Abstract

The principal did not carry out the task of supervising teacher teaching optimally and the supervision carried out was more bureaucratic and autocratic, emphasizing hierarchy. Another fact is that 44% of teachers do not like the supervision carried out in the classroom by both the principal and his deputy, and 5.88% of secondary school teachers do not agree with teaching observations. This is urgent to conducted research because there is a difference between theory and reality. This research aimed to analyze the effect of supervision on the teaching performance of teachers in secondary schools. Methods in quantitative research. The subjects were 33 secondary school teachers. The data collection technique uses a set of teaching and learning observation instruments that have been adapted and used by all schools to assess and manage educational programs. Analysis techniques, teacher teaching performance is measured based on Daily Learning Plans, induction tools, teaching delivery, questioning techniques, student involvement, reinforcement, student training, and assignments, checking student training and assignments, learning closure, and classroom management before and after clinical supervision. The results found in this research indicate that teachers in schools experience deficiencies in planning learning in the classroom. It was found that clinical supervision also helps teachers improve the teaching and learning process more effectively so that teaching can improve student mastery. Conclusion, Clinical supervision can be used as a guide for teachers and students in secondary schools to improve knowledge. The research implications provide a complete picture of clinical supervision in improving student preparation and knowledge.

Abstract

Panel surya semakin banyak digunakan untuk berbagai tujuan, bukan hanya untuk pencahayaan rumah. Panel surya atau sel surya sekarang juga digunakan sebagai tenaga penggerak air untuk pengairan. Penggunaan panel surya yang semakin masif merupakan sebuah peluang yang besar terutama bagi generasiĀ  muda. Fenomena saat ini menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya tenaga kerja dalam pemasangan instalasi panel surya sedangkan permintaan pasar untuk tenaga pemasang panel surya semakin tinggi. Sungguh menguntungkan jika masyarakat dapat dididik tentang cara memasang sistem listrik tenaga surya. Studi lapangan awal menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan panel surya sangat menguntungkan karena membantu rumah hunian mengurangi biaya listrik bulanan yang harus dibayarkan ke PT PLN (Persero). Pada saat ini, sebagian besar panel surya tidak dapat berfungsi karena beberapa komponen rusak, seperti panel surya, fitting, dan aki. Masyarakat tidak memahami sistem dan cara memperbaikinya, sehingga panel surya tidak berfungsi dan pada akhirnya didiamkan begitu saja. Orang-orang akhirnya memilih kembali menggunakan listrik dari jaringan PT. PLN (Persero). pengabdian ini bertujuan melatih para generasi muda yang dimulai dari siswa-siswa sekolah menengah kejuaruan (SMK). Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan praktek pemasangan komponen system panel surya seperti: install panel surya, memilih inverter dan memasangnya serta merangkai rangkaian pengontrol cas baterai. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat berupa pemasangan dan pelatihan PLTS telah berjalan sukses. Peserta pelatihan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam mengikuti seluruh tahapan pelatihan, mulai dari teori hingga praktik langsung. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pemasangan dan pemeliharaan PLTS.

Abstract

Strengthening the capacity of English language teaching methods at the elementary school level is a strategic step in responding to globalization and improving the quality of education. This research was conducted at MIN 2 Lhokseumawe City, focusing on the development of innovative, interactive, and contextual teaching methods. The approaches used include communicative learning, project-based learning, and the integration of digital media to actively enhance students’ language skills. The initiative involved collaboration among UIN Sultanah Nahrasiah, UNIKI, and Malikussaleh University through teacher training, professional mentoring, and learning evaluation. The results showed increased student interest, engagement, and basic English proficiency. Teachers also became more skilled in designing adaptive and enjoyable learning strategies. This research emphasizes the importance of synergy between madrasahs and universities in developing applicable learning models. It is expected that the outcomes of this initiative will serve as a reference for other madrasahs in improving the effectiveness of English language learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bagimana IAIN Lhokseumawe mengembangkan dosen dalam meningkatkan publikasi ilmiah melalui pemberdayaan Professional Learning Community. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan partisipan mulai dari wakil rektor, dekan, dan dosen. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pada IAIN Lhokseumawe belum memiliki sistem pengelola pengembangan dosen secara terstruktur dan dosen mengembangkan dirinya secara mandiri, sehingga produktivitas kinerja publikasi dosen pada IAIN Lhokseumawe terjadi penurunan dari sejak tahun 2021 sampai dengan tahun 2022, ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja publikasi pada IAIN Lhokseumawe terjadi penurunan setiap tahun dalam dua tahun terakhir. Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kinerja publikasi dilakukan pengembangan dosen melalui pemberdayaan Professional Learning Community dengan tahapan 1) membagikan pengalaman dosen publikasi ilmiah dengan sesama dosen, 2) mengkaji kembali secara logis dan kritis terhadap kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam menghasilkan publikasi ilmiah melalui kegiatan reflective study, 3) membuat komitmen bersama dalam menghasilkan dan meningkatkan publikasi ilmiah, dan 4) membetuk kelompok baru sesuai dengan keilmuan dosen dan 5)menetapakan rencana tindak lanjut. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pemberdayaan Professional Learning Community dosen dengan memberikan pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah dan pelatihan metode publikasi artikel ilmiah. Peningkatan produktivitas kinerja publikasi dosen dapat dilakukan oleh IAIN Lhokseumawe dengan membentuk sistem pengembangan dosen secara terstruktur melalui; perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan monitoring serta evaluasi dalam rangka memberdayakan Professional Learning Community

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the development team's role in improving the quality of education at MTsN 1 Aceh Timur. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research explores local dynamics and challenges faced during program implementation. The results indicate that the development team significantly contributes to increasing institutional attractiveness, transforming learning processes, and strengthening networks with various stakeholders. Despite managerial challenges such as resource limitations and increased workloads, adaptive strategies and the establishment of a quality assurance team are expected to address these obstacles. This research also highlights the importance of collaboration among managers, educators, and students in creating a conducive environment for quality improvement in education. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on the collective role of the development team within the specific context of madrasahs. Future research is recommended to explore more integrated collaborative models and involve the perspectives of students and parents in program evaluations.
