Abstract

Indonesia adalah salah satu negara muslim terbesar di dunia. Rutinitas ibadah bagi penduduk muslim di Indinesia selalu berjalan baik yang telah dijamin undang-undang. Salah satu ibadah sunnah yang sering dilakukan oleh penduduk Indonesia adalah Umrah. Dalam pelaksanaan ibadah umrah terdapat berbagai macam permaslahan yang timbul baik dari penyelenggara maupun jama?ah. Namun permasalahan yang paling fatal adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dalam beribadah umrah. Untuk itu fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah membuat panduan umrah bagi jama?ah yang akan melakukannya. Panduan yang dibuat berbasis smartphone menggunakan aplikasi. Didaman aplikasi yang dihasilkan terdapat informasi syarat umrah, rukun ibadah, wajib umrah, larangan ketika ihram, persiapan umrah, dan tata cara pelaksanaan umrah. Informasi yang ditampilkan pada aplikasi disajikan dalam bentuk teks dan video baik berbahasa Indonesia maupun Arab. Aplikasi juga telah dilakukan pengujian menggunakan heuristic evaluation dan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan.   Indonesia is one of the largest Muslim countries in the world. The routine of worship for the Muslim population in Indonesia always runs well, which has been guaranteed by law. One of the sunnah worship that is often carried out by Indonesian residents is Umrah. In the implementation of umrah worship, various problems arise both from organiser and pilgrims. But the fatal problem is the lack of knowledge in the Umrah service. For this reason, the focus of this research is to make an Umrah guide for Jamaah who will do it. A smartphone-based guide uses the application. In the application, there is information about Umrah conditions, pillars of worship, obligatory Umrah, prohibitions on Ihram, preparation of Umrah, and procedures for implementing Umrah. The information displayed on the application is in the form of text and videos both in Indonesian and Arabic. Applications that have been tested use heuristic evaluations and are declared feasible to use.

Abstract

This research was conducted to answer the problems of researchers for finding publication or papers that suitable with their topics. In this research was developed software for searching abstract keyword using Knuth Morris Pratt algorithm to answer the problems of researchers. Waterfall model used to develop abstract keywords searching software as tools development that has five phases, namely communication, planning, modeling, construction and deployment. The software was developed can display search results effectively and efficiently according to the enter search keywords, it can see while search results are shown is in case sensitive. The software is also tested; the testing process is conducted by functional observation with black box testing approach, Observation results while testing is conducted show the software running suitable with expected or 100% same with entered keyword, so worthy to be used as one of the tools of researchers searching articles.

Abstract

Meningkatnya pengguna internet membuat semakin meningkat pula pembelian barang secara online. Baik pembeli, maupun penjual yang menggunakan transaksi secara online dalam pengiriman barangnya dapat menggunakan 2 metode pengiriman barang, yaitu bertemu secara langsung, atau mengunakan jasa pengiriman barang. Dan sebagai pengguna online shop juga pastinya akan sangat bingung dan kesulitan dalam memilih jasa pengiriman barang sehingga mempertimbangkan faktor lain dalam memilih jasa pengiriman barang. Mulai dari harga, pengemasan barang, lama pengiriman barang, banyaknya cabang, layanan sistem hingga pelayanan membuat pengguna online shop bingung dalam memilih jasa pengiriman barang terbaik sesuai kebutuhan pengguna.  Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini akan diangkat suatu kasus yaitu mencari jenis pengiriman terbaik berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) untuk melakukan perhitungan pada kasus pemilihan jenis barang terbaik.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) of Poltekkes Palembang is designed to facilitate the management of academic activities and the dissemination of information to users, including lecturers and students, in a structured and integrated manner. This research aims to measure the usage of SIAKAD at Poltekkes Palembang through usability testing. Additionally, the research also identifies shortcomings in the layout of SIAKAD, such as the presence of invalid or outdated information. The test results indicate that the majority of users are able to operate SIAKAD effectively. Furthermore, the measurement results show that the learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction of SIAKAD overall reach a good level. Thus, SIAKAD plays a significant role in supporting academic activities at Poltekkes Palembang. Nevertheless, there is still room for improvement in the usage of SIAKAD. With a deeper understanding of the aspects that need to be addressed in SIAKAD, institutions can take appropriate actions to enhance user experience.

Abstract

Based on the researcher’s observations at the SMA Negeri 7 Palembang Library, the identified issues include errors in recording book loans and a lack of well-documented data. This problem arises because the book loan recording process relies solely on manual note-taking, which is relatively slow. Additionally, the library does not have a medium to inform students about its book collection, reducing students' interest in borrowing books. To address these issues, the author aims to develop a book borrowing information system to enhance the efficiency of book management and borrowing in the library while also providing students with information about the available book collection. This research employs the Extreme Programming system development methodology. The objective of this study is to build an information system for book borrowing and returning, which also serves as an informational medium for the library’s book collection at SMA Negeri 7 Palembang. The system is designed and developed as a web-based application using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database, with UML as the modeling tool. The research results show that the developed system can improve time efficiency in the book borrowing process by 75%. This conclusion is based on the fact that the borrowing process previously took an average of 20 minutes before using the system, but it now takes less than 5 minutes with the system. Therefore, the developed system will significantly assist in the management and borrowing process at the SMA Negeri 7 Palembang Library.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has a significant impact on various aspects of life, including village administration services. Jejawi Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, still faces obstacles in managing population data, correspondence, business permits, and asset management which are still done manually. This causes various problems, such as service delays, recording errors, and difficulties in storing and processing data. This study aims to design and build a website-based village information system to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public services in Jejawi Village. The method used in developing this system is the Prototype method, which allows testing and gradual system improvement according to user needs. The technology used in developing the system includes PHP as a programming language, MySQL as a database management system, and XAMPP as a local server. The development of this system was carried out without using a special framework such as Laravel or CodeIgniter, but rather based on native PHP. The results of this study are a website-based information system that facilitates access to village administration services for the community and village officials. With this system, the process of making letters, managing assets, and recording population data becomes faster, more transparent, and more accurate. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the quality of public services in Jejawi Village and become a reference in the development of other village information systems.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkoba menjadi masalah serius yang dapat menimpa siapa saja, tanpa memandang usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, atau status social. Namun, kelompok usia tertentu seperti remaja sering kali menjadi yang paling terdampak dan rentan terjerumus. Institusi pendidikan, memiliki peran strategis sebagai benteng awal pencegahan melalui edukasi yang tidak hanya memberikan informasi, tetapi juga membentuk pola pikir, sikap, dan keterampilan sosial siswa untuk menolak pengaruh negatif, sehingga diperlukan strategi edukasi yang relevan dan sesuai dengan karakteristik remaja.Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pelaksanaan edukasi sebagai strategi dalam mendorong sikap antinarkoba dapat meningkatkan pemahaman pelajar tentang narkoba di SMK Negeri 8 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah observasi terhadap kondisi awal pemahaman siswa, dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan edukasi menggunakan media presentasi visual dan interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai narkoba. Dengan demikian, strategi edukasi terbukti efektif sebagai upaya preventif dalam membentuk sikap antinarkoba di kalangan pelajar.

Abstract

The concept of gender refers to men and women in their roles, behaviors, activities, and socially constructed attributes. Fairness between the two will eliminate this difference. This study aims to analyze student participation in study planning in higher education based on several indicators: goals, motivation, basis, personal desires, reasons for choosing a study program, and expectations. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method using a gender equality perspective and a focused group discussion (FGD) technique with thematic analysis to identify data according to the theme. The study results show differences between male and female students in terms of the purpose of continuing their studies, where female students aim more to get a diploma, while male students have more diverse goals, such as increasing knowledge or increasing religious knowledge. The main motivation for students is the demands of work and the desire to be successful, with additional motivation for female students to be good mothers. Most students' main basis for continuing their studies is improving their quality of life and the desire to practice knowledge. Most students are internally motivated to pursue higher education, indicating a strong personal drive without significant external influences. The choice of study program is based on the desire to become a professional, such as becoming a teacher for the PAI Study Program and deepening Islamic economic law for the HESy Study Program. Expectations after completing studies include the desire to become a useful individual in society, with male students tending to want to continue to the Masters level, while female students are more likely to work immediately. Active participation in this planning shows that clear motivation and goals are important indicators of the success of students' studies in higher education. Abstract

Dengan meningkatnya penggunaan produk digital, perancangan desain User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) yang sesuai menjadi faktor penting untuk memfasilitasi pengalaman pengguna yang memuaskan, terlebih pada media pembelajaran digital.  Pembelajaran melalui media digital seperti aplikasi berbasis website (web application) menjadi salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang semakin marak digunakan. Hal ini sejalan dengan kemajuan teknologi dan bagaimana semakin banyak sektor yang terkomputerisasi, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Penelitian ini merespon kebutuhan akan akses belajar debat Bahasa Inggris di Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) South Sumatra English Community atau SSEC Universitas Bina Darma. Berawal dari sulitnya akses belajar debat melalui buku fisik dan file-file pdf yang tidak tergorganisir secara runtut dan rapi, penulis berinisiatif untuk menciptakan desain perancangan UI/UX untuk media pembelajaran debat Bahasa Inggris berbasis website agar materi dapat terarsip dengan baik disertai dengan akses yang mudah. Perancangan desain UI/UX menjadi faktor penting untuk keberhasilan suatu media pembelajaran yang akan dibuat mengingat pentingnya faktor kenyamanan end-user atau pengguna dalam menggunakan website. Perancangan desain akan berorientasi pada pendekatan Design Thinking, yaitu suatu metode perancangan yang menitikberatkan pada preferensi dan pemecahan masalah melalui perspektif pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah setelah dilakukan pengujian pengguna (user testing) dengan perhitungan single ease question (SEQ), diperoleh skor keberhasilan sebesar 5,93 yang menunjukan hasil memuaskan dengan desain yang mudah digunakan.
