Greece's solar power penetration has seen an overall increase over the past decade, despite having registered a decline between 2014 and 2018. After that, figures experienced a continual growth and in 2024 the Mediterranean country generated about ***percent of its electricity from solar power – the highest figure on record. The country's investments in solar energy have also spiked in recent years.
