Abstract

The background of this research is the fact that the wedding ceremony and bridegroom makeup in Minangkabau is known in general in the society and the further details of this procession are only known by some particular local people in the custom. The researcher discovers that there is the difference in wedding ceremony in Kecamatan Pauh and other kecamatan in Padang, West Sumatera. The goal of this research is to discover more about the wedding ceremony and the bridegroom makeup in Kecamatan Pauh, Padang, West Sumatera. This research use qualitative research method in order to dig in a more detail information regarding the wedding ceremony and bridegroom makeup in Kecamatan Pauh, Padang, West Sumatera. The object of this research is the wedding ceremony and bridegroom makeup, and the informants in this research are four people who know the detail information about the wedding ceremony and bridegroom makeup in Kecamatan Pauh, Padang. The data is collected by doing observation, interview, documentation and the data analysis is data triangulation and reduction.The result of this research shows that the wedding ceremony and its’ sequence have some differences in the tradition between Kecamatan Pauh and other areas in Padang. In Kecamatan Pauh, the old tradition is the guide for the present tradition, even though there are some parts that have changed. The clothes of the bridegroom in the old days is pretty different with the present clothes. Thus, a clearer information about the wedding ceremony and bridegroom makeup in Kecamatan Pauh, Padang is obtained to be known for the next generation and can be conserved in the future so that this tradition will not disappear later.Kata kunci : Wedding ceremony, cosmetologys

Abstract

Lubang Panjang merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang terdapat di Kecamatan Barangin Kota Sawahlunto. Kelurahan ini memiliki luas wilayah 231,93 Km2. Masyarakat kelurahan Lubang Panjang sangat mengantungkan hidupnya dari pertanian dan perkebunan. Menurut data potensi kelurahan memiliki luas wilayah perkebunan dan pertanian sekitar 938,68 Ha. Salah satu komoditi pertanian dan perkebunan yang paling dominan adalah kakao. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat kelurahan lubang adalah limbah kulit kakao yang menumpuk setiap kali panen dan bahkan limbah tersebut menghasilkan bau yang kurang sedap. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut Tim KKN UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar melakukan pendampingan pengolahan limbah kulit kakoa agar dapat termanfaatkan dan bernilai ekonomis dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan pengolahan limbah kulit kakao menjadi briket. Pelatihan ini diikuti sebanyak 15 orang dari komunitas masyarakat yang terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga, karang taruna, dan perangkat kelurahan. Metode dalam pelatihan ini dibagi kedalam dua tahap yakni penyampaian materi tentang manfaat dan cara pengolahan briket dari limbah kulit kakoa dan tahap kedua adalah praktek pembuatan briket. Pelatihan ini mendapat respon positif dari para peserta dan para peserta mengikuti kegiatan ini sangat antusias. Kata Kunci: Briket, Limbah Kulit Kakau, Lubang Panjang

Abstract

Pelestarian seni jaran kepang penting untuk menjaga warisan budaya Indonesia di tengah modernisasi. Partisipasi komunitas lokal melalui dokumentasi, pendidikan, dan promosi sangat vital. Dampak positifnya termasuk keberlanjutan seni, penguatan identitas budaya, pengembangan ekonomi lokal, serta peningkatan pendidikan dan pariwisata budaya. Tujuan pelestarian mencakup menjaga warisan budaya, meningkatkan kesadaran budaya, memperkuat identitas lokal, dan mengembangkan ekonomi kreatif. Manfaatnya adalah pemeliharaan identitas budaya, pengembangan ekonomi, peningkatan pendidikan, pelestarian keterampilan tradisional, dan dukungan terhadap pariwisata budaya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using diorama media on learning outcomes in science and science learning material on the water cycle for class III elementary school cluster XIX in Bengkulu City. This research is a type of quantitative research. The research method used was a quasi-experimental method with the Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were class III students at Gugus XIX Elementary School, Bengkulu City. The research sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique, resulting in class IIIA of SD Negeri 103 Bengkulu City as the experimental class and class IIIA of SD Negeri 69 Bengkulu City as the control class. The instrument used was a written test sheet in the form of 10 multiple choice questions with data collection techniques in the form of Pretest and Posttest. The test was taken twice, namely before and after learning took place in the experimental class and control class. Based on the results of t-test calculations, students' posttest scores, sig. (2- tailed) is worth 0.000 0.05. This shows that there are differences in posttest results between the experimental class and the control class due to the different treatment of the two classes. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of diorama media on learning outcomes in science and science learning material on the water cycle for class III elementary school cluster XIX in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran ICARE untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa di era pandemi covid.19 di SMP Tunas Bangsa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII. Pada penelitian ini, teknik analisis data yang dilakukan menurut Miles dan Huberman, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Subjek penelitian pada tingkat kemampuan berfikir kritis tinggi sudah mampu memyelesaikan soal matematika siswa dari indikator 1 sampai dengan indikator 4,Dan dapat simpulkan bahwahasil penelitian kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran (ICARE) siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Tunas Bangsa Tahun Ajaran 2021-2022 dikatakan mampu dan baik. ABSTRACT                This study aims to find out how to apply the ICARE learning model to improve students’ critical thinking skills in the covid.19 pandemic era at Tunas Bangsa Junior High School. This research is a descriptive qualilatitative research. The sampel iof this research is class VIII students. In this study, data analiysus techniques perfromed according to Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and data collection techniques by interview, observation, and documentation. The result showd that (1) the research subjects’ math problem from indicato 1 to indicator 4, and it can be concluded that the result of reseach on students’ critical thinking skill by applying the Learning Model ICARE for class VIII junior high school students Private Tunas Sangsa Nation for the Acadmic Year 2021//2022 is said to be capable and good.

Abstract

Generasi Z menghadapi krisis eksistensial akibat tekanan akademik, tuntutan sosial, dan standar yang tidak realistis yang dibentuk oleh media sosial. Musik—terutama karya-karya Hindia—muncul sebagai medium reflektif yang mengartikulasikan kecemasan dan mendukung pencarian makna hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman subjektif mahasiswa Antropologi Budaya di Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang dalam hubungannya dengan musik Hindia. Temuan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa lirik dan melodi Hindia memiliki resonansi emosional yang kuat, memberikan ruang bagi validasi emosi dan refleksi diri. Musiknya tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai alat terapeutik yang membantu individu menghadapi tantangan hidup, melepaskan diri dari tekanan sosial, dan merangkul keaslian diri. Penelitian ini menegaskan peran musik dalam mendorong kesejahteraan psikologis dan mendukung konstruksi makna personal di kalangan Generasi Z.

Abstract

Peserta didik masih kurang dalam menerapkan pendekatan saintifik seperti bertanya atau mengomunikasikan ulang terhadap pembelajaran dikarenakan kurangnya dalam berpikir kritis secara objektif dan kurang percaya diri. Pendekatan ini berfokus pada proses kognitif yang dilalui siswa, seperti mengamati, menanya, mencoba, menalar, dan mengomunikasikan. Dalam konteks pendidikan abad ke-21, penilaian saintifik menjadi sangat penting untuk mendorong pengembangan pemikiran kritis dan objektif siswa sejak dini. Metode yang digunakan seperti studi kasus yang terdapat dikelas dan study library untuk memperoleh sumber mengenai tentang penilaian saintifik hasil dan pembahasannya mengenai pendekatan saintifik yang bisa diterapkan dikelas dan kita ketahui bahwa penilaian ini sangat relevan untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, rasa ingin tahu, dan tanggung jawab siswa sejak dini. Meskipun ada tantangan dalam penerapannya, seperti keterbatasan waktu dan kurangnya pemahaman guru, penilaian saintifik tetap bisa diterapkan secara efektif dengan dukungan pelatihan, perangkat penilaian yang jelas, serta peran aktif kepala sekolah.

Abstract

The lack of student learning concentration that interferes with learning at SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman is a problem that needs to be overcome. Based on observations, students who do not eat breakfast tend to arrive late, often sleepy, and some even faint due to poor health conditions. Breakfast is the best source of energy for concentration because it contributes 25% of daily energy needs. This study aims to determine the breakfast habits of culinary students, the level of study concentration, and analyze the influence of breakfast habits on students' learning concentration. The research uses a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. The research population is all students Culinary SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman totaling 126 students using the total population technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, linearity tests, and Pearson Product Moment correlations. The breakfast habits of students with an average of 64.05 are in the medium category, while learning concentration with an average of 70.60 is in the high category. There was a significant positive relationship between breakfast habits and study concentration (r = 0.437; p < 0.05). Breakfast habits contributed 19.1% to student learning concentration. There is a positive and significant influence between breakfast habits on the learning concentration of culinary students at SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman. The better the breakfast habits, the higher the student's level of study concentration.

Abstract

In the school environment, students' attitudes towards teachers and the relationship between them are key factors that influence the effectiveness of learning and the learning situation in the classroom. There are often ethical challenges such as lack of respect for teachers, behavioral disruptions, and poor communication issues between teachers and students. The purpose of the research is to explore the importance of education as an effective instrument, address the ethical challenges that commonly arise in the school environment and provide insight into the role of education in shaping more positive student attitudes by creating a more ethical learning environment. The method that researchers use is to combine a Quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents using the Google Form platform and then sharing them online via the WhatsApp application to analyze and obtain accurate data so as to obtain reliable results. The result of this study is that education plays an important role in overcoming ethical challenges in schools by developing students' character and strengthening positive attitudes towards teachers. Moreover, the strategy that can overcome these problems is communication between teachers and students. The researcher hopes that future researchers will be able to contribute to the ethical challenges in schools more precisely related to students' attitudes towards teachers. In addition, the researcher also hopes that this research can be a foundation for everyone so that they can appreciate how important education is to ethical attitudes, so that it can give birth to a young generation that grows responsibly in society. The researcher also suggests other researchers to further investigate it by focusing more on the character building of students towards teachers as well as investigating more efficient educational programs.
