One of the tasks of development that must be traversed by a teenager is a task in planning or choosinga career/job for the future. However, many conditions faced by teens who were in Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) as the Special Children's Mentoring Institute,include the lack of career information that they have caused them difficulty and have trouble doing career planning for their future. This research aims to describe of the problem of young prisoner in the career planning process. This research used quantitative approaches with descriptive-quantitative method. The sample in this research consisted of 32 young prisoner. The results showed that young prisoner who have problems of planning a career on the very high category as many as 17 people with 51.51%, in high category as many as 11 people with 33.33% and on the category quite as many as 4 people with 12.12%.

Results of study is a benchmark in view the success of student learning. The level of achievement of learning outcomes allegedly influenced by many factors. Study habits and is one of the factors suspected to affect learning outcomes. This study aimed to describe the contribution of the habit of learning on student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach a descriptive correlational. The study population 212, and a sample of 139 students obtained via technique. Proportional Random Sampling instruments used are instruments of learning habits, while the study results obtained from the value of student learning outcomes. Analysis of data using simple regression techniques. The research result shows that the habit of learning and learning outcomes at the high category. Contributions habit of learning to the learning outcomes 32.9%.

The background of this research was there are many of students who have low achievement motivation. Peer and parental support are two factor that allegedly influence it. Aims of this research to describe the correlation of peer and parental support with achievement motivation. This research used quantitative approach with descriptive-correlational method. The population of this research consists 723 and samples 196 students. The instrument used questionnaire with likert scale model and the reliability test of peer support instrument at 0.864, parental support at 0.903 and achievement motivation at 0,939. The data were analyzed using multiple regression. The results shows that the peer and parental support, and the achievement motivation were in high category. There are correlation (15.9%) of the peer and parental support with achievement motivation. The Implication of the research results can be used as an analysis of the needs of students in setting counseling service program at school.

The various experiences of people with visual disability about guidance and counseling in Bina Netra Social House “Tuah Sakato” Padang caused kinds of perceptions. The research were to describe the perception of low vision and total blindness and also the distinct perception about guidance counseling in self concept development. The type of the research was comparative descriptive. By using purposivesampling method, about 30 of them were chosen to be the sample. The instruments used was Guidance and Counseling Perception Scale (GCPS) which was read by the researcher. Data of the research was analyzed by using Mann-Whitney U Test. The result of the research shows there is no significant differenceperception between people with low vision and total blindness. It means both of them have good perception about guidance and counseling in self concept development.

The background of this research was motivated by there were students who have not the goal and a clear career plan. The purpose of this study were (1) describe students career planning is sighted socio-economic status, gender, and majors, (2) examined differences in students career planning of socio-economic status of high, medium, and low, (3) examined differences in students career planning of based on male and female, (4) examined differences in students career planning majoring in science and social studies, (5) examined differences in career planning of students based on interaction of between socio-economic status, gender, and majors. This research is a comparative descriptive study using 2 x 2 x 3 factorial design. The population of this research was a class XI students at SMAN 7 Padang with 258 students. Sample this research consistsof 160 people and selected by proportional random sampling technique. The instrument was using career planning scale reliability value of 0,751. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that: (1) students career planning in terms of socio-economic status, gender, and majors at the high category, (2) there is no significant differences in career planning ofstudents in terms of socio-economic status of high, medium and low, (3) there is no significant differences in career planning of students in terms of male and female, (4) there is nosignificant difference in career planning of students in terms of majoring in science and social studies, (5) there is no difference in career planning of students in terms of interaction between socio-economic status, gender, and majors. The implication of this research as one of an input for designing aguidance and counseling program, especially in the career planning.

Learning is characterized by the use of good questioning skills , especially in learning for large groups of children. Skills in question play an important role in student learning activities. The low skill of students asking in the learning process can lead to disruption of an effective learning process and must be handled by the BK teacher appropriately. Questions are one of the stimuli of thinking that is good for teaching students. The research method used is R & D (Research and Development) by following the steps in developing the ADDIE pattern (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subject of the research trial consisted of experts to test the feasibility of the model, the BK teacher to assess the suitability of the model, and students to test the effectiveness. The study was conducted by collecting initial data as a material for consideration in preparing the initial model which was then tested for its suitability and effectiveness through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and expert testing. The results of this study show that the students' skills in question are in the high category.

The learning process in university level is quite different from the former education levels so that the students need to be adapted to. The students, in fact, were still unaccustomed to the learning style, unserious and frequently absent from the class, did not do assignment as they were required, and did not submit the tasks on the time they were due. This research was intended to describe the studentsâ€™ learning style and learning skill and its implication in Guidance and Counseling service. This research could be classified into descriptive study. The population of the research was 1021 students in the Faculty of Education of UNP. By using purposive random sampling technique and Taro Yamane formula, 287 students were taken as the sample. The instrument of the research was the scale of Likert model. The data obtained were analyzed by using percentage technique. The correlation between learning style and learning outcomes was tested by using Chi Square, and correlation between learning skill and learning outcomes was tested by using Spearman Rank Correlation.Â The results of the research revealed that: (1) the learning style dominantly applied by the students of the Faculty of Education of UNP was visual learning style which was used by 49.13% students, (2) the learning skill of the students of the Faculty of Education of UNP was in average category (68.18%), (3) there was a significant correlation between learning style and learning outcomes, and (4) there was a significant correlation between learning skill and learning outcomes. The implication of these research findings toward Guidance and Counseling Service was it was necessary to cooperate with other related parties to optimize the studentsâ€™ learning style, learning skill andÂ learning outcomes.

This research was conducted by a high amount of unemployment from graduate students of university. The high amount of unemployment from graduate students of university indicated that undergraduate students had low work readiness. Career planning and self-efficacy were the factors assumed that influenced work readiness. This research was intended to describe: (1) career planning, self-efficacy, and work readiness of undergraduate students, (2) the correlation of career planning with work readiness, (3) the correlation carrier planning and self-efficacy with work readiness. This research applied correlational descriptive research with quantitative method. The population of this research was the seventh and ninth undergraduate students semester of Guidance and Counseling of UIN Suska Riau consisting of 139 undergraduate students, the sample consisted of 103 undergraduate students chosen by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used was likert scale model. The data were analysed byÂ using descriptive statistic, simple regression and multiple regression. The research findings indicated that: (1) career planning of undergraduate students was averagely included into good category, self-efficacy of undergraduate students was averagely included into high category, work readiness of undergraduate students was averagely included into high category, (2) there was a significant correlation between career planning with work readiness about 28,7% (R = 0,536, significance 0.000), (3) there was a significant correlation between self-efficacy with work readiness about 16.4% (R = 0.405, significance 0.000), (4) there was a significant correlation between carrier planning and self-efficacy with work readiness about 33.2% (R = 0.576, significance 0.000)Â

Career planning is the first step of students in achieving success. One factor that plays a role in career planning is parental support.The purpose of this study was to explore parents suport in vocational student career planning.The data were statistically analyzed using the Rasch model statistical fit analysis. The present study examined 112 vocational students. The results showed that parental support played an important role in student career planning. The results highlight the positive role that parents can play in studentsâ€™ vocational career planning by supporting their with emotional, esteem, instrumental and information can helping them make a good career planning.

TruancyÂ is an act of stay away from school without permission. . This study was conducted in SMPN 1 Nan Sabaris to ward studentsâ€™ truant behavior. The purpose of this study describes the concept of the school, and the behavior which were shown, the causal factor truant behavior and the effort of guidance and counseling teacher in helping students who have truant behavior. This research was conducted under qualitative in term of case studies research. The purposive and snowball sampling techniques were used to take the sample. Thus the data were obtained from student, parents, friends of the sample student and subject teachers and guidance and counseling teacher. Interview, observation and document analysis were used to collect the data were analyzed through data reduction, presentation and conclusion or verification.
