Abstract

The objectives in this study are: (1) Want to know the effect of recruitment on morale teachers at MTs Nurul Huda, (2) Want to know the influence of career development on the spirit of work teachers at MTs Nurul Huda, (3) Want to know that recruitment and career development have an effect on the spirit of teacher work at MTs Nurul Huda. The method used in this study is quantitative in nature associative descriptive. In this study, the saturated sampling method is a technique of determining when all members of the population are used as samples. The samples used in this study are all teachers at MTs Nurl Huda are 25 people. Data collection methods with questionnaires (polls) that have tested validity and reality. The data analysis techniques that have been used are tests correlation, coefficient determination test, regression test and hypothesis test using SPSS 18.0 program. Results this research shows that Recruitment (X1) and Career Development (X2) have an effect on employee productivity (Y) of 81.3% while the remaining 18.7% is affected by variable otherwise un scrutinized. The results of regression and career development analysis of the spirit of work are obtained 4581 + -(6,375) X1 + 6,992 X2. This constant of 4,581 means that if there is an increase in the value of the variable motivation and work environment, employee work productivity is 4,581%. Based on hypothesis test F recruitment and career development against the spirit of teachers obtained results F count>F table =47.933>3.44. It states that it has a significant influence on the recruitment and development of career towards the spirit of teacher work at MTs Nurul Huda. The conclusions of this study are recruitment and career development has a significant impact on the spirit of work. In this study the authors advice and input to the school leadership of MTs Nurul Huda, namely the need for school policy in improving recruitment, career development and work spirit significantly.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance of the employee of a HVAC industry in Tangerang which are mediated by readiness for change. Data collection was done by simple random sampling technique and the returned and valid questionnaire results were 224 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that transformational leadership have not significant effect on the employee performance, but transformational leadership have a positive and significant effect on readiness for change. This study conclude also that readiness for change have a positive and significant effect on relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. Readiness for change as fully mediator. This new research proposed a model for building employee performance among the employee of a HVAC industry in Tangerang through enhancing transformational leadership practice with readiness for change as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve employee readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Abstrak  - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan di salah salah satu industri otomotif di Banten yang dimediasi oleh kesiapan untuk perubahan. Pengumpulan data penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling terhadap 294 orang populasi dan hasil kuesioner yang kembali dan valid adalah 205 orang sebagai sampel. Pemrosesan data menggunakan metode SEM dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, tetapi kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan untuk berubah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan juga bahwa kesiapan untuk berubah memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kinerja karyawan. Kesiapan untuk berubah sebagai full-mediator. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sebuah model untuk membangun kinerja karyawan di antara karyawan industri otomotif di Banten melalui peningkatan praktik kepemimpinan transformasional dengan kesiapan untuk berubah sebagai mediator. Penelitian ini dapat membuka jalan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan karyawan dalam menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan transformasional, kesiapan untuk berubah, kinerja karyawan

Abstract

This research aims to develop a prototype IoT-based water flow sensor to monitor water flow in real-time. This prototype uses micro-scale water flow sensor technology that is sensitive and efficient in energy use. It combines it with an IoT-based wireless communication module to send water flow data to the server. The data obtained from these sensors can then be accessed and analyzed via the web or mobile application. This prototype also incorporates a monitoring element, where users can monitor water flow remotely via a mobile or web application.

Abstract

PKS PT. Torus Ganda Tambusai Timur, located in Tambusai Village, Tambusai District, Rokan Hulu Regency, is a palm oil factory that produces Crude Palm Oil (CPO) with a production capacity of 60 tons of FFB per hour. The processing processes at this PKS include weighing, boiling, pressing, pulverizing, refining, and extracting the core at PKS PT. East Tambusai Double Torus, the Sterilizer used is a Horizontal Sterilizer, which has an elongated cylinder shape and is positioned horizontally using lorry transportation to transport fresh fruit bunches. The boiling process uses saturated steam with a three-peak boiling system. This research aims to determine the efficiency of the hydraulic pump needed to move the actuator on the Sterilizer door at PT. East Tambusai Double Torus. The object of this research is the Horizontal Sterilizer at PKS PT. East Tambusai Double Torus focuses on determining the efficiency of the hydraulic pump needed to drive the actuator on the Sterilizer door and maintaining the hydraulic pump. The conclusion of this research shows that maintenance is essential in a factory because it helps manage company expenses. After observations and discussions, the efficiency of the hydraulic pump in moving the actuator on the sterilizer door was obtained at 86%.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi telah menciptakan banyak peluang bagi wirausaha muda untuk mengembangkan dan memperluas operasi bisnis mereka. Oleh karena itu, internet telah mendorong munculnya kewirausahaan digital (digital entrepreneurship) sebagai bentuk kewirausahaan yang berkembang di antara banyak pengusaha muda dan bahkan mahasiswa, yang memang menjadi generasi digital native. Penelitian ini mengkaji sejauh mana karakter personal atau ciri-ciri pribadi digital natives dari kalangan mahasiswa di Indonesia berdampak pada niat kewirausahaan digital (digital entrepreneurship intention) mereka. Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak langsung dari lima karakter personal yang diadopsi dari the big five personal traits, yaitu openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism, terhadap sikap pribadi (attitude) dan digital entrepreneurship intention. Untuk tujuan ini, responden penelitian ini adalah 254 mahasiswa Indonesia dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling. Pemodelan persamaan struktural menggunakan SEM SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil studi ini mengungkapkan bahwa semua hipotesis terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan, yakni kelima karakter personal mahasiswa (agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, neuroticism, dan openness to experience) berpengaruh positif terhadap sikap pribadi (attitude). Selanjutnya, variabel sikap pribadi (attitude) juga berpengaruh positif terhadap digital entrepreneurship intention. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi pada kesenjangan penelitian tentang karakter personal the big five personal traits, sikap pribadi dan digital entrepreneurship intention. Implikasi teoritis dan praktis telah dibahas dan menjadi rekomendasi penting bagi proyeksi masa depan para mahasiswa, dosen pendidik, dan juga bagi kebijakan manajemen di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kesadaran tentang polusi telah menyebabkan pengembangan solusi untuk masalah lingkungan dengan memaksimalkan pemanfaatan biomassa yang berlimpah untuk pembuatan nanokarbon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan limbah padat kelapa sawit menjadi material yang memiliki nilai guna dan nilai ekonomis menjadi nanokarbon dan material yang berteknologi tinggi. nanokarbon yang berasal dari pelepah dan cangkang sawit yang dibuat melalui metode hidrotermal dengan 180oC selama 2 jam dengan pelarut air dan dilakukan metode ultrasonikasi selama 15 menit. Nanokarbon yang didapat  dikarakterisasi menggunakan Fourier Tranform Infrared (FTIR), X-Ray Difraktometer (XRD), dan Particle Size Analyzer (PSA). Dari hasil analisa gugus fungsi menggunakan FTIR telah menunjukan gugus fungsi nanokarbon dan ditemukan perubahan ukuran partikel yang sangat signifikan dari proses sebelum dan sesudah proses hidrotermal, yaitu 895,2 nm menjadi 334,2 nm. Peningkatan volume pori dan luas permukaan partikel masing-masing sebesar 3,5% dan 63% setelah proses hidrotermal.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of religion and work-family conflict on employee performance by utilizing job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The workforce of the manufacturing industry will be used as the sample population, and there will be a total of 120 individuals involved in the study. For the purpose of this study, the data gathering method that was utilized was a questionnaire. The analysis method that was utilized was Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), and the SmartPLS version 3.0 was utilized. The result of this research showed that religiosity has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, the work-family conflict has a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, religiosity has a significant positive effect on employee performance, work-family conflict does not significantly affect employee performance, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect to employee performance, religiosity has a significant positive effect to employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable, work-family conflict does not significantly affect the employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. It is possible that the findings of this study could serve as a foundation for enhancing and sustaining the performance of an organization by focusing on religious improvement and addressing the work-family conflict that is encountered by working individuals.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh besarnya bukaan slice terhadap kecepatan alir stock dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap formasi kertas, sehingga kualitas kertas yang dihasilkan tetap terjaga memenuhi kriteria konsumen. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan persamaan bernoulli dengan azas kontinuitas fluida. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa  kecepatan kecepatan alir stock dengan bukaan slice kecil dengan bukaan 7 mm adalah sebesar 17,33 m/s dan kecepatan alir stock dengan bukaan slice besar dengan bukaan 8,4 mm adalah sebesar 12,02 m/s. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bukaan slice yang besar pada headbox mengakibatkan kecepatan alirnya akan lambat dan kualitas pembentukan formasi kertas tidak akan sesuai standar dan pada bukaan slice yang kecil pada headbox mengakibatkan kecepatan alirnya semakin cepat dan kualitas yang dihasilkan akan sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

The decreasing availability of adhesive raw materials and the emergence of formaldehyde emissions from gluing material products to the environment, require a substitute material in the manufacture. Lignin from oil palm fronds has the potential as an alternative environmentally friendly adhesive in the composite board industry and offers a sustainable agricultural waste management solution because of its abundant availability. This study is a laboratory experiment, the utilization of lignin from oil palm fronds, which will later be applied as a composite wood adhesive. From the results of the study obtained. copolymerization with resorcinol and formaldehyde produces lignin resorcinol formaldehyde (LRF) resin which is tested for adhesive appearance, pH/acidity, specific gravity, and viscosity of LRF adhesive at room temperature and residual evaporation levels at 105 oC. Product characterization includes testing the physical and mechanical properties of composite boards including Fracture Strength (Modulus of Rufture) and Flexural Strength or Modulus of Elasticity (MOE) from the test results of this lignin-based adhesive which meets the specified requirements.
