Abstract

This research will discuss the leadership pattern of Eko Mulyadi as the head village in empowering Tunagrahita people in an area known as Tunagrahita Village. Eko Mulyadi is considered successful in empowering people who have an impact on the lives of people with intellectual disabilities. According to the research of Putri and Haryanti (2017), Eko's success cannot be separated from the four characteristics of transformational leadership. However, the research has a theoretical gap because of the limited scope of Bass and Riggio's leadership who are unable to review the process of the leader approach to his followers. So there is a gap that results in the weakness of the theory to explain how the relationship between the leader and true followers. The purpose of this research focuses on the process and dynamics, as well as what contextual values are intertwined between Eko Mulyadi as a leader and people with intellectual disabilities so that they can successfully transform. This study uses a qualitative ethnographic method that is carried out for three weeks in the field with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of this research indicate that the communication style, trust, reframing of the head village towards Tunagrahita, and full attention are the keys to the success of empowerment.

Abstract

This research aims to look micro-based on the subject's experience of how several bureaucratic actors in small towns commit the phenomenon of budget abuse. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. The primary data was obtained by interviewing five main informants and field observations, while the secondary data was obtained from various related encyclopedia sources. Data analysis used Moustakas' theory by reading interview transcripts, horizonalization, a cluster of meaning, and developing textural descriptions to validate reflexity, credibility, and transferability. This study's results reveal how corruptors' actions are more motivated by a person's scientific attitude, which is based on social a priori as explained by classical phenomenology, compared to situational factors that are felt by the body as initiated by neo-phenomenology.

Abstract

The problem we face is the accumulation of waste when tourist visits increase. Until now, there has been no effective way to address this issue, so we took the initiative to manage waste using the 5R concept: reduce, repair, reuse, recover, and recycle. We utilise a plastic waste recycling method to create useful items. The process is carried out in three stages: 1) Conducting a workshop, 2) Producing recycled waste, and 3) Distributing the useful items created during the workshop. Following these activities, the community has gained a better understanding of the importance of utilising waste to create useful items, thereby helping to reduce plastic waste around tourist destinations. We recommend organising a waste festival to enhance the popularity of tourist attractions and raise awareness about waste management.
