Most successful countries in the women's long jump at the Summer Olympics 1948-2024
As of 2024, the United States was at the top of the medal table for the women's Olympic long jump. In total, Team USA had 12 medals, four of which were gold.
Two athletes have been stripped of medals won in this event, these were the U.S.' Marion Jones, who was stripped of the bronze medal she won in 2000 (along with four other medals), and Russia's Tatyana Lebedeva, who was stripped of the silver medal she won in 2008, although her gold medal in the 2004 event remains unaffected as of 2024.
