P2P payment means in terms of number and value of deals in Portugal 2024
In Portugal, in 2024, both in number and in value of person-to-person (P2P) transactions, cards and mobile apps were the most used payment method. It prevailed in 49 percent of the number of payments and monopolized 43 percent of their value. Cash payments followed, dominating 27 percent of the number of P2P payments while preserving 15 percent of the value of these transactions.
