Abstract

Code mixing and code switching prove effective in navigating communication complexities arising from participant’ diverse linguistic proficiency levels. This article assesss the role of code mixing and code switching in the dialogue featuring Cinta Laura Kiehl on Boy William’s Youtube Channel, dated 6th September 2021, the titled is “#Nebeng Boy eps 42”. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study gathers written data from Cinta Laura’s interview on Boy William Youtube Channel and analyzes it using explanatory samples. Cinta Laura, a proficient bilingual communicator, demonstrates the absence of language dominance. Specifically, the dominant function of code mixing relates to linguistic challenges, while code switching primarily involves the ability to articulate in a specific language. These findings aim to contribute to students’ English lecturers, and sociolinguistic researchers, encouraging a deeper exploration of the purpose behind code mixing and code switching in conversations.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berjudul Pelatihan dan Pembuatan Absen Siswa menggunakan Microsoft Excel pada SDN 060944. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berjudul Pelatihan dan Pembuatan Absen Siswa menggunakan Microsoft Excel pada SDN 060944. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berjudul Pelatihan dan Pembuatan Absen Siswa menggunakan Microsoft Excel pada SDN 060944. Metode Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah dengan melakukan Survey, analisis data dan sistem, perancangan dan design, input dan absensi, pelatihan dan Uji Coba. Hasil Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat menunjukan bahwa umumnya sekolah-sekolah masih menggunakan absensi siswa secara konvensional yaitu pada proses pencatatan dan rekapitulasi dengan cara memanggil satu persatu siswa lalu mencatat di buku atau catatan yang telah disediakan oleh sekolah maupun oleh guru tersebut. Kemudian saat rekapitulasi guru masih menghitung jumlah kehadiran atau ketidakhadiran siswa secara manual seperti jumlah sakit, izin maupun tanda kabar atau yang dikenal dengan istilah alpa. Tentunya cara ini akan terasa sulit bagi seorang guru mengingat jumlah siswa yang tidak sedikit. Belum lagi jika seorang guru tersebut harus mengajar di beberapa kelas yang berbeda, mata pelajaran yang berbeda bahkan seorang guru bisa mengajar di beberapa sekolah yang berbeda. Jika terjadi kesalahan terjadinya kesalahan dalam perhitungan jumlah kehadiran siswa tentunya hal ini akan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang tentunya berakibat kerugian bagi siswa tersebut.

Abstract

Adapun judul penelitian ini adalah Perana Suara Pada Film Tilik Sutradara Wahyu Agung Prasetyo. Dalam film ini menceritakan tentang seseorang gadis cantik yang berada dikampungnya dan mempunyai nama Dian. banyak lelaki yang mendekatinya sampai datang melamarnya. masyarakat desa bergunjing perihal status lajang Dian. dalam satu kesempatan masyarakat melakukan perjalanan naik truk dalam rangka menjenguk (tilik) Bu Lurah pada rumah sakit di Kota, beberapa masyarakat berdebat tentang siapa yang bakal mempersunting Dian. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah penulis ingin mengetahui bagaimana peranan suara yang terdapat pada film Tilik Sutradara Wahyu Agung Prasetyo. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan sebuah metode untuk mendeskripsikan peranan suara yang terdapat pada film “Tilik” metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskripsi kualitatif. Dimana metode ini memberikan pemahaman melalui penjelasan tertulis. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi antara dialog suara pada film tilik sutradara Wahyu Agung Prasetyo yaitu mempermudah dalam menyampaikan suatu kesan kepada penonton adalah seperti Digieticsound dan nondigietic sound yang mampu memberikan dimensi suara pada film Tilik Sutradara Wahyu Agung Prasetyo.

Abstract

Pendidikan abad 21 merupakan Pendidikan yang salah satu tuntutannya adalah kreatifitas pada mahasiswa. Kreatifitas ini bisa dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang mampu menstimulus kemampuan kreatifitas mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kreatifitas mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan Project based learning (PjBL). Disain penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen one shot case study dengan sampel penelitian 35 mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Project based learning (PjBL) memiliki persentase kreatifitas rata-rata 74% denagn kategori tinggi. beberapa kendala ditemui pada kegiatan pembelaajran seperti, pemahaman mahasiswa pada pembelajaran Project based learning (PjBL), perancangan proyek, distribusi tugas kelompo, dll. namun secara umum kendala yang ditemui mampu diselesaikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Project based learning (PjBL) mampu menghasilkan kreatifitas yang tinggi pada mahasiswa.Keywords: Pembelajaran Proyek, Kreatifitas, PjBL

Abstract

Carp (Cyprinus carpio) or often known as carp is a freshwater fish that has important economic value and is widespread in Indonesia, Indonesian people are no strangers to this freshwater fish. there are those who keep it as an ornamental fish, but there are also those who consume it as a delicious meal. Therefore it is very possible to cultivate this carp well in order to minimize frequent diseases which result in many deaths, so that it can have an impact on the level of sales and the economy. So it is very possible to build a computerized system based on expert systems in diagnosing carp disease so that it can facilitate access to information for people who need information about carp disease. Website-based system design using the Dempster Shafer Method because it is considered quite flexible and has tolerance for inaccurate data and is based on natural language.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' motivation and English-speaking skills by using the Duolingo application. The type of research applied in this study is a quasi-experimental method research type with a one group pre-test-post-test design approach, namely experimental research carried out on only one group, namely the experimental group without a comparison group or control group. The study was conducted on students of the English Study Program, Universitas Potensi Utama Medan, Semester I TA. 2024/2025, totaling 30 people. Based on the research results, it shows that the application Duolingo as a learning medium has been proven to be effective in improving students' English-speaking skills and increasing students' interest and motivation in participating in learning. It can be seen from the results of the percentage that has increased after the Duolingo application was implemented as a learning medium. In the pretest activity, the percentage of student completion scores only reached 30%, and student responses during the learning process were categorized as lacking, meaning that students seemed less motivated to participate in learning activities. While in the posttest activity there was a significant increase where there were 74% of students who experienced completion in learning to speak English and student responses during the learning process were categorized as good. This means that student interest and motivation in participating in learning have increased

Abstract

E-learning is an important advance in the modern education system. While an Illustration is an art of visual on writing artwork, drawing, painting, photography or another type on an art. Most People want to be an illustrator usually must learning their skill basic with self-taught or learning on art of school. However most people specifically for known illustration and want to learn their skill on art school but constrained with distance or time or another reason with their tools art. Until the most people can not got their skill with fast. By looking at this times with the Design Online Learning Of Education On Illustration At Website, which have contain more information and education about illustration and the illustrator can make easier for other to learning or to hone their skill with complete material which is came from most experience illustrator. The design will become a place of sharing content about illustration, it was built with PHP, and DBMS MySql. This research resulted in an e-learning application using Iconix process.
