan teknologi, serta perbedaan akses antara wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan. Namun, era digital juga memberikan peluang besar, seperti digitalisasi koleksi, diversifikasi layanan, kolaborasi dengan platform digital, dan pengembangan perpustakaan hybrid. Selain itu, perpustakaan memiliki peran penting sebagai pusat literasi digital untuk mendukung masyarakat dalam memahami dan memanfaatkan teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama yang dihadapi perpustakaan adalah keterbatasan anggaran, literasi digital pengguna dan staf, serta persaingan dengan platform digital. Keterbatasan anggaran menghambat pengadaan teknologi dan pelatihan yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan layanan. Di sisi lain, era digital juga membawa peluang besar, seperti akses informasi yang lebih luas melalui digitalisasi koleksi dan pengembangan layanan berbasis teknologi. Perpustakaan dapat meningkatkan perannya sebagai pusat literasi digital dengan menyediakan pelatihan dan akses ke teknologi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan strategi adaptasi yang tepat, perpustakaan dapat menghadapi tantangan sekaligus memanfaatkan peluang untuk tetap relevan dalam mendukung pendidikan dan literasi masyarakat di era digital.

Abstract

The research  aims  to analyze the effect of certification and professional skills on teacher performance in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) Lampung Province. Teacher professional certification is the government's effort to improve the quality of teachers through formal recognition of their skills. Teacher competency includes pedagogical, personal, social and professional skills. Teacher performance is measured based on their ability to plan, implement and value learning. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The research population consisted of certified MIN teachers from Lampung Province. The sampling technique is probability sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire which was tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses multiple regression techniques to examine the effect of certification and professional skills on teacher performance. The results of this study indicate that professional certification has a partial effect on teacher performance with a significance of 0.024 and competence has an effect on teacher performance with a significance of 0.000. The certification and competence variables simultaneously have an influence of 63.2% on teacher performance. These results are expected to provide empirical insight into the contribution of certification and professional skills in improving the performance of MIN teachers in Lampung Province, as well as provide suggestions to policy makers in efforts to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The main process in achieving success in the management of educational institutions is highly dependent on change management and its supporting components. In the change management at Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung, an overview of the implementation of the Formal Diniyah Education Program is presented. This program is rooted in the Kitab Kuning, which are classical Islamic texts that serve as references for the tradition of Islamic scholarship in pesantren. In line with the pesantren's motto, which aims to produce students who are qualified as true scholars (Ulama Sejati), this research aims to explore how change management is implemented at Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung. The researcher employed data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. For data validity, the research used source triangulation. The data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study show that change management at Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School includes the following phases: Exploration Phase, This phase involves an analysis of aspects that support the Formal Diniyah Education Program (PDF), such as resource needs, government policies, and local community perspectives. Planning Phase, This phase is crucial in change management, where the pesantren leader must develop clear strategies and plans for the implementation of the Formal Diniyah Education Program. Action Phase, In this phase, effective teaching and learning activities are carried out, educational facilities are developed, and strict quality control is enforced. Additionally, the pesantren leadership ensures that the Formal Diniyah Education Program runs smoothly even without permanent donors. Integration Phase, This phase represents the final step in the change management process. Furthermore, the study aims to ensure that the Formal Diniyah Education Program produces high-quality future scholars (ulama).
