Return Policy
Our Support staff will help you complete a return for any of the following within 30 days of purchase:
- Unmodified or unused product in original packaging;
- Product damaged in transit; or
- If the incorrect item was received.

If it’s a Product we don’t manufacture at SparkFun, we will direct you to the product manufacturer for applicable support.

Full Return Guidelines
- All returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase. You can initiate a return by completing the form above.
- All returns must be reviewed and authorized by Support prior to sending any Product(s) back.
- Returns must be in original packaging and include all parts and accessories included with the Product(s). Your return may be denied if it is received in incomplete or damaged condition.
- Any applicable restocking fees will be communicated to you via email and will be available on your return authorization information if your return request is approved.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be applied to original payment method or store credit.
- Returns may take up to 2 weeks to process, not including transit times.
- Exchanges cannot be modified to include different or additional Product(s).
- SparkFun will cover/refund return shipping charges if the damage is found to be related to a defective unit.
- SparkFun does not allow returns for damage caused by misuse, modifications, improper installation, etc; or for wear from normal use, over-voltage, ESD damage, or improper handling.
- For best service and lowest risk of loss/damage to your return, we suggest that it is sent via a trackable shipping method.
- Please note that SparkFun is not responsible for lost returns sent via non-trackable methods.
Non-Returnable Items
Unfortunately, there are a few product segments/types we cannot offer returns on, including:
- Batteries: lithium ion, lithium metal, lithium coin cell, NiMH, Alkaline, and any other battery types not explicitly listed here.
- SparkX Products
- DropShip Products: Products shipped by a third party fulfillment center and not shipped directly from SparkFun
- Products Listed As: "Ding & Dent", "As Is", "Clearance", or "No Warranty" at time of purchase
- Non-Cancelable/Non-Returnable (NCNR) Products: Products accompanied by a signed NCNR; Products listed as cannot be returned by the Manufacturerer; etc.
- Products Listed as Not Allowed for Return on Product Page
If a non-returnable item arrives damaged or is not functioning properly, please do not hesitate to contact Support to see if further action may be taken.
SparkFun reserves the right to refuse a return but the rationale behind the refusal will be shared.
