Abstract

This article examined the strengthening of Aswaja An-Nahdliyah’s understanding as an effort to anticipate radicalism for Islamic education teacher candidates at the Faculty of Tarbiyah, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya. The type of this article was qualitative with a Participatory Action Research approach and the method of extracting initial condition data and coaching related to Aswaja An-Nahdliyah material as an effort to anticipate radicalism for Islamic education teacher candidates in the fifth semester of the Academic Year 2021-2022. The results demonstrated that strengthening Aswaja An-Nahdliyah provides an understanding of the map of radical groups and movements; Aswaja An-Nahdliyah teachings and attitudes teach religious moderation as a basis for anticipating and avoiding radicalism teachings and attitudes; Aswaja An-Nahdliyah’s teachings are full of religious tolerance, which helps to block radicalism. This issue is very important considering that even though Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya, as an Islamic university, is not free from radical infiltration, strengthening Aswaja is necessary to anticipate this, especially for Islamic education teacher candidates.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran fiqih al bi’ah sebagai salah satu formulasi penyegaran lingkungan hidup khususnya di Kawasan pesantren di Surabaya. Metode yang dipakai dalam kegiatan ini ialah metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, studi literatur, wawancara dengan beberapa orang yang terlibat dalam pelestarian lingkungan di pesantren. Penelitain ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran fiqih al bi’ah sangat besar bagi pesantren yang menjalankan konsep peduli lingkungan. Pertama, bahwa fiqih al bi’ah sendiri sebagai turunan dari maqosid syariah yang mengedepankan teroi maslahah mursalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kedua, fiqih al biah lebih memiliki nilai ketegasan, ancaman, serta unsur kepercayaan, sehingga keberadaanya lebih mendekati norma hukum daripada norma moral. Hal ini menunjukkan eksistensi dan kekuasaan otoritas Tuhan di atas manusia. Dengan ini fiqih al bi’ah mencitptakan generasi rahmatan lil alamin bagi kalangan muda pesantren sebagai embrio gerakan environmentalisme dengan mengedepankan pemahaman tauhid, amanah, kholifah di bumi, fitrah, ibadah dan kesimbangan terhadap perilakunya kepada lingkungan. This study aims to determine the role of fiqih al bi'ah as a form of environmental refreshment, especially in Islamic boarding schools in Surabaya. The method used in this activity is a qualitative method by collecting data through field observations, documentation, literature studies, interviews with several people who are involved in environmental preservation at the pesantren. This research concludes that the role of fiqih al bi'ah is very large for pesantren that carry out the concept of caring for the environment. First, that fiqih al bi'ah itself is a derivative of the maqosid syariah which emphasizes teroi maslahah mursalah in everyday life. Second, fiqh al biah which is part of religious norms is believed to be closer to legal norms than moral norms, because religious norms also contain elements of threat, assertiveness, and moreover elements of belief. So that its existence shows the existence and power of God's authority over humans. With this fiqih al bi'ah creates a generation of rahmatan lil alamin for pesantren youths as the embryo of the Environmentalism movement by prioritizing the understanding of tauhid, mandate, kholifah on earth, fitrah, worship and balance of behavior towards the environment.

Abstract

Multicultural Islamic religious education curriculum development as an effort to instill multicultural values in Islam that occurs in pesantren-based universities. This research aims to analyze the strategy of developing multicultural Islamic religious education curriculum, to interpret multicultural Islamic religious education in pesantren-based universities. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study. Data is obtained by collecting various literatures and analyzing accordingly. Analyzing involves data condensation, presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of this study provide knowledge that the strategy of developing a multicultural Islamic religious education curriculum in pesantren-based universities requires the participation of several parties who must cooperate with each other, understand each other, be open and fair. The focus is the development of pesantren-based colleges that are increasingly open to diversity in society

Abstract

Era digital membawa perubahan besar dalam pendidikan, interaksi sosial, dan pemahaman keagamaan, termasuk dalam pendidikan Islam. Nilai Aswaja an-Nahdliyah seperti tawassuth, tasamuh, tawazun, dan i’tidal berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang toleran dan inklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis integrasi nilai Aswaja dalam memperkuat pendidikan Islam multikultural di era digital serta mengidentifikasi strategi moderasi beragama melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka terhadap literatur akademik, dokumen keislaman Aswaja, dan praktik pendidikan multikultural di lingkungan Nahdlatul Ulama. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital, jika digunakan secara etis dan kontekstual, dapat menjadi media strategis dalam menyebarkan nilai-nilai moderat Aswaja. Media sosial, e-learning, dan video pembelajaran dapat digunakan untuk membina karakter Islami yang terbuka terhadap keberagaman. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai Aswaja dalam pendidikan Islam multikultural sangat penting untuk menghadapi tantangan era digital, terutama dalam menangkal radikalisme dan memperkuat identitas Islam Nusantara yang damai dan rahmatan lil alamin.
