My read: this is the smoking gun. The fix is in; once it lands, I can cover it with an integration test, belt and suspenders.
Software Developer at @JetBrains
- Is it just me, or does this Tiktokish word “unalive” carry more creepiness and nascent trauma about it than “kill”
- Flight attendant: is there a software engineer onboard? We need to solve a performance issue in our code. Me: (nudges Fable) That could have been you. Why don't you go and prove the Jacobian conjecture, maybe it helps.
- On the same note, Fable spent half an hour crunching on a performance issue only to happily report that it's caused by running the app in the development mode (needless to say the reported issue happens in the production build)
- Codex got crippled by its own bundled skill control-in-app-browser. It's written in such a way that it needs an opened browser with ChatGPT plugin installed, otherwise it reports that no browsers are available. If there is a browser, Codex uses node_repl tool to control it.
