Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the factors that effect teacher job satisfaction. In obtaining the data, a quantitsative approach is used with an explanatory coreeelational design because it aims to describe and measure the degree of relationship between variables in causal modeling using part analysis. The results showed that:First, leadership has a direct effect on teacher job satisfaction with a path coefficient of 0.173. Second, self esteem has a direct effect on teacher job satisfaction with a path coefficient of 0.173.

Abstract

Abstract — Cloud Computing is a combination of the use of computer technology (computing) and internet-based (cloud) development. Cloud is a metaphor of the internet, as clouds are often depicted in computer network diagrams. As with the cloud in the computer network diagram, cloud (cloud) in Cloud Computing is also an abstraction of the complex infrastructure that is hidden. It is a computational method in which capabilities related to information technology are presented as a service (as a service), so that users can access it via the internet (in the cloud) without knowing what is in it, experts with it, or have control over the technology infrastructure that helps it.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to find a model of organizational commitment of the head of the ECE unit which is built based on an associative causal relationship between exogenous variables with an endogenous variable. (2) to test and find direct and indirect effects between exogenous variables with an endogenous variable. This study used a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population was 750 people, and the samples were 238 people. They were collected using a purposive sampling technique based on the sample provisions by Isaac and Michael. Data were collected using questionnaires in the form of a Likert Scale technique with a Merriam technique test instrument. The data were processed using a Path Analysis. The results of the analysis show that (1) the direct influence of learning leadership on the organizational commitment of the head of the ECE units with a path coefficient of 0,119. (2) the direct influence of education administration knowledge on the organizational commitment of the head of the ECE units with a path coefficient of 0,406. (3) the direct influence of job satisfaction on the organizational commitment of the head of the ECE units with a path coefficient of 0,369. (4) the direct influence of work motivation on the organizational commitment of the head of the ECE units with a path coefficient of 0,175. The conclusion is that the organizational commitment model of the head of the ECE units in Medan City has been tested fit with proportional direct and indirect, spurious and unanalyzed effects with a dominant proportional influence that is (1) education administration knowledge of 26,42. (2) job satisfaction of 13,60%. (3) work motivation of 03,06%. (4) learning leadership is 01,41%. The suggestion is that if you want to increase the organizational commitment of the head of the ECE units, it is necessary to first increase the knowledge of educational administration and then be followed by job satisfaction, work motivation and learning leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of brand image (X1), distribution (X2), and promotion (X3) on consumer decisions (Y) to use J&T Express delivery services at Drop Point Krakatau Medan. The data used is data using probability sampling method, with a total sample of 98 respondents. The analysis method of this research uses multiple linear regression. The classical assumption test used has met the specified criteria, the t-test (partial test) shows that the brand image, distribution and promotion variables have a positive and significant effect on consumer decisions because the tcount > ttable brand image is 10.727 > 1.664, the tcount > ttable distribution of 2.698 > 1.664 and the value of tcount > ttable promotion of 11.872 > 1.664. From the results of the f test (simultaneous test) the value of fcount > ftable is 61,691 > 3.09, then this shows that brand image, distribution and promotion together have a significant effect on consumer decisions to use J&T Express delivery services at Drop Point Krakatau Medan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership style, work discipline and compensation on employee performance at the Regional Government Personnel, Education and Training Agency of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research uses field research methods to study the background of the current situation and the social interactions within it. The research object was carried out in this environment by taking 45 employees as samples. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires using a Likert scale for quantitative analysis. The analysis techniques used include validity tests, reliability tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. To test the hypothesis, this research uses the F test, Coefficient of Determination test, and T test. The research results show that leadership style and work discipline do not have a significant influence on employee performance, while compensation has a positive and significant influence. This research suggests that future research can expand literature or articles as a reference to facilitate research, as well as adding other variables that have the potential to influence employee performance. It is also hoped that future research will use more holistic methods and integrate quantitative and qualitative approaches to gain a deeper understanding of the complexity of organizational dynamics. Thus, future research is expected to provide more comprehensive and relevant insights for the development of effective human resource management strategies in complex and dynamic work environments.

Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of Students' Interest in Using Video Media in Learning at SMAN 1 Toho, with the aim of assessing the extent of students' interest in using video media in learning. Specifically, this research aims to evaluate significant differences in the use of learning video media between male and female students, as well as assess significant differences between class X in the use of learning video media. This type of research is quantitative with quantitative descriptive methods, carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Toho in September 2023 involving 106 class X students, consisting of Class Xa (28 people), Class Xb (25 people), Class Xc (27 people), and Class Xd (26 people), with the entire population used as the research sample. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire with 18 positive statements using a Likert scale and filled in via Google Form. The results of the analysis show that the learning interest of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Toho is moderate in using video media in the learning process. Factors that influence interest involve external and internal attractiveness, while the use of learning media that is less attractive also has a negative impact on student interest. Teachers' lack of understanding and skills in utilizing learning media also plays a role in reducing student interest. Even though there is no significant difference between the interests of male and female students, there are striking differences between classes in using video learning media. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers increase creativity in designing learning by utilizing videos to increase students' interest and enthusiasm in the learning process.

The findings indicated that implementing leadership learning was a moderate problem. Some items, however, indicate a high level of problem. Furthermore, there are no gender differences in the implementation of leadership learning problems or perceptions of student learning experiences. In addition, there is a high demand for leadership modules in universities, and there is no gender difference in the needs or perceptions of these modules based on student learning experiences. Therefore, we should develop the modules to meet the requirements and needs, ensuring the achievement of learning objectives.

Abstract

The field of ELT is advancing rapidly, requiring English teachers to adapt to these changes. Additionally, it is not enough for a teacher to independently implement all that ELT offers; they need to collaborate to share and discuss their insights. This small-scale research survey aims to present the reader with alternative strategies for professional development. The participant in the study was a member of APSPBI, selected through purposive sampling, and I conducted an online interview to collect the necessary data. The findings were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The analysis revealed that APSPBI engages in regular activities that support the professional development of an ELT teacher. Furthermore, APSPBI could serve as an alternative association for a teacher seeking to enhance their professionalism in ELT.
