During a 2022 study conducted in Colombia, politicians, digital influencers, representatives of media, academia, the private sector, and social organizations were asked to say the three print media they read most often to stay informed. Approximately ** percent of respondents mentioned the newspaper El Tiempo, and ** percent the newspaper El Espectador. Colombian opinion leaders' top three news sources in 2021 were a TV news program, a newspaper, and a podcast.
