Abstract

The existence of a mathematics training program for clients of Corien Center Bengkulu Period 1 is one of the efforts to improve and increase the mathematical abilities of the parties concerned. In the training, participants were given basic mathematics learning material. The author, as a lecturer in Computer Education Study Program, Dehasen University Bengkulu, feels compelled to devote his knowledge to these students. The results of this PKM activity are: 1) Increasing the participants' knowledge and understanding of the mathematics material provided; 2) Improve participants' skills in solving problems related to mathematics in society. Knowledge in using Information Technology such as the application of computer networks to support competency exam activities

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the types of clauses, the structure of the clause and the function of the clause in the novel of Marveluna Lets Fly Together by Ita Krn. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique of this study was documentation technique. The data in this study were sentences containing the types, structures and functions of clauses in the novel Marveluna Lets Fly Together by Ita Krn. The results of this study show that there are 727 data, 642 verbal clauses, 15 nominal clauses, 57 adjective clauses, 4 prepositional clauses and 9 numeral clauses. The types of verbal clauses consist of 396 data incomplete targeted action verbal clauses, 22 data complete targeted action verbal clauses, 196 data non-targeted action verbal clauses and 25 data situation clauses, the verbal clauses that were not found were event verbal clauses. The noun clause consists of a clause that states the type of noun 5 data, states the name of the noun 6 data, states the relationship of 2 data, and states the characteristics or special characteristics of 2 data. The noun clause of the profession is not found. The adjective clause consists of 17 data physical states, 5 data mental attitudes and 34 data internal feelings. The clause structure of this study is S+P, S+P+O, S+P+O+Pel, S+P+O+K and S+P+K. Function. The clauses of this study consist of the function of S as the actor of the activity, the function of P as a verb, O as something that is done or is the target of the subject, K as additional information and Pel as perfecting the predicate but not subject to the subject's actions.

Abstract

Abstrak: Ragam bahasa berita lazim digunakan dalam pemberitaan: jurnal, media elektronik (televisi, radio), dan media cetak (majalah, surat kabar). Bahasa berita menyajikan fakta secara utuh dan objektif. Berdasarkan media yang digunakan ragam bahasa tulis ditandai dengan kecermatan menggunakan ejaan dan tanda baca (yang secara tepat dapat melambangkan intonasi), kosa kata, penggunaan tata bahasa dalam pembentukan kata, penyusunan kalimat, paragraf, dan wacana. Ragam ini menekankan penggunaan ragam bahasa baku, ejaan (EYD) yang baku, kosa kata yang baku, bentuk kata berimbuhan, dan kalimat yang lengkap secara gramatikal. Dengan demikian, dalam menggunakan konjungsi pun juga dapat diperhatikan dengan baik agar penyusunan kalimat dan paragraf pun menjadi jelas. Konjungsi berfungsi untuk menghubungkan bagian-bagian kalimat atau kalimat yang satu dengan kalimat yang lain dalam suatu wacana. Tujuan penelitian, yaitu untuk mendapatkan pendeskripsikan Kesalahan Penggunaan Konjungsi dalam Wacana Kriminal Kolom Borgol di Surat Kabar Harian Rakyat Bengkulu Edisi 23 November -23 Desember 2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Metode deskriptif dalam penelitian ini digunakan untuk mendapatkan pendeskripsian penggunaan konjungsi dalam wacana kriminal kolom borgol di Surat Kabar Harian Rakyat Bengkulu. Bentuk Penggunaan Konjungsi Koordinatif pada Surat Kabar Harian Rakyat Bengkulu menunjukan bahwa penggunaan konjungsi: dan, serta, atau, tetapi, melainkan, padahal, sedangkan. Bentuk Penggunaan Konjungsi Korelatif tidak ditemukan dalam wacana kriminal kolom borgol. Bentuk Penggunaan Konjungsi Subordinatif terdiri dari tiga belas jenis, yang meliputi y: (1) hubungan waktu : sejak, ketika, sementara, serta, setelah, sebelum, hingga, (2) hubungan syarat: jika, bila (3) hubungan pengandaian: tidak ditemukan, (4) hubungan tujuan: agar, (5) hubungan konsesif: walaupun, (6) hubungan pembandingan: sebagaimana, seperti, sebagai (7) hubungan sebab: sebab, karena (8) hubungan hasil: sehingga, sampai, maka, (9) hubungan alat: dengan, tanpa, (10) hubungan cara: dengan, tanpa, (11) hubungan komplementasi: bahwa, (12) hubungan atributif: yang (13) hubungan perbandingan: tidak ditemukan. Bentuk Penggunaan Konjungsi antarkalimat meliputi: kemudian, setelah, selanjutnya, selain itu, bahkan, akan tetapi, namun.

Abstract

The objective of this research to describe imperative sentences in the novel of Ayah dan Sirkus Pohon by Andrea Hirata. This novel tells the story of Sobirin, a 28-year-old unemployed man, and his winding journey in a traveling circus called Sirkus Blasia. The problem in this study is the imperative sentences in the novel of Ayah dan Sirkus Pohon by Andrea Hirata. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used library research techniques. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusions. The results of this study include imperative sentences of commands, imperative sentences of requests, imperative sentences of granting permission, imperative sentences of invitations, and imperative sentences of orders. The imperative sentences that frequently appear in Andrea Hirata's novel Ayah dan Sirkus Pohon is imperative command sentences with a total of 8 and the imperative sentences that appear the least are imperative permission and invitation sentences with the same number, namely 4. In the future, the author hopes that students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Indonesian Language and Literature Education will increase their insight into literary studies.
