Abstract

Knowledge about clean and healthy life in children needs to be given early to shape behavior in everyday life. Knowledge about healthy living can be provided at school through various learning programs. This study aims to find the effectiveness of health promotion programs (JUMSIH) to increase children's knowledge about clean and healthy living. The research method is a pre-experimental one-shot case study design. The respondents of this study were 68 students aged 7-8 years. The results showed that the JUMSIH program can help children have knowledge about healthy living. Based on data analysis, n = 15 generally obtained scores above 2.6. It was concluded that healthy living skills are often performed by students such as hand washing, bathing, and toothbrush behavior which are basic skills for children to be able to live healthy lives. Suggestions for further research which is the development of various programs to increase awareness of clean and healthy living from an early age. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of seesaw as a digital learning innovation to improve student information literacy. This type of research method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design and uses a one-group pretest-posttest with control group design. The sample used was 100 second semester students of Elementary School Teacher Education, Jakarta State University selected with technique a probability sample. The results of this study prove that the use of-based digital learning seesaw obtained significant values so that it is effectively used in improving student information literacy. This digital learning design requires students to be selective in analyzing and evaluating information generated from different sources. This research can be used as input for education practitioners, especially lecturers in developing learning that adapts to the needs of the times and still requires students to have information literacy.

Abstract

The alpha generation is another term for children born in 2010 to 2025. The alpha generation is closely related to the use of technology products, especially gadgets. Therefore, this generation is also called the digital generation. Technology offers many benefits to humans, but technology can also create opportunities for students to exhibit deviant behavior. This is a special concern for teachers because it can affect the development and change of student behavior, especially basic education students. Therefore, teachers need to know what challenges and strategies can be applied in dealing with students from the alpha generation. Therefore, this study aims to identify challenges and strategies that can be applied by teachers in dealing with this generation of students based on behavioristic theory. This research is qualitative research with the method used is a literature study. Data is obtained from journals, articles, books and other documentation related to this topic. Based on the analysis of the results of the literature study, it was found that the challenges faced by teachers are related to mastery of technology and teachers' creativity in creating innovative and differentiated learning and becoming inspiring mentors for students. With this research, it is hoped that it can be knowledge for teachers in dealing with students at school based on its characteristics. So that the learning process and knowledge transfer can run well and achieve national education goals.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for a valid and reliable instrument to measure the mathematical disposition of elementary school students in Indonesia, which includes students' views, emotions, and attitudes towards mathematics and learning as a whole. The main purpose of this study is to develop and test the validity and reliability of questionnaire instruments that can be used by educators in evaluating student characteristics in learning mathematics. This study uses a development research method with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) that has been adapted. The research subjects consisted of elementary school students in Indonesia. Data was collected through the distribution of developed questionnaires, then analyzed using validity and reliability tests. Item validity was tested by correlation analysis, while instrument reliability was analyzed using Cronbach's Alpha. The results showed that the developed instrument had high reliability, although there were some invalid items that needed to be revised. In conclusion, this instrument is considered valid, reliable, and practical to be used to evaluate students' mathematical dispositions. The implication of this study is that the instrument developed can help educators in designing more effective mathematics learning strategies based on the characteristics of student disposition.

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: The phenomenon explored in this study is the digital divide and its impact on elementary education, specifically how disparities in access to technology and digital literacy training affect student learning outcomes. In many developing regions, such as rural areas in Indonesia, schools face a significant lack of digital infrastructure, which prevents students from benefiting from technology-enhanced learning. Furthermore, even in urban areas where digital tools are available, gaps in teacher development hinder the effective integration of technology into classroom instruction. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how the digital divide and teacher development challenges intersect to affect educational outcomes in elementary schools. Novelty: This research is novel in its focus on the interplay between the digital divide and teacher development, an area that is often addressed separately in education research. Research Methods: This study adopts a qualitative research approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews with teachers and administrators, as well as classroom observations to gather in-depth insights. Thematic analysis is used to identify key patterns and challenges related to digital access and teacher development. Results: The results indicate that while access to technology is a major barrier in rural schools, even in urban settings, inadequate teacher training hampers the effective use of digital tools. Teacher development, especially in digital literacy, emerges as a critical factor in bridging the digital divide
