Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan dan seminar seni rupa dengan tema Strategi Pengembangan Kreativitas Perupa di Era Pandemi Covid 19 merupakan respon Dewan Kesenian Palembang (DKP), dalam hal ini adalah Komite Seni Rupa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai respon terhdap kehidupan masyarakat yang selama ini terdampak oleh Pandemi Covid 19. Selama pandemi Covid 19 hampir segala sendi kehidupan ekonomi, agama, politik, budaya, dan bahkan kesenian terkena dampak oleh wabah tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, dengan kembalinya aktifitas masyarakat dalam konteks “New Normal” atau adaptasi terhadap kebiasaan baru memberikan kesempatan bagi perupa untuk berdiskusi, silaturrahmi dan gelar karya untuk memulai kembali kativitas kreatif dalam membangun iklim berkesenian di Kota Palembang. Adapun yang menjadi sasaran kegiatan ini adalah para perupa muda. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk berdiskusi tentang strategi pengembangan kreativitas perupa, khususnya perupa muda di Kota Palembang kini dan ke depannya. Adapun kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah Webinar plus, demonstrasi karya, dan gelar karya. Kegiatan-kegiatan ini diharpakan tidak hanya untuk menumbuhkan iklim berkesenian, namun juga mampu mengangkat nilai budaya lokal dan ekonomi kreatif bagi perupa, khususnya di Kota Palembang.

Abstract

Pendidikan seni rupa dan desain juga merupakan bagian dari ilmu yang mempunyai manfaat yang sangat besar bagi kelangsungan hidup manusia. Pada hakikatnya pembelajaran seni rupa lebih ditekankan pada pembentukan skill yaitu dapat menghasilkan sebuah produk atau karya seni. Maka dari itu penulis beserta tim pengabdian mencoba untuk memberikan pelatihan seni grafis dengan menggunakan teknik cukil kepada mahasiswa di Kota Palembang. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini merupakan salah satu upaya perwujudan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bagi mahasiswa agar dapat menjadi generasi yang memiliki ilmu dan keterampilan serta memiliki peran untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat. Pelatihan seni grafis menggunakan teknik cukil melibatkan sebuah sanggar seni bernama Bekucak Artwork Painting Palembang sebagai mitra yang sudah banyak membantu untuk menyediakan bahan dan alat untuk keperluan praktek pada pelatihan, serta turut mengidentifikasi calon peserta yang akan ikut dalam pelatihan tersebut. Adapun metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah Sosialisasi, demonstrasi, praktikum, bimbingan dan metode evaluasi. Adapun hasil dari pelatihan ini memberikan pengetahuan serta pengalaman terhadap semua peserta, diantaranya adalah pengetahuan terkait bahan dan alat yang digunakan dan penerapan teknik dengan mempraktekannya secara langsung. Mulai dari pembuatan sketsa, memindahkan sketsa pada media cetakan hardboard, proses pencukilan pada media hardboard, dan yang terkahir yaitu proses mencetak pada media kertas dengan menentukan jumlah atau banyaknya edisi yang akan dicetak. Pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang diperoleh mahasiswa di Palembang selama pelatihan seni grafis, tentunya menjadi modal berharga untuk membuka usaha mandiri di bidang industri kreatif. Graphic Arts Training Using Cutting Techniques to Improve Student Skills in Palembang  Fine arts and design education is also a part of science that has enormous benefits for human survival. In essence, fine arts learning places more emphasis on skill formation, namely being able to produce a product or work of art. Therefore, the author and the service team are trying to provide graphic arts training using the gouge technique to students in the city of Palembang. The aim of this training activity is one of the efforts to improve students' skills so that they can become a generation that has knowledge and skills and has a role in improving the welfare of society. Graphic arts training using the gouge technique involves an art studio called Bekucak Artwork Painting Palembang as a partner who has helped a lot in providing materials and tools for practical purposes in the training, as well as identifying potential participants who will take part in the training. The methods used in this training activity are socialization, demonstration, practicum, guidance and evaluation methods. The results of this training provide knowledge and experience for all participants, including knowledge regarding the materials and tools used and the application of techniques by practicing them directly. Starting from making a sketch, transferring the sketch to hardboard printing media, the cutting process on hardboard media, and finally the process of printing on paper media by determining the number or number of editions to be printed. The knowledge and experience gained by students in Palembang during graphic arts training is of course valuable capital to open an independent business in the creative industry.

Abstract

Pelatihan Menggambar yang diadakan oleh tim PkM dari Universitas Indo Global Mandiri melibatkan murid-murid di Sekolah Dasar Sekolah Alam Palembang sebagai mitra. Adapun jumlah mitra yang mengikuti pelatihan ini sebanyak 75 murid. Pelatihan ini berangkat dari permasalahan dasar, yaitu pada Jenjang awal pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar, orangtua dan guru hendaknya tidak hanya berfokus mengajarkan anak mereka untuk membaca, menulis, dan berhitung. Akan tetapi juga pengembangan kecerdasan interpersonal mereka juga harus diasah dan diperhatikan. Kecerdasan interpersonal merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam memahami perasaan orang lain, memotivasi dan mudah memiliki hubungan sosial dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Permasalahan lainnya, pada konteks pendidikan, di Sekolah-sekolah tidak jarang ditemui yang mengajarkan tentang bidang seni merupakan guru yang bukan bidangnya atau tidak memiliki kompetensi dibidang seni, terutama seni rupa. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk menambah, mengasah keterampilan, kreatifitas serta yang lebih terpenting adalah mengasah kecerdasan interpersonal mereka. Kegiatan PkM yang dilaksanakan ini menggunakan metode Survei, wawancara, sosialisasi, dan Pelatihan. Adapun hasil kegiatan menggambar untuk murid Sekolah Dasar diantaranya adalah menghasilkan karya gambar yang memiliki nilai estetik, serta sesuai dengan unsur-unsur dan kaedah pada bidang seni rupa. Peserta juga dapat pengetahuan terkait dengan bahan, alat dan teknik yang digunakan untuk menggmbar, serta yang paling terpenting adalah dapat mengasah kecerdasan interpersonal untuk peka terhadap lingkungan sekitar baik dalam bersosialisi, maupun dalam merespon benda ataupun objek disekitar untuk diadikan ide dalam menciptakan atau menghasilkan sebuah karya seni. Graphic Arts Training Using Cutting Techniques to Increase Student Skills in Palembang Abstract The Drawing Training held by the PkM team from Indo Global Mandiri University involved students at Sekolah Alam Palembang Elementary School as partners. The number of partners who took part in this training was 75 students. This training starts from the basic problem, namely that at the initial level of education in elementary school, parents and teachers should not only focus on teaching their children to read, write and count. However, the development of their interpersonal intelligence must also be honed and paid attention to. Interpersonal intelligence is a person's ability to understand other people's feelings, motivate and easily have social relationships with the surrounding environment. Another problem, in the educational context, is that in schools it is not uncommon to find teachers who teach about the arts, who are not in the field or do not have competence in the arts, especially fine arts. This training aims to increase, hone their skills, creativity and, more importantly, hone their interpersonal intelligence. The PkM activities carried out use survey, interview, outreach and training methods. The results of drawing activities for elementary school students include producing drawings that have aesthetic value, and are in accordance with the elements and rules in the field of fine arts. Participants also gain knowledge related to materials, tools and techniques used for drawing, and the most important thing is to be able to hone their interpersonal intelligence to be sensitive to the surrounding environment both in socializing, and in responding to things or objects around them to use as ideas in creating or producing a work art.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Penguatan Kelembagaan pada Organisasi Pengelola Zakat (OPZ) melalui Good Governance. Masalah yang masih terkait dengan pengelolaan zakat, salah satunya yaitu masalah yang bersumber dari dalam Lembaga Pengelola Zakat Itu sendiri antara lain menjamurnya jumlah Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ), rendahnya sinergi antara stakeholder, rendahnya kredibilitas masyarakat terhadap OPZ, tidak optimalnya pendayagunaan zakat serta SDM zakat yang masih kurang profesional. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah model yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut. Tata kelola yang baik atau good governance mutlak dibutuhkan dalam Organisasi Pengelola Zakat (OPZ). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian library research dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  penguatan kelembagaan dalam OPZ melalui penerapan good amil governance meliputi, pertama sebagai lembaga keuangan publik, maka harus menerapkan prinsip transparency, accountability, responsibility, independency dan fairness. Kedua, sebagai Lembaga Filantropi Islam mutlak menerapkan shariah compliance. Ketiga, sebagai lembaga pelayanan masyarakat harus mengedepankan service quality.

Abstract

South Sumatra is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has various stories behind its independence, one of which is the services of the South Sumatran freedom fighters. There were several freedom fighters from South Sumatra, such as Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, A.K Gani, A.M Thalib, Captain A. Rivai, Col. H Barlian, Harun Sohar, Hasan Kasim, Bambang Utoyo, Abdul Rozak and Dr. Mass. of the many figures of the South Sumatran Independence Fighters, there are very rarely fragments of stories that introduce these fighters. This is due to the very limited media that help introduce the South Sumatra independence fighters such as children's books that tell information about fighters and fragments of the stories of South Sumatran fighters. the community is no longer bound by offline media such as books and so on and the lack of interest from the public to get to know these South Sumatran independence fighters is due to the lack of interesting media for the public to see. Therefore, it is necessary to design visual communication to introduce South Sumatran independence fighters to the people of Palembang city so that it can become a medium for introducing the various stories and figures behind independence in South Sumatra, especially in the city of Palembang. So that the identity of the figures of the South Sumatran freedom fighters is not lost and forgotten and awakens a sense of pride and nationalism for the people of South Sumatra.

Abstract

Abstract : Deafness is a general term that indicates difficulty hearing from mild to severe, classified into deafness and hearing loss. This is because Bisindo comes from the mother tongue, which is the Indonesian language that is used daily, and one movement can represent a word that is also widely known among non-deaf people. This design using Design Thinking method there are several stages such as (Empathize) understand the problem, (Define) identify the problem, (Ideate) find ideas, (Prototype) realize the idea, and (Test) the application of the results. The data collection process is done by, interviews, observations, questionnaires, literature and websites. The data obtained were then processed and analyzed using the method (5W+1H). From the results of this problem resulted in a Visual Communication Design Bisindo Alphabet for the Deaf in Palembang. The purpose of this design is to understand communicating through the Bisindo Alphabet by using conceptual and interesting visual communication elements. and how to communicate with the deaf informative through learning the Alphabet Bisindo. In this design, the media produced such as media Board Education, posters, catalog of works & catalog Alphabet Bisindo, T-shirts, notebooks, hearing aids, X-banners, stickers, Pointing Devices, Tote bags, Instagram feeds, brochures.

Abstract

Abstract: Before the technology was invented, long-distance communication used to rely on written letters, but now with advanced technology, it can be easily done through a stable internet connection on a smartphone. However, the convenience of online dating applications can be misused by irresponsible people, so policies and security measures must be implemented to protect users' privacy and comfort. Cases that occur in the form of fraud, extortion, sexual harassment cause mental health problems. Based on these problems, the author designed a social campaign that aims to educate people in Palembang City to be wiser in using social media. The author conducted a case study by applying the design thinking design method as data analysis to overcome these problems and using the 5W + 1H method (what, why, who, where, why, how). The design media to be used are digital education books, starter dating boxes for women and men, other information media such as posters and Instagram, and supporting media such as notebooks, Tumblr bottles, classic mirror, making, stickers, classic clocks, aromatherapy candles, and calendars.

Abstract

Abstract: This 100-Pole Limas House has its own charm and uniqueness because it has 100 pillars and foundations. According to (Hartini, 2016) The forms of the carving motifs on the Hundred Pillar House are generally geometric in shape, such as triangle shapes, rectangles, circle shapes, parallelogram shapes, with carvings such as slampit garang, wave shapes, fan leaves, jasmine stalks and sowing seruje. Flora such as allied rose motifs, sow flowers, tulips, mangosteen leaves, melon and lotus flowers. Fauna is like an elephant's trunk motif. Other natural motifs with shapes such as tongues, flames (China), flames (Kayuagung), morning stars, and sunrises. Even the 100 Pillar Limas House has historical value and keeps a unique story behind its construction. Even though it has been standing for hundreds of years, the house is still there and is well maintained by local residents. Abstract

Abstract : Tourism Village in general is an expression of human life that presents a village tourist destination. In the city of Palembang there is an area of artisan villages where most of the population works as traditional cloth craftsmen. Residents who work as cloth artisans in this village are able to produce various types of typical Palembang fabrics, such as songket, blongsong, tajung, rainbow, or jumputan fabrics of good quality because they are made directly by indigenous people who understand customary values. Palembang city. This design uses the design think planning method which includes premedia, main media and follow-up media. Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews, literature and websites. The data is then identified, classified, selected, then analyzed using the (5W+1H) method, and interpreted according to the text and context. This design aims to promote the Tuan Kentang Fabric Village to the people of Palembang city and outside the city of Palembang. In this design, the resulting media are promotional videos, gates, T-shirts, posters, book catalogs, stickers, tote bags, bucket hats and wallets.

Abstract

Abstract : Sedentary lifestyle or a lifestyle that lacks physical activity refers to the habit of individuals who tend to spend time in a sitting or lying position with little or no physical activity. This can be caused by various factors, including jobs that require a lot of time in front of a computer, attention-grabbing digital entertainment, and reliance on automated tools to carry out daily tasks. If a sedentary lifestyle continues, it can increase the risk of developing chronic diseases, such as: Obesity, Cardiovascular Disease, Hypertension, Stroke, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Osteoporosis, anxiety and other mental health disorders, and even the risk of premature death. The problem solving process in this campaign uses the design thought method which consists of five stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. Data collection was carried out in several stages, including observation, interviews and documentation. The data was then processed and analyzed so that a solution was found, namely a social campaign to increase awareness among teenagers about the importance of physical activity and the dangers of a sedentary lifestyle. Through a program called GERAFIK (Physical Activity Movement) which aims to increase awareness about the importance of physical activity among teenagers in the city of Palembang.
