Abstract

This research aims to describe metacognitive skills of climber students in solving mathematic problems in class VIII junior high school. The subject of research isthree climber students of Junior High School 3 Purworejo. The research method used qualitative with the form of phenomenological research. The subject of research is climber students of Junior High School 3 Purworejo. The research instrument is an Adversity Quotient questionnaire, mathematic troubleshooting test, and interviews. Data collection techniques are conducted by collecting data from writing test and interview with students. The results showed that climber students planning skills at the stage of understanding problems and planning problem solving is aware in predicting the knowledge of materials needed and have the thoroughness in digging information that is important in the matter, aware of the plan used and able to realize the relationship with the problems that ever worked. Climber students monitoring skills on the stage of implementing a solving plan, students are aware in the process of solving questions and aware that previous strategies can assist in solving the problem, students also aware and confident with the results of his work. Mean while, climber students evaluation skills realize that the results are correct, but students not realize that there are other strategies that can solve the problem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) Bagaimanakah proses pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7e berbantuan Microsoft Mouse Mischief dalam mata kuliah Statistika Matematika, 2) adakah hubungan antara kemampuan metakognitif dan kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa pada pembelajaran learning cycle 7e berbantuan Microsoft mouse mischief. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester IV program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo.Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak.Sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian berjumlah 26 mahasiswa yaitu mahasiswa IVC program studi pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo.Untuk pengambilan data metakognitif menggunakan angket/kuesioner, sedang data kognitif menggunakan tes kognitif pada materi satatistika matematika.Datakemampuan metakognitif dan kemampuan kognitif dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi sederhana menggunakan SPSS untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keduanya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan metakognitif dengan kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa  melalui pembelajaran learning cycle 7e berbantuan Microsoft mouse mischief.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VIII SMP dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pengambilan subjek dengan teknik purposive. Subjek penelitian adalah dua siswa kelas VIII SMP tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berkemampuan matematika tinggi. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes materi bangun ruang sisi datar, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu teknik Miles & Huberman yang meliputi tiga aktivitas yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kategori tinggi memenuhi keempat indikator berpikir kreatif yang digunakan yaitu fluency, flexibility, orisinalitas, dan elaboration.  Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan mampu memberikan beberapa alternatif jawaban berupa kemungkinan bentuk bangun ruang sisi datar beserta ukurannya, mampu melihat permasalahan dengan sudut pandang/pendekatan yang berbeda sehingga dapat memberikan lebih dari satu kemungkinan bentuk bangun ruang sisi datar berserta ukurannya, mampu memberikan kemungkinan bentuk bangun ruang sisi datar berserta ukurannya yang berbeda dari teman lainnya serta mampu menuliskan apa yang diketahui dan apa yang ditanyakan dari soal.

Abstract

Perangkat pembalajaran yang meliputi Prota, Promes, RPP serta instrumen penilaian merupakan alat yang harus disiapkan oleh pendidik sebelum mereka melaksanakan pembelajaran. Bagi calon pendidik, kemampuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran merupakan hal penting yang harus dikuasai sebagai syarat untuk menjadi pendidik profesional. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa program studi pendidikan (calon guru) dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran di masa pendemi covid-19. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 230 mahasiswa yang diambil secara random dari mahasiswa FKIP yang sedang menggambil mata kuliah magang II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran di masa pendemi covid-19 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan Prota dan Promes sangat baik , berturut-turu dengan skor 18.16 (90,8 %) dan 17.77 (88.83 %). Pada pengembangan RPP mahasiswa telah memiliki kemampuan sangat baik denganskor 34.91 (87,28 %), sedangkan dalam pengembangan instrumen penilaian kriteria baik dengan dengan skor 16.87 dan persentase 84.35.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce Student Worksheets (LKS) with K.H. Ahmad Dahlan historical settings for fourth grade students at SD and declared fit for use. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets for material experts, media experts, cultural experts and practicality sheets for teachers. The results showed that the developed worksheets the valid criteria with a score of 3.57. The effectiveness criteria cannot be measured because of the Covid 19 virus which causes students to carry out learning online. Practicality criteria are also fulfilled and got a score of 3.93 with good criteria. Based on assessments by material experts, media experts, cultural experts and filling in practicality sheets by the teacher, the products developed are declared valid and practical.

Abstract

The background of this research is come from the fact which is not available in teaching material according to background from students culture in Indonesia. Therefore, the result of this research is to produce a product students Mathematics worksheet which is combination the material and culture value especially Borobudur temple. The aims of the research is to find out validation of product LKS elementary school based ethnomatematics with the setting of Borobudur temple on two-dimentional figure theory. The development model is used in this research is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evalaluation). This research has produced a student worksheet which is integration ethnomatematics of Borobudur Temple in a two-dimentional figure theory that is valid. The criteria of validity is find out from 6 validator assesments, these are 2 media experts with an average of 3.3, 2 theory experts with an average of 3.4, and 2 learning experts with a score of 3.5. The average of the overall ratings is 3.4 categorized valid. Based on these results, LKS which is developed categorized valid.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to describe activity of students mathematical combinatorial thinking in constructing of the opportunity concept. The subject of the study is two students of Junior High School who had the ability in constructing concept. Data collection was obtained at the time of learning carried out based on learning plan as research instruments. The results showed a combinatorial thinking activity in constructing concepts. Counting processes are showen by students identifying dice and coins, solving theoritical opportunities problems with tables or diagrams, and solving empirical opportunities problems. Formulas/exspressions are showen by students being able to construct sampel points and sample space, construct theoritical opportunities concept, and make mathematical formulas of opportunities. Set of outcomes is showen by students being able to find the results of solving theoritical opportunity problems of one/or more dice and coins as well as the results of solving empirically opportunity problems.

Abstract

This research is describing the spatial mathematical abilities needed by junior high school students specifically on polyhedron material. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were 3 students of class IX grade students of State Junior High School 4 Purworejo in the 2019/2020 academic year who had already gotten material on three-dimentional figure and had high mathematical abilities, moderate mathematical abilities, and low mathematical abilities and were in accordance with the needs of the relevant teachers . The subject taking technique used in this study was purposive. The instrument used in this study was the spatial ability test sheet. Data collection uses spatial ability tests, field notes, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is the analysis technique of Miles & Hubermen which includes three activities namely data reduction, data presentation, and the contribution of conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis found students with high mathematical abilities are able to bring up spatial perception, mental rotation, spatial relations, and spatial orientation, but have not been able to bring up spatial visualization. Students with moderate and low mathematical abilities are able to bring up spatial perception, mental rotation and spatial orientation but have not yet spawned spatial relations and spatial visualization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan self regulated learning dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 36 Purworejo melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Structured Dyadic Methods. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIC pada materi segiempat. Teknik pengambilan subjek ini menggunakan teknik observasi untuk mengetahui kemandirian belajar dan tes untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan penarikan kesimpulan (conclusion drawing). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar matematika siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 36 Purworejo melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Structured Dyadic Methods mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rerata persentase hasil observasi self regulated (kemandirian) pada siklus I sebesar 62% dengan kategori cukup dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 81% dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 36 Purworejo melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Structured Dyadic Methods juga mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini berdasarkan rerata nilai tes prestasi belajar pada siklus I sebesar 63% dengan kategori cukup dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 81% dengan kategori tuntas KKM. Berdasarkan kriteria keberhasilan tindakan telah mencapai lebih dari 70% siswa yang memperoleh nilai lebih atau sama dengan nilai Kriterium Kelulusan Minimal yaitu 70 maka pembelajaran pada siklus II sudah berhasil

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the mistakes made by students in class VIII SMPN 22 Purworejo in solving the problem of building a flat side space based on information processing theory. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 3 students taken from 5 students of class VIIIB SMPN 22 Purworejo. The results showed that students' errors based on the information processing stages were found in the retieval stage. rehearsal and encoding. Errors in the retrieval stage include (1) errors in the use of arithmetic operations; (2) errors in the use of formulas. errors in the rehearsal stage, namely the repetition of concepts or values that are wrong and errors in the encoding stage, namely students do not re-check every answer produced.
