Abstract

Religion issue recently gets much attention in Indonesian media coverage. A Rally named ‘212 alumni reunion’ to celebrate the anniversary of a previous rally that demanded the prosecution of then Jakarta Governor Basuki ‘Ahok’ Tjahaja Purnama after he was accused of blasphemy became national-wide coverage of national media. By using the framing analysis method, this article tries to illustrate how an online media, detik.com, have or have not applied journalism principal in coveting that religious issue. The result of the study shows that detik.com have done media function because it has applied media principle of neutrality. This research did not find any subjective opinion and political interest in the text. Besides that, detik.com was more focusing on the using of ‘what’ element of news as well as the ‘who’ element for describing the issue more objectively.

Abstract

AbstractIn handling the crisis company, Public Relations Proffesionals is required to balance the interests of companies and term of public interests. Public Relations Proffesionals often perform persuasion what course for sake of good company reputation. Here, ethics advocacy present into solutions dilematik between defending the interests of company and the public interests. In communicating to the public, Public Relations Proffesionals rests on a truth value, honesty, social responsibility, openness, loyalty, fair thinking, respect, integrity and communication frankly. The models of ethics in overcoming the crisis include Attorney Adversary Model, Two-way symmetrical model, Social Responsibility Model, Partisan versus Mutual Values Model, and Professional Responsibility Model. Abstract

Kepedulian lingkungan menjadi nilai yang digerakkan di wilayah RW X Program Kampung Iklim Bhakti Persada Indah Semarang. Di wilayah ini pernah terjadi terjadi kebakaran lereng sisi utara RT 05 dan RT 09 pada tahun 2008 dan 2015 sehingga warga aktif melakukan beragam program lingkungan yang dikemas dalam Program Iklim Purwoyoso Kepedulian Lingkungan. Kepedulian lingkungan inilah yang menjadi konten publikasi agar dapat dicontoh wilayah lainnya. Namun, publikasi kegiatan hingga Maret 2020 masih berfokus pada publikasi media cetak saja sehingga jangkauannya kurang luas. Sedangkan publikasi secara online masih belum optimal dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan pemanfaatan SEO sebagai komunikasi online Program Kampung Iklim Bhakti Persada Indah Semarang. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat adalah penulisan release untuk berita online yang berdasarkan cara mengoptimalkan kata kunci di mesin pencari. SEO memungkinkan konten lingkungan dari Proklim Purwokeling sebagai publikasi online muncul di daftar hasil teratas mesin pencari. Pelatihan untuk memanfaatkan SEO sebagai komunikasi online Program Kampung Iklim Purwokeling Bhakti Persada Indah Semarang dengan membuat konten yang menarik dan tepat bisa semakin menarik masyarakat untuk lebih peduli dengan lingkungan dan menginspirasi melakukan hal yang sama demi keberlanjutan ekosistem.Kata kunci: Pelatihan penulisan online, Program Kampung Iklim, Proklim Purwokeling BPI, Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between qanaah and the level of life satisfaction in the elderly in Rasuan Baru Village, Madang Suku II District, East Oku Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of field research with a correlational model (correlational research). The sample in this study were 30 elderly people in Rasuan Baru Village. The data analysis technique uses Pearson's product moment correlation with the help of the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 25.0 for windows program. The results of this study indicate that a positive relationship is proven with a correlation coefficient of 0,528. This means that the higher the attitude of qanaah, the higher the level of life satisfaction in the elderly.

Abstract

Abstract Fraud in investments is a problem that must be addressed immediately. The rise in cases of investment fraud has created a negative perception in society regarding investment, making people reluctant to invest. Indonesia Stock Exchange in this case implements Literacy and Education Activities Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) In the Capital Market Sustainable Program as an effort to reduce investment fraud, because the lack of financial literacy makes people more vulnerable to being cheated. The aim of this research is to explain the implementation of literacy and educational activities Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) capital market sustainable program carried out by Indonesia Stock Exchange is carried out on the basis of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an interpretive paradigm. Primary data was obtained by conducting in-depth interviews and observations with sources. Secondary data was obtained through searches such as research journals, books and scientific writings related to this research. Data analysis through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of literacy and education activities Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) The Capital Market Sustainable Program carried out by Indonesia Stock Exchange is carried out on the basis of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) by applying attitudes (self-courage, likes challenges, high confidence, understanding of inflation,awareness good financial management, a sense of pride), Subjective Norms (investment trends, fear of missing out or FOMO, information from influencers, as well as the influence of friends), Perceived Behavioral Control (public confidence in investment), and Intention (ease of access, effectiveness of the material, and professionalism of the mentors). Abstrak Penipuan pada investasi menjadi salah satu permasalahan sosial yang harus segera ditangani. Maraknya kasus penipuan investasi menimbulkan persepsi negatif di masyarakat mengenai investasi sehingga membuat orang enggan berinvestasi. PT Bursa Efek Indonesia dalam hal ini mengimplementasikan kegiatan literasi dan edukasi Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Pada program berkelanjutan pasar modal sebagai upaya mengurangi penipuan investasi, karena dengan minimnya literasi keuangan mengakibatkan masyarakat lebih rentan untuk ditipu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan implementasi kegiatan literasi dan edukasi Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program berkelanjutan pasar modal yang dilakukan oleh PT Bursa Efek Indonesia dilakukan atas dasar Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Metode penelitian yang digunakan melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan paradigma interpretif. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui penelusuran seperti jurnal-jurnal penelitian, buku, dan tulisan ilmiah terkait dengan penelitian ini. Analisa data melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kegiatan literasi dan edukasi Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program berkelanjutan pasar modal yang dilakukan oleh PT Bursa Efek Indonesia dilakukan atas dasar Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) dengan menerapkan attitudes (keberanian diri, suka akan tantangan, kepercayaan yang tinggi, pemahaman akan inflasi, awareness yang baik terhadap pengelolaan keuangan, rasa bangga atau pride), Subjective Norms (trend investasi, sikap fear of missing out atau FOMO, informasi dari influencer, serta pengaruh teman), Perceived Behavioral Control (kepercayaan masyarakat akan investasi), dan Intention (kemudahan akses, efektifitas materi, serta profesionalisme dari pemateri). Kata-kata kunci: Corporate social responsibility; literasi keuangan; penipuan investasi; theory of planned behavior.

Abstract

The situation that shows Soegi Bornean can gain popularity quickly even though the condition of the music industry in Semarang is still inferior to several other cities, indicates that the band applies public relations strategies with external parties to improve its image which has an impact on popularity. So, the formulation of this problem is to describe these indications using John A. Ledingham's relationship management theory. The research method used is qualitative with case studies. The results showed that Soegi Bornean achieved popularity in a short time because it carried out relationship management activities with external parties, such as aggregators and fanbases. In its implementation, Soegi Bornean applies the principles of relationship management and SMARTS model very well until have a positive quality. Therefore, it has an impact on increasing Soegi Bornean's popularity where a public recognises Soegi Bornean as a music group that has physical attractiveness, attractiveness of work, positive personnel characteristics, and is active in the community.

Abstract

This research explores public discourse on financial policies by analyzing tweets mentioning the keyword 'Kemenkeu' (Ministry of Finance). Using Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA), the study examined 10,099 tweets to uncover key topics that reflect public sentiment toward the Ministry’s policies. Preprocessing steps, such as stopword removal and stemming with Sastrawi, were essential to ensure the effectiveness of the analysis. The results revealed three main topics: Finance and Budget, Salaries and Employee Welfare, and Excise and Customs Regulations. These insights provide a better understanding of public opinion on financial issues and highlight the importance of proper text preprocessing in topic modeling. This approach demonstrates how LSA can be used as a tool for analyzing large-scale social media data, offering valuable input for policymakers. Future research could expand on this by using more advanced models or larger datasets to gain deeper insights.

Abstract

Introduction: On restrictions during the pandemic, significantly reducing passenger numbers. PT KAI adapted by introducing innovations like Genose testing, online ticketing, and vaccination services to ensure safety and compliance. This paper examines PT KAI’s customer relations via Instagram (@kai121) during the pandemic. It focuses on using digital public relations and the SMART Relationship Management Process Model to maintain engagement and satisfaction. These efforts highlight KAI’s adaptability in meeting customer needs. Methods: This research employs Virtual Ethnography to observe interactions on 427 KAI posts made between March 2020 and October 2021. The data is then analyzed using Customer Relationship Management theory, incorporating the stages of Scan, Map, Act, Roll Out, Track, and Stew. Findings: The study found that during the pandemic, KAI’s Instagram content focused on various topics: corporate events (13.81%), national transportation policies (15.45%), health protocols (11.07%), train service promotions (38.38%), railway education (13.38%), and giveaway content (7.96%). The content prominently highlighted KAI services such as Rail Express, schedule updates, rapid/antigen testing, and KAI Access. Posts related to transportation policies and health protocols received significant engagement, with transportation policy updates garnering the most comments as followers sought the latest travel information. KAI effectively utilized digital public relations through Instagram to engage with customers. Originality: This study is novel as it is the first in Indonesia to analyze KAI’s customer relations through digital public relations during the pandemic.

Abstract

The perceptions and expressions shared by the public on social media play a crucial role in shaping the reputation of government institutions, such as the Ministry of Finance MOF (Kemenkeu) in Indonesia which also has faced increased scrutiny, particularly on Twitter. This study analyzes public sentiment towards the Indonesian Ministry of Finance (MoF) through Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) on Twitter data. Using a dataset of 10,099 tweets from January to July 2024, this study combines IndoBERT for sentiment classification and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for topic modeling. Here, LDA was tested across four scenarios that considered various combinations of stopwords removal and stemming techniques, resulting in coherence scores of 0.314256, 0.369636, 0.350285, and 0.541752. The most optimal results were achieved in the scenario of stopwords removal without stemming (with 0.314256 coherence score). The main results show: 1) Identification of four main topics related to MoF: Economy, Budget, Employees, and Tax; 2) The dominance of negative sentiment (6,837 tweets) compared to positive sentiment (198 tweets) across all topics; 3) The effectiveness of IndoBERT in handling the complexity of the Indonesian language, especially in interpreting context and language nuances; 4) The importance of proper preprocessing, with a scenario of removing stopwords without stemming resulting in the most relevant topics. This study provides valuable insights for MoF to understand public perception and identify areas that require special attention in public communication and policy.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tuberkulosis menjadi penyakit menular paling mematikan secara global (WHO), dengan 10,6 juta kasus dunia dan 877.531 kasus di Indonesia pada 2023. Kecamatan Panyingkiran di Kabupaten Majalengka mencatat 57 kasus, termasuk 10 besar terbanyak di kabupaten. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup pasien Tuberkulosis.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik cross-sectional. Populasi dan sampel berjumlah 57 pasien Tuberkulosis di Kecamatan Panyingkiran, dengan teknik sampling Total Sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik.Hasil: Kualitas hidup pasien Tuberkulosis dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh usia, dukungan keluarga, efikasi diri, lama pengobatan (nilai  p-value<0,05), jenis kelamin dan pendapatan tidak menunjukkan hubungan signifikan. Efikasi diri menjadi pengaruh terkuat (OR=23,91 dan nilai  p-value 0,012)Kesimpulan: Dukungan keluarga sangat penting demi meningkatkan semangat dan persepsi positif pasien terhadap penyembuhan dan meningkatkan efikasi diri serta pada gilirannya berhubungan positif dengan kualitas hidup pasien Tuberkulosis.
