As of June 2024, Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) was the bank, among those selected, with the greatest financial solvency according to the common equity tier * (CET1) transitional capital ratio. All selected banks' transitional CET1 ratio exceeded *** percent, complying with the European Union's requirements which, based on the Basel III accord, set the minimum standard for fully loaded CET1 ratio at *** percent.
